Zeven_Xero_Phive Up-potted to 1 Gallon Pot, and used Mycorrhyzal Fungi to prevent shock. Also started feeding low dose PH Perfect Grow-Micro-Bloom to get her used to synthganic feeding. The soil alone could likely keep her fed for a long time, but the bottom watering/feeding with low dose synthetics ensures that there are no lacking nutrients that could cause toxicity and imbalance elsewhere.

Zeven_Xero_Phive Lots of growth this week, she's ready to top and start mainlining. This plant is going to be a stretcher once she's into flower, so I'm going to keep in veg for a least another few weeks until I can get her in a trellis and get each square filled with a top.

Zeven_Xero_Phive She's growing like there's no tomorrow, taking to the training like its a breeze. Incredibly healthy. I will give her some time to dense up a little before any more training. It's only a 2x2 tent she's in so I can't really go too crazy.

Zeven_Xero_Phive . End of Week 6, Day 42: Another week of topping, trimming and training are done, and I think that's all I need to do. I'll leave her alone now and let her veg out for a week or two, only removing leaves and/or stems if they're a problem. She's all limbs and few fingers for now, but that will change quickly. In a week she'll be all fingers.

Zeven_Xero_Phive - It's Wednesday, so that means it's haircut day. 😁 Not a moment too soon, she was getting shaggy really fast. Anyhow, she's in the bigger tent for the moment while I sort out seedlings in the smaller tent, but I'll move her back in another week or two once she's ready for the trellis.

I like the idea of bottomfeeding, and intend to use it myself, simply because, when using Mycorrhizae, that can fetch whatever the plant requires, even if it is at the bottom, and anything you add to your water, should in theory get filtered out in the lower parts of the soil, where most of the rootsystem is not, but Mycorrhizae can get to it. I blend the Mycorrhizae into the soil to get the full soil coverage from start. Plus you do not wash the soil nutients away.

@CanniGrow420, definitely. Ever since I switched to the self-watering bases it's made growing very hands off, all my time spent with plants is just trimming, training, admiring. I know exactly how much water the plants need, and a lot less guess work. It also bumps humidity up a little bit in the tent, which can be good or bad depending where you live and time of year. It also saves on soil medium as you don't need a huge pot to get big yields.

@Zeven_Xero_Phive, Did not notise the self-watering, i intend to do it manually, my plants are not getting any water before they are dry, cannot be automated, yet.
