BOTAN1ST All 6 seeds have germinated, 4 were out after just one day, the other 2 took 2 days longer. 100% germination rate. Awesome! We put them into Root Riots from Growth Technology. We're excited about the Hazys 👍
BOTAN1ST We should have repotted them a bit earlier. Due to the delayed repotting, they are now a bit smaller than they should have been. But they will catch up on that :) The light cycle has been changed to 12/12 so the plants stay small since they will bloom a bit longer. It's a test, especially the Nevill's Haze, which has a 16-week flowering period, shouldn't get too huge. We're curious to see how it turns out.

BOTAN1ST This is the first week since switching to a 12/12 light cycle. So far, no flowers have appeared, which is completely normal and will likely take a few more days to show up. The plants are thriving in their 3.5L containers and are growing quickly. If we had transplanted a bit earlier, they would probably be a bit further along by now. However, since these are Sativas, it's not a big issue. In fact, this might even help keep them a little smaller, which could be beneficial in the long run 😇

BOTAN1ST We’re now in the second week of flowering. The light cycle has been reduced to 9 hours, with 30 minutes of simulated sunrise and sunset to ease the transition for the plants. In this grow, we’re experimenting with shorter light durations, since we’re working with vigorous Sativas. The goal is to help control their height and encourage more compact growth. So far, they’re responding well to the changes and are looking healthy 🌿💡
Starting from day 23, additional blue light with a wavelength of 440 nm will be used to slightly reduce the height.
We’ll probably top the Superlicious Sativa and the Nevills Haze. The Superlicious is currently growing the fastest, which might suggest it’s the "Diamond" pheno. As for the Nevills, it’s already a long bloomer (about 16 weeks), so shortening it a bit shouldn’t be an issue.
