Bashgrowsitall1989 Week 1 of the Fast Buds Skitzzles, my new light is showing great things as my plants previously weren't this size or showing shape by week 2, let alone on the 7th day since they have been in soil, pretty good in my opinion. The new 480w Led is doing the work keeping temps at a much nicer level and also the PAR the light is putting out is so Mich stronger due too the SamsungLed Tech! 1008 of them in thier giving off white led light spectrum and 450 red epistar. Stay tuned too watch this - I've seen and heard and even from my last grow, realised this light is far superior too what I had. For £333 delivered and import tax paid you cannot go wrong, this matches £1000+ lights easily and also will easily create the same power and output as a 600w HPS but with less heat production!

Bashgrowsitall1989 Week 2 commence, this is day 16. I have had a slight mishap with the Skittzles - my osilating fan fell over as I did my tent up, super cropping the head of the Skitz, I tried too repair it but it was too far gone, I ended up chopping the top and making the beat out of a bad situation.
She very quickly recovered, doesnt even seem too have bothered her and now the 2 outer nodes that were growing below have taken centre stage making me think I should get two nice fat colas in the centre. I've always been scared too Super crop but this time it was out of my hands, let the experiment commence.
Running my 480w Led on 2/3 strength and they are loving it.
New fabric pots seem too be working great too, much more air too the roots
12cm today, so 7cm growth in a week, 1cm per day. I'm loving the growth rate this time round with much better environment conditions and a much better PAR rating coming out of my light.
Have a great day and get to growing

Bashgrowsitall1989 Day 23 / 24 - Zkittlez from FastBuds .. after is getting super cropped last week it has recovered very well, the lower branches that have bow taken centre stage are thickening and hardening up.
They have doubled in size in 7 days. 24cm as of today, some defoliation was done as thier was some massive leaves covering potential bud sites, so we have uncovered them and given them slight LST by widening the branches so the extra light could come in.
Still using minimal nutes, 1.75ml of bio grow per L, 1ml of Calmag per L.
Everything in the tent is going very well this time round - much better environment than last time.
Keep updated and Happy growing

Bashgrowsitall1989 Week 4, Day 34 - The Zkittlez from Fastbuds is doing really well, a little shorter at 35cm compared too the others, but that's purely due too the main lining that I have done. Defoliation on this one has been incredible, so many leaves and such tight structure. This plant looks like its pre flower stretching now and should turn out great!

Bashgrowsitall1989 Day 41, End of week 5 - Currently measuring in at 37.5cm on one side cola and 32cm on the other, the whole canopy is at about 30cm, maybe will stretch abit further than this probably too 50cm, but I'll have a much more clean canopy from this main lining of the plant that I have done. We have about 25 bud sites all in full light. Looks like a heavy yielder Imo.
Happy Growing

Bashgrowsitall1989 Day 49 - I wanted too do around abouts the same day as I did on my previous grow so I could compare sizes of plants. The Zkittlez is measuring in at 40cm. The plant is showing a nice level canopy where I mainline it.but may have lost some height due too it being done so early. Lesson learnt - secure the fan better. I have mostly fed in PHd water and only really fed nutes when I have thought has been bare necessity. The plants seems too be doing fine without me pumping it full every other feed, all the bud sites are starting too thicken up and all the lower flowers are doing the same. Sweet smelling csndy like tones coming off of this I really cant wait for a dry product too smoke. Nothing obscure too report - 4 5 weeks left around 30 days odd. We will see.

Bashgrowsitall1989 Week 8, missing week 7 due too being busy, this plant really has fattened up so much, topping this from the beginning with the fan by accident has really given me some crazy results ! Smell is lovely, the only dislike about this plant is how leafy it actually is! Crazy!

Bashgrowsitall1989 Week 9, 69 days and the plant came down last night, harvest report will be done when the dry down and cure is on it's way, this plant has yielded 250g wet, a fair bit more than my other plants, I've definitely seen the difference in topping with yield, sacrificing a main cola too get side branches that weigh 51g wet! All in all I've loved growing this short stumpy little thing. Happy growing
Buds tasted lovely, fairly Candy like but not quite the Zkittlez flavour we all know and love. This wasnt as strong as the Glueberry OG I cropped the week before. Nice flavour, less high, but definitely a strain worth trying.

Bashgrowsitall1989 Overall grow was good but unfortunately I dont think I saw the full potential as my fan did fall on this in week 2 snapping the top off just after the 2nd node, if it had happened slightly later it might not have been such a problem but I'm still happy with what I produced.
How aggressively to you defoliate? I had some bud rod on one of mine I think it was to close to the media lost half of the bud. do you find that autos need this done more because of the short nature of the plant? let me know. grow looks good sir.
@DrewbieDoobieNoobie, I defoliate really heavy further into the grow I go, too me those big fans leaves that arent near the top are wasted energy, nutes and water being pumped too these, removing alot of these as u go forces kore upwards growth imo, the Zkittlez this time has stayed short as I got cut at the base of the first node by my circulating fan, so I decided too keep it but main line it, with one node its grown 40cm 5 colas all similar size and thickness si I dont think it will be a waste. Aggressive defoliation also helps lower bud sites get that light through the plant so everything thickens up around the same time. Dont be afraid too chop the top off an auto and let them bottom thicken out more, I've done this and doubled my crop.
@Germano, It wasnt in full flower, it was still in the pre flower stretch and too me, that's still part of veg because its getting taller and wider still. When upwards growth stops and she concentrates on buds, that's flowering. What do you mean I've missed weeks? I've missed one cos i was sick last week
@Bashgrowsitall1989, i hope you got well now , i meant when they sell you seeds and says 8 to 9 weeks Fllowering they are counting from the start of the pre-flowering stage
