Short_N_stockY Soaked seeds in water overnight. Put in soil about an inch deep, lightly covered with soil and 24 hours later we have seedlings marking the beginning of this diary. Misting the seedlings a few times a day to keep humidity up. Seems like they are happy finishing up week 1. This upcoming week I'll be introducing Real Growers Recharge to the feed 👍

Short_N_stockY Week 2 - Maintaining light distance as they grow. Just added Real Growers Recharge to the water. Looks like the ladies are happy. I'm still debating on what type of training I should do... LST or SCROG. I miss using my screen but not sure how much time in veg I'll have.

What is your opinion on doing a SCROG on autos? Should I do it???

nah i had mediocre results with 90° bends, so it really depends on how extreme you want your scrog to be . I would really avoid SCROG, but LST is like, absolutely necessary for those yields, so i would "do the usual" more than 90* bend and would rather have pickets for plant trainors. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Short_N_stockY Welcome to the week 3 update of the FastBuds Zkittles. By popular advice, I decided to top and LST these ladies. LST'd at the end of this week and removed fan leaves. I kinda got carried away with the training but I was in the zone and it felt right doing it. We'll see how they turn out. Plant 1 & 3 have 2 sets of nodes and #2 have 3 sets. They also received a good dose of nutrients and I will adjust as they go into flower. See you next week for the next update! I expect them to recover from the training and get bushy.

Short_N_stockY Welcome to week 4 of the FastBuds Zkittles. Last week the ladies received some LST after being topped. This week we made some adjustments to maintain a level canopy. Looks like they are responding well after the extensive training and showing new growth. Flowering has also began, which gave me enough time to be satisfied with their training. We'll see how much they stretch over the next few weeks. Enjoy the pictures!

Short_N_stockY Week 5 - Finished LST and did a defoliating session early this week. Seems like they responded well and getting back to being bushy. I expect to do another session sometime in the upcoming week. Same feeding as last week but will be tapering off the Fox Farms Grow Big to reduce Nitrogen.

Short_N_stockY Changed feed by getting rig of Fox Farms Grow Big to reduce Nitrogen. The ladies on average grew 4 inches from last week, Buds are stacking up and looking good. Some defoliation throughout the week but nothing major. Started to see a few Thrips on the fan leaves which came from my other tent. Purchased 5 million Nematodes Sf and was able to treat them a couple of days ago. We'll see in a couple of week if they work. Other than the Thrips, everything seems to be doing well. The ladies are going through flowering stretch and I expect them to keep going for another week. Then the buds should start fattening up 👍

Short_N_stockY Stretch has slowed down, height grew 2 inches average on all plants from last week. They should be done and start focusing on fattening up those buds. Did a little bit more defoliating but that should be the last of it. Slight change in nutrients for the upcoming week by reducing Tiger Bloom.

Short_N_stockY Nothing much to report this week... Moving forward will be plain ph'd water until harvest. Pistils are showing their colors and buds are continuing to stack up. Need to keep an eye on trichome color. Harvest time will soon to come. See you on the next update!

Short_N_stockY Welcome to week 9 update on the FastBuds Zkittlez. Bud development and trichome production is on point this week. The end is near and flushing has begun. Plain ph'd water until harvest. Trichomes are mostly milky but no signs of amber. Pistils showing true colors and fan leaves already fading. Might have to chop them down this week.

Short_N_stockY Another week of flowering logged....I though they would be chopped down this week but it looks like they need a little bit more time to ripen. Amber trichomes are showing on sugar leaves but buds are all milky. Keeping them hydrated with ph'd water with a splash of blackstrap molasses 😉 Next update will be harvest 👍

Short_N_stockY Another harvest on the books! Lesson learned, treat thrips with nematodes at first sign of infestation. Good thing I caught it early enough to control and get rid of the thrips. Yield isn't as great as other photoperiods I've grown with the same setup but that was already expected. On to the next grow, see you soon!

@MONK_LED, they’re pretty awesome. Autos seem to be pretty popular nowadays.
