That's one of the things about growing indoors that can be slightly overlooked. at least with outdoor grows by the time its harvest, conditions, at least in my area are near perfect for drying and you could do it just about anywhere that's dark. I think its something that should be factored in and expressed more by the industry. I'm lucky to had a decent sized shed I can utilize with window AC, portable heater, Humidifier and dehumidifier, I can dial it in near perfect.60 is slightly too cold in my opiion. 65 yeild great results too, even up into 70,but much high than that you really run the risk of loosing potency and flavor. The only problem is its my studio/main chilling area, and i have to endure the cold for 2 weeks straight. Add a staggered harvest and i may as well move to Antarctica. So I feel the pain. I'm thinking about building a dedicated drying shed or soothing down the road. the box is not a terrible idea. May people hang dry then cure in paper bags. as long as buds are not touching sides of box and you have gentle airflow. I kind of like drying in my spare tents when available for keeping the buds clean from dust and dirt and things. I've never had mold be an issue drying in my tents, but i could see how it cold cause some issues.
