Blueberry Muffin

Brandenbluete Ich hab den Clone von MannyT's Selection aus Österreich erhalten. Da mein erster Test-Run deutlich länger gebraucht hat als angegeben kam mein Zeitplan etwas durch einandern und die Blueberry Muffin musste sich die ersten 3 Wochen unter dem Blätterdach einer Lemon Skunk Auto begnügen. Zwischenzeitlich wurde sie in den 15L Endtopf von Rooties umgetopft und fünf Tage später getoppt. Die beiden LS sind in 3-7 Tagen endlich raus und die Blueberry Muffin kann dann die Liebe und Zuneigung kriegen die sie verdient

Brandenbluete English recap below Diese Woche war auf Arbeit und privat soviel zu tun, dass außer gießen nicht wirklich viel Zeit war... Die Verfärbungen/ Schadstellen sind weiter da, aber gefühlt nicht schnell progredient. Mal schauen wie es sich entwickelt. Morgen nochmal ein paar Blätter und Triebe entfernen und dann geht es in 2 Tagen in die Blüte. This is my second run and 4th plant over all, so please be kind :D I got a clone of blueberry muffin by Humboldt Seed Co select my MannyTs Selections out of Austria. Since I used whitelabel freebie seeds for my first run and ran in to a problem because they flowered 10-14 days longer than claimed. So in the first 2 weeks the clone had to be parked under the canopy of a different plant. Once she finally moved into her own tent she got stressed (perhaps a bit to much). With a topping and a lot of LST I managed to almost fill my 80*80cm tent and am excited to see her grow. Since I am still quite new I am not exactly sure what she is currently trying to tell me. I see some damage on a few leafs that I can't identify. I am observing them and sofar it is not spreading (fast). Tomorrow I will do another light defol+ lollipop and then send her into flower the day after. The stem rub is already hinting at the namesake fruit

Brandenbluete English below Puh die letzte Woche kann man wohl unter Fuck around and find out zusammen fassen. 1. Thripse: Nach 5+ Jahren mit 20+ Zimmerpflanzen habe ich es jetzt mit meinen Growzelten es geschafft mir Thripse einzufangen. Natürlich sind die Zelte betroffen. Also nach erster Panik und dann etwas Recherche hab ich mich entschieden einmalig ein ökologisches Insektizid zu versprühen und nach der angegebenen Verflüchtigungsperiode Nützlinge auszubringen. Seit dem habe ich mit Blau und Gelbtafeln versucht die Überlebenden zu erwischen und hab in den letzten 5 Tagen kein einzigen Thrips auf den Tafeln gefangen. Also hoffe ich mit einem blauen Auge davon gekommen zu sein und habe die Pflanze vor 2 Tagen in die Blüte geschickt. 2. pH: Nachdem ich mich mit den Verfärbungen an den Blattlättern zunehmend unwohl gefühlt habe entschloss ich mich die 100€+ für ein gutes pH/EC-Messgerät + Zubehör auszugeben. Und siehe da mit meinem Leitungswasser + Dünger komme ich bei 7,2-7,6 pH raus. Also ab jetzt pH- auf 5,8-6,4 Ansonsten sieht man der Pflanze schon den leichten Strech an und auch in den Blattachseln sieht man die beginnende Blüte. Ich hoffe und freue mich auf eine entspanntere Blütephase 😅 kleiner Spoiler für einen kommenden Run: Morgen sollen die Autopots kommen 😍 ENGLISH This past week? Let’s just say it was a classic case of "f** around and find out."* 😅 1. Thrips Invasion: After 5+ years of keeping over 20 houseplants pest-free, guess what? My grow tents finally got hit. Yup—thrips. Cue the panic. But after some deep diving, I went with an eco-friendly insecticide followed by beneficial insects once the safe window passed. Blue and yellow sticky traps have been working overtime since, and I haven’t seen a single thrip in 5 days. Fingers crossed we dodged a bullet 🤞 Sent the plant into flower 2 days ago! 2. pH Problems: Noticed some weird discoloration on the leaves and decided to invest in a proper pH/EC meter (goodbye, €100+ 💸). Turns out my tap water + nutes were landing at a wild 7.2–7.6 pH 😬 So from now on, I’ll be adjusting down to a proper 5.8–6.4 range. Despite the hiccups, the plant is stretching nicely and early flower sites are popping up in the nodes 🌸 Here’s hoping for a smoother flowering phase from here on out! Ich habe das Gefühl dass die Mängel und /oder Schädlingsschaden sich nicht weiter ausgebreitet haben. Auch auf den Blau und. Gelbfällen habe ich keine nennenswerten Befall feststellen können. Leider habe ich diese Woche den geänderten Wasserbedarf der Pflanze falsch eingeschätzt und erstmal kräftig Überwassert. Aber mittlerweile ist es wieder ausreichend rückgetrocknet. Ich freue mich auf den Run in Autopots ;D Ich freue mich über Input. --- The Blueberry Muffin is in bloom and slowly starting to stretch. I feel like the deficiencies and/or pest damage have not spread any further. I also couldn’t detect any significant infestation on the blue and yellow sticky traps. Unfortunately, this week I misjudged the plant’s changed water requirements and ended up overwatering quite a bit at first. But by now, it has dried back sufficiently. I’m looking forward to the run in Autopots ;D I’d be happy to get some input.

Brandenbluete English below Puh die Blueberry Muffin macht mir zunehmend Sorgen. Die positiven Punkte vorweg: ich kann weder auf den Blau/Geldfallen noch auf der Blattunterseiten Thripse oder andere Schädlinge entdecken. Auch die Blattverfärbungen des letzten Runs zeigen sich (wahrscheinlich dank pH Messung und pH Down) nicht mehr. Aber irgendwas ist an den Blättern. Für mich sieht es nach Frasspuren von Schädlingen aus. Ich freue mich überjeden Input! Ansonsten läuft sie Blüte bisher gut und in ein paar Tagen steht das erste defoliaten an Tag 21 an. --- Phew, the Blueberry Muffin is increasingly worrying me. The positive points first: I can’t find any thrips or other pests on the sticky traps or the undersides of the leaves. The leaf discolorations from the last run also aren’t showing up anymore (probably thanks to pH measuring and pH Down). But there’s definitely something going on with the leaves. To me, it looks like feeding damage from pests. I’d appreciate any input! Otherwise, the flowering is going well so far, and in a few days the first defoliation at day 21 is coming up.

Brandenbluete Ich habe das Gefühl durch die Nutzlinge den Befall langsam unter Kontrolle zu kriegen. Ansonsten steht die Pflanze schön da und beginnt langsam ein eigenes Aroma zu entwickeln. Die Entlaubung hat sie gut überstanden und ich bin zufrieden mit der Licht-Ausbeute The beneficials I ordered last week seem to get the spider mites unter control. Other than that the plant looks fine to me and she is starting to develop her own aroma. She took great to defoliation and I am pleased with the amount of light coming through the canopy

Brandenbluete English below Diese verdammten Spinnenmilben!! Aufmerksame Leser haben vielleicht bemerkt, das eine Woche übersprungen würde. Leider waren die letzten beiden Wochen auf Arbeit sehr hektisch und noch dazu war ich dass ganze Wochenende beruflich unterwegs. Also volles Vertrauen in die Nutzlinge und Augen zu und hoffen. Als ich heute endlich mal Zeit hatte das Zelt ordentlich anzuschauen war direkt klar, dass das Vertrauen nicht geklappt hat. Nicht nur die Blätter hatte Bissspuren sondern auch die Buds sind voller Viecher. Uff ... fuck.... Und jetzt? "Regnen lassen" im Zelt und einfach Wasser sprühen? Alles einfrieren und waschen? Budwash nach ernte ? Oder Zelt samt Pflanze verbrennen? Ich weiß nicht so wirklich wie ich weiter mache und bin um jeden Tipp dankbar! ------ Damn spider mites!! Attentive readers may have noticed that I skipped a week. Unfortunately, the last two weeks at work were super hectic, and on top of that, I was away for the entire weekend on a business trip. So it was full trust in the beneficial insects — eyes closed and fingers crossed. When I finally had time today to properly check the tent, it was immediately clear that the trust didn’t pay off. Not only are the leaves showing bite marks, but the buds are full of bugs too. Ugh… fuck... So now what? “Make it rain” in the tent and just spray everything with water? Freeze and wash it all? Do a bud wash after harvest? Or just burn the whole tent with the plant inside? I honestly have no idea how to move forward from here and would really appreciate any tips!
