Hiraeth Bloom Week 5 – Day 29
The grow is progressing well, with both strains looking healthy and vigorous, but with noticeable differences in development due to their distinct flowering timelines:
• Kong’s Krush:
Already showing heavy trichome production — very resinous and frosty at this stage. With a flowering time of 50–56 days, it’s clearly entering the final stretch, stacking nicely and maturing fast.
• 24K:
Just now beginning to develop its flowers, which is expected from this 10–11 week strain. Bud sites are forming well, but still in early bloom.
This difference in flowering speeds may present a challenge at harvest, especially when managing flush timing, humidity, and lighting for both strains.
General Notes:
Both plants are healthy, no visible deficiencies or signs of stress. Environment is stable, and feeding is being well-tolerated by both.

Hiraeth Day 36 – Week 6
What a week in the grow room! The 7 Kong’s Krush are way ahead of the game — they’re deep in ripening while my lone 24K Runtz is just starting to catch up. This week I pulled High Nutrients High Bloom A & B to give them a little nutrient deficit, getting them ready for flush next week. Planning 1–2 weeks of flush before harvest.
Kong’s Krush is a 50–56 day strain, so she’s right on time. The 24K won’t be 100% ready, but I’ll cut them all together so they can dry at the same time and I can start the next bloom run.
The smells are very high right now — 24K is pumping out that sweet orange aroma, and Kong’s Krush is giving me cinnamon mixed with banana. Opening the room door feels like walking into a dessert shop.

Hiraeth Day 43
The flush started on Day 40, and I’ll likely carry it through until Day 50–52, aligning with the expected harvest window for Kong’s Krush. The 7 Kong’s Krush girls are right on track – trichomes are clouding up nicely, and they’re clearly approaching harvest maturity.
On the other hand, my 24K Runtz is still lagging behind. Trichomes show it’s not fully ready yet, but since I need everything to dry together and reset the bloom space, I’ll harvest both strains on the same day. Lesson learned: mixing strains with different flowering timelines in the same run can complicate the schedule.
Smells are intense now – the Kong’s Krush carries a sweet banana-cinnamon vibe, while the 24K Runtz is pushing a strong, sharp orange scent. The room is really fragrant these days!

Hiraeth Day 50
Kong’s Krush (7 plants) and 24K Runtz (1 plant)
We’ve finally reached the last days of bloom!
During week 7, I alternated between plain water and a total flush solution, making sure to wash out all excess nutrients. Now, in week 8, the final phase begins:
• Today and tomorrow the plants will remain under their normal light cycle.
• After that, I’ll move them into 2–3 days of complete darkness to maximize stress at the end, enhancing resin production and terpenes before harvest.
Harvest plan:
Kong’s Krush is right on schedule, perfectly matching its estimated 50–56 day window. 24K Runtz, on the other hand, is not 100% mature yet (trichomes still show it), but due to the timing differences between strains, I’ll cut them together to dry and cure at the same time.
Aromas:
• Kong’s Krush → spicy sweet notes, with hints of cinnamon and banana
• 24K Runtz → powerful orange and citrus punch
Exciting to be so close to harvest — the next update will be the final cut! ✂️🌱
