IslandTerps Strain: Ripper Seeds – BrainCake
Grow Type: Indoor
Pot Size: Solo Cup
Medium: Peat Moss & Perlite
Nutrient Line: Athena
Week 1 – Germination & Seedling Stage
The seed germinated in water within 24 hours. It was then transferred to a paper towel, misted, and placed in a lightly misted zip-lock bag kept in a dark, cool area. After another 24 hours, the taproot developed further and the seed was placed into soil in a solo cup.
This seedling popped a bit deformed, so I’m keeping an eye on her and hoping she pulls through. For now, she’s only getting plain water until she strengthens up.

Week 1 – Seedling / Root Development
This week, she’s growing slowly due to her condition, so she hasn’t been transplanted yet. She remains in her solo cup and is just receiving water and a light feed with Athena nutrients. Planning to transplant her into a 1-gallon pot next week once she’s looking stronger.

Week 2 Update
She’s bounced back nicely this week after her slow start and is now showing steady growth. No signs of deficiencies and she’s handling her feedings well. Stems are starting to strengthen, and she looks much healthier going into the next stage.
Feeding
500 ml Athena nutrient mix.
