KodamaFarma This is my second Run, my First went pretty good for my First time, but i wanna do some Things better then in my Last Grow. First of all, ive got a good humidifier, so i can control the vpd way better. This Run i only have autoflowers, so i can give them 18 hours of light throughout. And i wanna Check the ph-level of my water this Run.
Both seeds came Out in the sme day which was great News for me, i only had those 2 left.
I did Put them in the soil directly and they came Out Like 2 days later, pretty fast :)
Have fun

KodamaFarma This week went nice, the leaves we're Growing pretty good.
I started giving nutrients this week.
I watered Like 2 times a day for 200ml per plant, so that the surface wont dry out too much.

KodamaFarma This week went OK.
Both my plants went into flower late this week, but i think they are bit small when it comes to space.
This week i still have root complex and Bio Grow.
My humidifier broke and WE Had some days with 30°C+ and humidity at Like 40%, so yeah IT was pretty Bad.

KodamaFarma This week the right plant did Stretch to 55cm and stoped there. She is fully developing the buds now.
My other plant Just grew outwards Not upwards, i Had some worries that she doesnt Grow in height anymore, but late this week she began to Stretch. Wondering If i should Lollipop the bushy plant.
I watered every 2 days for 0,75L with hesi Bio bloom (5ml/L).

KodamaFarma This week the stretching ended for 1 plant, so the buds are growing in size now.
I had/have some issues related to light and nutrients, so i increased the distance from light to plant to 40cm and set the lamp to 90%.
I decreased the nutrients from 950ppm to 750ppm and give it with every watering (which is like 1L every 2-3 Days).
The cola is swelling pretty good, im excited to see the final cola and how long and big the headbud will be.
My other plant went into a good stretch this week, which i hoped for, because i thought it wouldnt stretch anymore.
I think she just went a week later into flowering.
So 1 of my plants grew really bushy and because its my second ever Run, indidnt have a phenotype Like that. Now im wondering If i should Lollipop, and when yes, how high should i go with the lollipopping.
Its Like the 2nd to 3rd week of Flowering.
I wouldn't take anything off if flower has already initiated. Plant is way smarter than we are and as soon as a leaf uses more energy than it produces the plant will begin to recycle the nutrients within the leaf then detach itself.
The less a leaf is performing photosynthesis the more it can perform cellular respiration. So even if you think it's not doing anything because the leaf is low. If it's not at photosynthetic capacity then it's still working at full respiratory functionality.
Photosynthesis although it captures all the carbon only 10% of a plants total energy is derived right there and then.
The other 90% is processed during cellular respiration.
If every leaf is at photosynthetic maximum it cannot perform any cellular respiration as each leaf has a limited oxidative capacity.
After weeks 4-5 flowering becomes less about rapid growth and more about dropping dli and cooling off them it's OK to remove a leaf or two as you go but first 4 week is all about energy and production. Mass removal of leaf is detrimental to that production.
3 days ago the Tips of the leaves, were Curling upwards and they still are Like that. Can this be a nutritional overflow? I meassured my EC and IT was at 1850 with the 5ml/L hesi Bio bloom.
I give nutrients with every watering. Should i reduce the nutrients a bit to like 4ml/L?
Hey 👋
I guess you have two issues here.
Firstly you are feeding too much. Most probably it’s nitrogen according to the color of your leaves. No visible burn so far, but too much nitrogen slows down your growth, so just reduce the grow fertilization.
Secon is the light. If your leaves curl upwards it’s most probably caused by lightstress. Just hang lights a little higher, or reduce the strength. It should be around 40cm above the top of your plant.
Hope this helps 👊🍀🖖
KodamaFarma I watered every 2 days with 1L of water per plant, i Set the EC to 750-800ppm and pH to 6,3. The leaves got pretty dark, so i regulated the nutrients from Like 950ppm to the 750-800ppm.
This week was pretty hot and dry aswell, i Had a daytime temperature of Like 30°C and nighttime Temp of 25°C every day, some days IT even went Up to 34°C. The humidity was around 40-50% which is kinda Low for the those temperatures. But i checked the plants and they looked Just fine.
Stretching has ended for both plants this week and both are bulking Up the buds now. Im really interested to see what difference it is for an autoflowers to Go from 12 to 18 Hrs of light everyday and getting the ph and EC right.
