Pakalolo808 First and second week very much the same...better updates on week 2.

Pakalolo808 Vitals: Week 1 - Germinated in glass of water for 14-18 hours, then saucer/paper towel (no ink/dye) + H20+ 48hrs darkness gave me with a nice strong stem root. - Potted stemmed seed in small starter pot with MG moister control for 10 days with tap water only, then transferred to DIY airpot with Mother Earth potting soil and added dash of extra perlite. Week 2 - Fed with lower-end dose Fox Farm's Grow Big (2 tsp/1 gal H20)

Pakalolo808 Pictures show my first attempt at a homemade airpot. Bunch of holes (1/4 inch drill bit) all around the lower 1/2 to 3/4 portion of the pot. I wrapped some gorilla tape around the upper portion just to add some strength to the pot as I'm always moving them around chasing sunlight. She sits on the lanai (patio) during the night to ensure she doesn't take on rain water. First thing in the morning the sun hits her...then I move her out into the yard to sunbathe until sundown, then it's back to the lanai for the night. Unless it rains, she stays out in the sun all day. If it rains, she goes back to the lanai where their's plenty "shady daylight" but protection from the rain (I monitor all her water intake). - Tap water as needed (PH ranges from 6-7) - FF Grow Big max dose; max dose of 3 tsp/1 gal H20 (only one feed) - She grew a couple inches in the last 7-8 days and appears to be doing okay thus far

Pakalolo808 Folks, I regret to report that this plant has not been unsuccessful due to my mother's dog peeing on them...I tried freshwater flushing to save them, but the recovery severely stunted the veg state and flowers are tiny. Still going to harvest though. To prevent future occurrences, I've placed pots on pot stands to elevate high enough/unreachable to the little dog's hiked leg!
