RonnyDonJon Most of these are being grown from clone as I had to ditch the last run I started, but saved the genetics via cloning. Only the ORNG3 is from seed this time around.
30 gallon container: GRAN2 on left. LUM1 on right.
Earthbox: ORNG1 in back. ORNG3 in front.
5gal: GUZZ
I had a pack of guzzlerz from which either none of the seeds popped or the seedlings never came up. HSC allowed me to replace that pack with the Orange cream pop (ORNG1 & ORNG3). I had one last guzzlerz (GUZZ) seed left and this one popped and produced a healthy seedling. Go figure...
RonnyDonJon GUZZ and ORNG3 starting to show magnesium deficiency. I've done quite a few runs in these containers no till. I will be emptying it out and completely reamending before next run.
Going to foliar spray with a magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) mixture in order to get through this run.

RonnyDonJon Top dressed all containers with amendments and earth worm castings this week.
Took cuttings for clones of ORNG3 and ORNG1 as well.

RonnyDonJon Made compost tea this week.
Been taking an hour off of 'lights on' each day. Will be flipping to 12/12 this coming week.
Foliar sprayed with Epsom again also.
RonnyDonJon First week of flower. Stretch has already set in due to the slow time change into flower rather than a hard flip to 12/12.

RonnyDonJon End of second week of flower.
Defoliated heavily this week to reduce leaf mass, promote air movement, and lower humidity from transpiration.
The Earthbox is shorter than the rest of the containers and the plants in that container also didn't stretch as much. Put a few boards under the wheels of the Earthbox to lift it up about 6"-7".
RonnyDonJon End of fourth week of flower. Coming along nicely.
Put a thin layer of coconut butter on the base of the plants to prevent any possible pests from crawling up the stalk. Had a bunch of moths in the tent this run. I think they're just normal clothes moths, so they shouldn't pose a risk, but I didn't want to take any chances.

RonnyDonJon End of fifth week of flower. GUZZ seems to be fading early. Likely due to being in the 5 gallon (smaller than the rest) container.

RonnyDonJon End of sixth week of flower. Everything is bulking up. Both Earthbox and 5gal container have finally slowed down on water consumption. I cut another hour off of 'lights on' as plants are getting ready to start dying. Trying to encourage them to do so.
LUM1 and GRAN2 smell as expected from previous runs. LUM1-gassy fruit. GRAN2-pineapple grape.
Both ORNG plants smell amazingly like orange, but I think ORNG1 is going to be my favorite of the two. GUZZ smells kushy.

Trics are looking very good. Seems like this run is going to end sooner than usual. Maybe one more week left.

RonnyDonJon End of eighth week of flower.
Going to harvest in a few days. Definitely earlier than last run - 60 days of flower (plus the "wind down" time prior to 12/12).
Will post pictures of the nugs post-harvest after they're dried and trimmed up a bit.
RonnyDonJon Pictures from before chop and after dry/trim of the GUZZ.
This plant liked to grow. Buds are rock hard and very frosted. Has a earthy vanilla creamy sort of flavor. Reminds be of old bubba Kush. Wish it had a bit more funk gas kush to it, but at the the of the day I'm just glad I got one of the GUZZ seeds to grow after all.
RonnyDonJon Pictures from before harvest and after dry/trim of the GRAN2.
This was a small plant stuck in the back corner of the 30gal container. The LUM1 and GUZZ both encroached on it's space. Still, the plant produced luscious buds. Was great watching them bulk up. Even though it didn't produce a lot because it was a smaller spindly plant, the 39gal really allows enough soil space and soil life for even cramped plants to pump out great buds.
Stanks like over ripe pineapple with maybe a slight grape scent, but heavily and mainly pineapple. Humboldt's ability to create such distinct smells and flavors is amazing.
RonnyDonJon Pictures from before harvest and after dry/trim of LUM1.
This plant makes my favorite buds of all time. Delicious, chunky, saves well, and the plant loves to grow no matter what you throw at it. I've grown it in all of the container sizes and types and it's amazing every time.
The plant would have been gigantic if it had the 30gal container to itself. Going to try a run with one or two LUM1 by themselves in the 30gal. Should be great. This one could definitely go longer too - thinking of running a whole tent with only LUM1 to see how long it wants to go without others influencing chop date.
Gassy, fruity in a very similar flavor to juicy fruit gum, funky. Definitely my favorite genetics I've found. Keep multiple mothers to preserve the line just in case. Never want to lose this one.
RonnyDonJon Pictures from before harvest and after dry/trim of the ORNG1 & ORNG3.
ORNG1 is the rear plant in the Earthbox. Ended up having more weight to it that I originally thought. Super sticky buds on ORNG1 that smell almost nauseatingly sweetly orange. ORNG3 is also crazy orange, but is extremely greasy rather than sticky. It's absolutely amazing what Humboldt manages to do with their flavors.
