Blueberry 420 DWC Stealth

Darkmanx I'm back. Round 2. Here we go. I turned the last grow into RSO and am enjoying every drop. First for those that followed the last grow thanks for your imput, you may notice a few changes. I ripped out the worthless airsock and flattened the light reflector. Ran some 4" ducting to a 4" filter and there is absolutely zero smell. Best ugrade so far. Also added some legs to the bottom to get it off the carpet and allow airflow around all sides. Another you may notice is there is only one plant in the cups. Lesson learned. I'm sure I could grow 4 in there with tons more experience, but for a first grow it was a bit overzealous. I have the cool probe in there but probably won't need it. Direc seed sow into Rockwood cube. Cube soaked in a 6,0 pH RO H2O + B1-Red for 2 hours. Drained and sowed seed. O2 Bubbles in Rez are jumping up and keeping cube moist. Water level about 1/2-3/4" below bottom of cups. Plan is to LST around the edges keeping veg 4" above surface of rez so I can still access cups for MX.

Darkmanx Nice root growth. Temps are good. pH good. Ppm good. So far so good. Starting veg nutes soon and lst. Small bends to keep things low before I install a trellis.

Darkmanx Transition from seedling to veg. Started nutes at half strength to avoid shock. Full strength hydroguard. Turned on cool probe to keep Rez temps down. Also turned on circulation fan. Going to start top feed week 4, hoping for a boost in growth. Not sure yet what to expect. Lights still on 24/7. I read Autos can grow under 24. I plan on backing down to 18/6 when flower starts. So far so good.

Darkmanx Lots of veg growth. It's amazing how fast these beauties grow. I went ahead and built my scrog trelis then topped her. As of right now I'm just tucking fan leaves but as soon as she gets to the trelis I'm hoping it will really open up and show more growth. I re-routed my intake hose to under the cabinet with the hopes of bringing in cooler air. Wow did that sure work. Temps inside are 10F cooler. Probably helps that the plant is using the light and warmth now as well instead of the hot air just sitting inside the room. Humidity is super low and I'm not sure what to do. As of right now I'm using a foliar spray twice a day and the plant seems content. Also there is growth in the Rez. Not sure what kind but I keep hydroguard in there and its not affecting the plant at all from what I see. Don't want to street the roots out with h2o2 ,what else can I do?

Darkmanx So far so good. She's growing very well despite the brown junk in the bottom of the Rez and on the walls. I'll be flushing next week and I may add in a few extra mils of florakleen. I don't want to strip everything with 30%h2o2. I'll keep using hydroguard and hope it keeps a balance between good and evil. Defoliation has occurred. It gave me more access to the lower branches allowing more LST in order to fill every inch possible of the horizontal plane. Placed a small humidifier in the box but humidity levels still severely low. Going to try a fan controller for exhaust in hopes it may allow humidity to build a bit. I feel she's about to flower really soon.

Darkmanx So far so good. A little discoloration in a few leaves. Bud sites forming. Weird weather we've been having and temps in the box jumped up into the 90's. That being said I went ahead and made the switch to LED. Wish I would have switched sooner. Temps fell almost 20F. Sure some has to so with the outside temps dropping back down but this thing runs so cool. Great light penetration but not sure if the intensity is enough. Time will tell. She pretty much stopped eating and drinking. I read that prior to flowering they will slow down overall uptake and slow down growth as well. I don't quite remember that from my last grow but I do remember there being a huge flowering stretch. I'm switching over to bloom nutes next week after a flush so hopefully she'll get the nutes she needs/wants.

Darkmanx Looking good. Growing good. A little disappointed by the lack of smell but also relieved a little. As long as it medicates it will be a success. No issues at all. Upgraded the 80W LED to 120W LED. Haven't metered the 120W yet but the 80W was reading 15.5klux at the canopy. Running 100% strength nutes and she loves it. No brown tips ,no rot , and no erratic pH or temps. What a difference the second grow has made.

Darkmanx Well...thought she was done stretching and man was I wrong. Hey at least now I know for next time. I couldn't find any detailed grows from this mix so didn't know exactly what to expect. Now that I know shes a late bloomer I can keep the canopy lower next round. All in all everything is good. Drinking a gallon a day. When solution drops below 1200ppm I add a gallon of nutes. Starting to thicken up and I've seen some calyx forming. I'm keeping a close watch with her being so close to the light. Luckily this light runs really cool and no light burn or stress. Slightly stressed. The edges on the very closest curled up slightly. And a few leaves are lightening in contrast.

Darkmanx chugging along. not much else to say. Drinking water and nutes like crazy. Stretch seems to finally be over. Late stretch for sure. I can only smell her when the box is open. Not real strong and def not cannabis smell. Really fruity and smooth. I must admit I do miss the slap you in the face dank smell I had last grow.

Darkmanx Pistils crazy and buds fattening up. I don't smell a hint of anything until I crack open the door to the cabinet and then bam! A face full of blueberry. Mmmmmm. Still miss the traditional dank smell, that skunk. When I start to move colas around the smell gets stronger and then I get it on my hands and I feel like the arm pit chick from SNL. Can't stop sniffing my fingers. Lol. Hoping you start a flush next week. Some pistils are brown but not nearly enough. Trichomes are still tiny and clear as well. The waiting game in knowing a harvest is right around the corner but you still have to wait. The agony! Woke up next morning and she drank up the entire solution. I mixed up a fresh dose of 6.2 pH'd CaliMagic And SugarDaddy. I read CalMag uptake is more efficient in the upper scale of Hydro pH range(Correct me if I'm wrong) so I adjusted pH accordingly. Here on out I'll feed nothing but sugar and Cal-I-Mag and let pH hover around 6.2-6.5. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Darkmanx Chopped a couple Buds that we're getting burnt up. There's a couple more in the back as well but that's what happens when you outgrow the growing space. Next one I'll have to focus more on LST post flower. I'm gonna back down to the 80w LED to finish the grow because the 200 was good until this past week. Im pretty sure I'll be starting flush next week but who knows. This is only grow 2. The future is bright.

Darkmanx Flushed twice with Florakleen. Now running RO with CaliMagic and Sugar daddy for a week, then flush RO and FK for a week. Not much to report. At this point I've just been planning next grow and evaluating this one. Gotta keep them below the light. Cheers Update: added a few more pics this morning.

Darkmanx First part of flush done. Fed just SugarDaddy and CaliMagic. pH has been drifting from 6.5 to 4.5. Not sure exactly why it is drifting so much. My best guess is she's drinking some nutes up leaving others that are more acidic... Sugar leaves are starting to lose their green and turning slightly crisp. Buds are getting full and sugar coated. Alot of the sugars are spilling over like snow on a mountain. Cut a cola which had all brown pistils as a test. From here on out I'll be flushing with fresh water daily. Last 3 days just RO. Maybe a one week maybe a two week. The plant still has a lot of green leaves so she can feed herself until she's ready for harvest. At least I know it's a clean plant. Can't really smell much until I give her a shake and then she shares her scent. Deep inhale makes my day. I've been making plans to lower my screen a few inches to assist in keeping a low canopy. Other than outgrowing my space this strain has been great. Easy and not picky.

Darkmanx pH'd RO all week. Nothing more nothing less. Chopped a burnt up cola in the back. After a few days drying I finished the trim. The bleached color actually went away. Weird. This morning I opened up the closet for air like I do everyday. Smelled cat piss smell. I looked all over goolge for an answer and so many forum people swore it was the strain called catpiss. Last week I was reading an "article " from a long time grower and he mentioned the pH around harvest time effecting the smell. If a plant isn't getting the right uptake it will leave behind salts and create a foul cat piss smell. I added some water and pH up and the smell went away. Hmmm. Guess it wasn't the infamous cat piss weed. Fell free to chime in.

Darkmanx If you're going to grow this watch out for the late push. That's really what got me. An experienced grower would have been ready I'm assuming. Other than that it was easy. She out up with low rh. High rh. High temp. Low temps.
