SosdogAndMissMuffet First signs of flowering! One of the plants seems to be distinguishing itself from the others. Growing larger, less bushy and no signs of pistules.

SosdogAndMissMuffet Thought maybe the far left plant was a different strain. CKS said it’s a different phenotype. Growing much larger, auto flowered a week later, darker broader leaves.

SosdogAndMissMuffet Plants still growing. Each one starting to differentiate in size and shape. Just learning about defoliation and LST. Thinking of trying one or the other on one to test it out. Getting excited. Weather has been crap for 5 days. Want that sun back! July 18th - measured the plants. Weather still mixed bag.

SosdogAndMissMuffet Bad weather for 7 days. Finally broke. Hope the sun stays! All three plants def unique in their shape. Smallest has a lot of red hairs. Other two have none. The middle one seems like it might have the largest yield in the end. We’ll have to wait and see!

SosdogAndMissMuffet The biggest plant has had sad looking sun leaves for a week or so. Nothing has changed as far as watering or food is concerned. Kind of want to cut them off an open it up. Suggestions welcome. Other two plants are bombing along. Couple more weeks.

SosdogAndMissMuffet We had to leave to go camping. We packed up two out of three of the ladies that looked further advanced and hit the road in the RV. Man does it stick. Smells like we’re driving around in a grow op, Breaking Bad style....oh wait, we are. First campsite had killer south facing sun! Great for the plants. Our second Rv site is an old timers Rv park. We’re scared to let anyone see the plants. Neighbors are really close. So we’ve got them hidden behind a floor mat. Not getting much sun which is a total bummer but better than getting in trouble. They’re getting close. Hope to stretch it another week so we can harvest at home.

SosdogAndMissMuffet Still on holiday. Plants are super close to being ready. Trichomes are cloudy with only 2 or 3 visible Amber ones. I spotted some sort of infestation in the small one today. Can anyone look at the pics and let me know what they think? Any remedies for this late stage of flowering? Planning to convert it all into CBD tincture. Thanks in advance.

Just noticed that we have small gnat like creatures on our plant. They inhabit the leaves on the top 1/4 of the plant. We plant to harvest in a week or so. Intend to make Cbd tincture with the flowers. Any help i.d.ing these creatures and how to combat them would be appreciated.

To late to do anything I would say. But for next time use neem oil through your grow or something similar just for a preventative

For sure looks like spider mites dude!! 🕷️😱I've never had them so I wouldn't know how to handle it this late in flower? So sorry mate, i would probably trim the affected areas off and harvest sooner than later because they're going to keep reproducing right?

Hey there you have a pretty bad case of aphids and it is a bad time to try to treat it since you are close to harvest. I use ladybugs to kill off aphids and most other pests. It will obviously take time to get them and a few days for them to kill the bugs. I wouldnt use insecticide soaps and oils this late. Since you are making a tincture you can use a water hose to wash most of them off but it wont get rid of all of them and can damage some of your trichomes. I would personally either order the ladybugs if you can get them fast or just harvest the plant. Wish I had a quick fix solution for you but pests are harder to treat in flower.

My first grow. Seemed super resilient. We had to move them a lot on a camping trip and they survived great. Haven’t finished curing yet so the smoke report will come later.

Hey how did this turn out for you??
SosdogAndMissMuffet
SosdogAndMissMuffet commented6y ago
@SAC87, one plant had them pretty bad. We were fighting with hydrogen peroxide spray. Not too sure if it worked. We ended up harvesting. And then dipping the bugs in a wash. After drying you could still see the bugs. We cured and have since made oil out of it. Aphids are the protein I guess. Other plants unaffected. Keeping a much closer eye on round 2 and 3

@SosdogAndMissMuffet, I didn’t have the greatest run either. Between the 4 plants I have 3 dozen seeds and had aphids haha. Might have to experiment with the seeds. I’d suggest the end all concentrate. It killed my aphids and will use a light mix as a preventative next year. It was hard on the fan leaves tho in the ratio I did. Anyway some is better than none 👍🏻

Sorry to see that. Hope you figure it out; I've been lucky but super paranoid about something like that. Wondering how your pinks trip went. Peace, Sink

I just found a bunch on my plants last week, 1 week from harvest 👎. I sprayed mine in a different spot than where I grow with the hose to blast off those dirty _____. Most are gone, I have been checking at least once a day and crushing loners and removing infested leaves. I’ve been trying to find out if they’ll leave once the plant is dry and there’s no juice for them to feed on. If not I’ll do a bit of bud wash even tho it reduces potency a bit or make it into some hash. Good luck and I’d suggest preemptively Treat your indoor plants so you’re not in this mess inside too. Past experience 🤦‍♂️
the end.
