Vio_La_Grow It's been two years since my last grow. Just picked up some new clones from the dispensary in Pacifica CA. Excited to grow this pink drink and grapes and green strain and they're looking pretty healthy from the get go. I think the pink drink looks like it's a little more leafy and some pretty big green leaves. Had to clean up the tent a decent bit to get this one going but I'm excited for what's to come stay tuned

Week 2. Vegetation

Vio_La_Grow Start of Week 2 and it looks like the pink drink is adapting really well with some really big fan leaves a little bit lighter and tint green than the grapes and cream strain. I could tell that there is a little bit less stress here and I'm going off pure tap water at a 5.6 pH level. I think the aeration is pretty good but I'm hoping that they grow bigger roots in the near future but looking pretty strong in growth I think the pink drink should be the bigger plant

Vio_La_Grow Week 3 and we're going pretty strong right now with the pink drink generating big fan leaves but the grapes and cream is developing a really strong green color that can show the health of the plant. We started implementing some techniques of low strength training as well as filming the top. Unfortunately I have to go away for a few weeks so hopefully my buckets are able to hold off after I top them off but the roots are growing really fast so I'm kind of worried but we'll see.

Week 5. Vegetation

Vio_La_Grow Just coming back from doing some project work in the cabin. It required me to stay back and away for two weeks from the plants so the bucket was pretty much bone dry by the time I came back home. PH and PPM levels were so off that I don't even think it's really worth recording here but the yellowing of the leaves signifies some serious nitrogen deficiency and then pink drink was also starting to get some pretty bad root root rot problems. I'm going to have to flush these a few times and hoping for the best I didn't think that it was going to be this bad but I was gone for a while. Total of almost 2 1/2 weeks away.

Week 6. Vegetation

Vio_La_Grow So we're starting to see some pretty good recovery from the grapes and cream strain where the roots are developing perfectly fine and very white. Pink drink is suffering some pretty bad root rot and so I'm using hydrogen peroxide mixed with five parts of water in order to dilute it and try to kill off the root rot um almost riding pink drink off at this point because the root rot looks pretty progressed but we're going to do our best to try to get it back. Meanwhile grapes and cream is looking really good and getting extra bushy I'm starting to use some of the red clips in order to LST the plant and the branches are very healthy for grapes and cream.

Week 7. Vegetation

Vio_La_Grow Forgot to mention in the earlier journals that I was using San Francisco tap water for all the bucket water and I think it's been pretty effective for what it's worth I think as long as you flush it it should be all good but I do believe that with the tap water you're going to get more build up on some of the air stones which is not fun to clean. The grapes and cream plant is getting very leafy and I am LST clipping it so that it's growing horizontally versus the pink drink which is looking like it's having a little bit of recovery but still very pale in contrast to the other plant. Of note the humidity levels in San Francisco are somewhat elevated with the fog so it's reaching up to 65% humidity and I had to put in the dehumidifier and up the fans
Took some pictures of the roots and some of the root rot that I just cut off and removed because I think that was starting to still just recreate the problem after cleaning it up so I'm still spraying it with hydrogen peroxide and cutting off all the dead roots
Also ordered some new Amazon prime large air stones that make a world of a difference you could see it in one of the pictures where the bubbles are pretty big

Vio_La_Grow Plants are recovering nicely with the hydrogen peroxide that was used on the roots and we can start to see pink drink have more green in the leaves while grapes and cream continues to be very leafy with big fan leaves. Humidity levels were kind of elevated in the 60s so I had to turn up the fans. Going to keep on the same regimen to try to get the roots healthy on pink drink I almost wrote it off to dead but I think we can recover this one. PH levels at 5.8 and PPM around 300 to 400

Vio_La_Grow End of week 9 and we're looking really good with pink drink making a really strong recovery. I'm actually really surprised that pink drink was able to bounce back after being starved and that last couple weeks when I was gone. The fan leaves are starting to become humongous but it's the strength of the branches that feel still a little bit flimsy as it continues to recover. Going to consider defoliating and then in the next coming weeks as I can see the strength of grapes and cream is getting very leafy and starting to bump up the humidity levels. Worth noting that I'm going to go to about 10 weeks of vegetation because I just want pink drink to recover before I switch to flowering. Normally I do 8 weeks of vegetation just because I don't want the size of the plant to be too big for my tent

Vio_La_Grow End of week 10 and we're looking really good and very bushy. Both plants are going very strong with a very rich green coloration and the pink drink has made almost a full recovery with very big fan leaves indicating that it's time to switch to flowering. The plants are drinking almost like a gallon a day which is crazy. I'm starting to switch back from tap water to distilled water just because I actually found that it's easier loading up the water jug that's right next to my tent versus going back and forth to the sink. Although it will add to a little bit of cost but I think it's worth it because you actually get pure water that doesn't have any TDs in it. I started to do some defoliation towards the bottom of the plant just because I want to increase the air flow. This is definitely some of the biggest plants I've ever grown into this vegetative stage because they've just been booming and I think I got to give a lot of credit to the Super thrive

Vio_La_Grow End of week 11 which is the first week of flowering. Took a few clones from the grapes and cream plant just to do some testing in the humidity Dome. Grapes and cream continues to be extremely leafy and actually starting to develop some WPM which is an ideal so I got to get the humidity down more and I'm going to defoliate more so that there's less moisture next to that plant. Pink drink is booming in growth and getting really tall and stretchy. The plants are pretty much overfilling the tent this week. Going to have to defoliate significantly more. Using some diluted hydrogen peroxide to address the WPM issue and you want to spray them down a little bit during night time so that they don't get burned under the light

Vio_La_Grow End of week 12 which is the second week of flowering. Progress is looking really good and it's been very foggy in the Bay Area. Which is causing humidity levels to spike past 65%. I'm managing to get it down to 50s but it's not helping the WPM issue that I'm actively trying to solve but it's improving. Have continued to take some clones and also do steady defoliation from some of the leaves that are overlapping. Root growth on both plants are extremely strong with the grapes and cream roots pretty much taking up the whole bucket which is wild. Included some pictures at the bottom of the plant I think we're starting to see some hairs at the top of the plant as well.
@DiggityDank, Thanks man. Yeah it's tough sometimes when I'm travelling for stuff on 1-2 weeks but I'm glad she got back. Patience and strategy was key
