DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 White Widow Germination Report | The Classics Return Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Series: Back to the Roots — 90s Legends Reborn Method: 11/13 from Seed | Soil | Experimental Tools Used: Cannakan, Aptus Holland (Regulator + Start Booster), Seedling Heat Mat (R.I.P) ⸻ The Genetics – A 90s Legend Revisited White Widow. Say the name, and it sends a nostalgic chill down your spine if you were around in the 90s. This is one of the true classics, a hybrid known for its frosty look and legendary high. Bred initially by Green House Seeds, and now cultivated by Zamnesia, this strain has stood the test of time. We’re not just germinating seeds here—we’re reviving memories. For germination, I used the Cannakan, a clean and easy germination chamber that allows for precision and clarity. Into it, I added plain water and labeled the laminate clearly: White Widow – Zamnesia. All three seeds germinated successfully within 48 hours, full marks to the genetics. I also added something special to the water: Aptus Holland Regulator – A silicon-based product that strengthens cell walls, improves nutrient uptake, and helps mitigate stress. Aptus Holland Start Booster – Root stimulator packed with humic acids and amino acids to kickstart enzymatic processes and early growth. Why? Because even at this stage, the foundation is everything. The right beginning sets the tone for the plant’s entire life. 🔥 The Heat Mat Incident Let’s be honest: not everything went smoothly. I used a seed heating mat from Amazon, and it turned into a bit of a disaster. I won’t be using it again. Lesson learned. The heat was inconsistent and most likely affected the balance. That batch had to go. But like a phoenix, we rose again. This time: no heating mat. Just patience, observation, and good water. 🌱 Once the seed cracked (within 48h), I gently moved them into the soil. And boom, less than 24 hours later, the first signs of life broke through the surface. She’s alive, she’s awake, and she’s already reaching for the light. Light Cycle: 11/13 From Seed – Experimental Run Here’s where it gets juicy. Instead of vegging under 18/6 or 20/4, we’re going full flower cycle from seed using a 11 hours ON / 13 hours OFF light schedule. This is my personal twist on the more common 12/12 from seed, inspired by SID and other long-flowering sativa growers. Why 11/13? Simulates tropical flowering cycles Encourages faster sexual expression Saves energy Potentially boosts resin and terp production A higher PPFD compensates for shorter light exposure This is my first time doing it, so expect raw, unfiltered feedback. For good or for bad, we’re documenting everything. This is just the beginning of a whole new Grow Series coming to YouTube. We’ll be walking through the entire process: Germination Strain reviews Nutrient choices Light strategies Daily and weekly updates Subscribe and follow the journey. It’s going to be unlike anything we’ve done before, deep dives, scientific breakdowns, personal takes. Think of it as a Grow Diary meets documentary. 🎬 💭 Final Thoughts for Germination Entry This marks the beginning of a special grow, not just technically but emotionally. A nod to the past, a step into the future. Thank you for following along. This diary will be updated regularly as we move into seedling and vegetative stages. If you’re doing your own White Widow revival—or trying 12/12 from seed—feel free to drop your tips, notes, or just share the vibes. See you on the next update! Love, light, and leaves. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 White Widow – Week 1 | Transplant Day & Root Royalty Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Light Schedule: 11/13 (Flower from Seed Style) Lighting: Fog Light – Black Series Pot: 11L Zamnesia Fabric Pot Feeding: Aptus Regulator + Start Booster (1ml/L) ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap – If You’ve Been Following… As shared in the germination report, we originally started this grow with three seeds. But due to a faulty, uneven heat mat, we lost all three. We came back with one final White Widow seed, and she delivered. Germinated in the Cannakan with Regulator + Start Booster, she popped and took off with energy. A solo survivor with the heart of a champion. ⸻ 🌿 This Week’s Focus – Transplant Time & Root Support This week was all about giving her the right home to thrive. We made the decision to transplant her straight into the final 11-liter Zamnesia fabric pot, no upsizing, no stress. A direct move into her forever container, where she’ll grow, flower, and finish. Why: • Eliminate transplant shock later • Encourage early root development in full volume • Let the microbial life settle and build stability from day one • One chance, one queen—she deserves the best ⸻ Soil Mix & Nutrient Support The soil was prepped with a focused super soil recipe using select Aptus Holland amendments: Transplant Mix: • Super soil base • Aptus Mycor-Mix – to inoculate roots with mycorrhizae • Aptus Micro-Mix – for beneficial bacteria and biological root balance • Aptus Substrate Buffer Powder – to stabilize pH and nutrient interactions We mixed everything thoroughly, ensuring full even coverage before planting. ⸻ 💧 Gentle Top Watering – No Rush, No Runoff After transplant, we switched to gentle top watering, not bottom watering as previously stated. Each watering is done slowly and with care, just enough to moisten the top third of the pot and encourage roots to reach downward on their own. We’re not flooding the soil or chasing runoff, we’re simply letting the plant guide the rhythm. Feeding this week: • Aptus Regulator (1ml/L) – for resilience, structure, and efficiency • Aptus Start Booster (1ml/L) – to support the roots and microbial life during this critical phase ⸻ 👀 Expectations: Realistic & Rooted Now under a consistent 11/13 light cycle, our girl is on a unique path, flowering from seed. What to Expect: • Strong, compact development • Early floral signs within weeks • Efficient energy use and tight internodes • A plant that’s focused from the start What Not to Expect: • Explosive veg growth • Wide bushy branching • Standard “veg-then-bloom” timelines She’s on her own custom cycle, and we’re documenting everything, first-hand. ⸻ 🌸 Final Words – Entry #2 This week was a turning point. We gave her space, gave her microbes, gave her nutrients—and let her take root, both in the pot and in this story. This isn’t just about growing weed, it’s about growing intentionally, with care, patience, and honesty. White Widow is settling in, and the best is yet to come. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 White Widow – Week 2 Veg | Feeding, Light & Rhythm Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Light Schedule: 11/13 (Flower from Seed Style) Lighting: Future of Grow – Black Series 600W Full Spectrum Pot: 11L Zamnesia Fabric Pot Medium: Super Soil + Aptus Amendments Water pH: 5.83 EC: 1.01 Water Temp: 18.05°C Room Temp: 27°C Humidity: 57.4% ⸻ 🌱 Rooting into Week 2 – Super Soil Meets Gentle Support Though we built a living super soil (inoculated with Aptus Mycor-Mix, Micro-Mix, and buffered), we understand that microbial activation and nutrient cycling takes time. So while the biology brews and the roots settle in, we’re providing light support through the wate, not to overload, but to assist. ⸻ 💧 This Week’s Feed Recipe – Balanced, Intentional We’re using Aptus Holland again, adjusting the ratios now that the roots are more active and responsive: • Regulator: 0.15 ml/L → for cell strength, stress defense & nutrient uptake • CalMag Boost: 0.25 ml/L → supporting LED-driven growth and structure • All-in-One Liquid: 1.0 ml/L → base nutrition (macro/micro in one) • Start Booster: 0.25 ml/L → stimulating roots & microbial synergy pH: Dialed in at 5.83, ideal for nutrient uptake in coco-heavy mixes or active soils EC: Light at 1.01 – gentle, non-burning Water temp: 18.05°C – optimal for oxygenation without shocking the roots We’re feeding carefully—not flooding, not starving, just staying in rhythm with her current needs. ⸻ 💡 Lighting Setup – Future of Grow, Black Series 600W We’re running the Black Series 600W Full Spectrum LED from Future of Grow. This unit delivers: • High-intensity full spectrum tailored for seed-to-harvest use • Uniform canopy coverage • Powerful deep-red and far-red outputs, great for flowering from seed • Fanless design = silent & efficient We’re aiming for a PPFD range of 250–400 μmol/m²/s during early veg, gradually increasing as the plant establishes her structure. Why this light? • She’s under 11/13, so we need to maximize daily light integral (DLI) during limited hours • We’re doing a flower-from-seed experiment, so spectrum and power consistency are crucial • Full control and even distribution helps prevent early stress ⸻ 🌀 Environment & Expectations – Rhythm Over Rush Temperature & humidity are dialed in for early vegetative balance: • 27°C ambient temp: perfect for vigorous photosynthesis • 57.4% RH: keeps VPD balanced without inviting mold • 11/13 light cycle: she’s not growing like a typical vegging plant, she’s prepping to flower, slowly and purposefully What to expect now: • Tight internodes • Steady root mass expansion • Signs of preflower formation within the next 1–2 weeks • Leaf structure adapting to this unique schedule ⸻ Final Thoughts – Entry #3 She may be alone, but she’s not lonely, this solo White Widow is being given every condition to thrive. We’re building her world with care: the light she loves, the nutrients she needs, and a cycle that encourages early blooming without stress. This is a dance between science and love, rhythm and reason. More to come soon, my dear growers. Thank you for following her path from seed, through setbacks, into sovereignty 🌱👑 #WhiteWidow #ZamnesiaSeeds #GrowDiaries #Week2Veg #FutureOfGrow #BlackSeries600W #AptusPowered #FlowerFromSeed #LEDGrow #11_13LightCycle #CannabisCommunity #OrganicTech 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 White Widow – Week 3 | Structure, Strength & Setup Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Light Schedule: 11/13 (Flower From Seed) Stage: Week 3 – Preflower (no signs yet) Structure: Compact, Healthy | Heading into 4th Node Feeding: Aptus Full Recipe Lighting: ThinkGrow Model One Bars + Future of Grow Black Series 600W Control: Full TrolMaster Ecosystem ⸻ Three Weeks In – Compact & Confident Here we are, Week 3, and White Widow is showing us her best early form. She’s: • Tight in internodal spacing • Vibrant in color and leaf health • Low & strong, with no stretching yet • Just pushing into her fourth node and still no signs of flowering, exactly what we’d hope in this phase, given our light cycle She’s not rushing—she’s setting her foundation. In an 11/13 light cycle, some might expect earlier preflower signs, but not all strains respond immediately. And honestly? I’m loving this slower, more intentional rhythm. She’s taking her time, and that usually means she’ll stack smart, not wild. ⸻ 💧 Feeding Routine – Gentle, Consistent Support Even though she’s rooted in a rich super soil blend, we’re continuing to assist her via the feed water with a light, targeted Aptus mix: Current Feed Recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml/L • Start Booster – 0.25 ml/L This isn’t about force-feeding, this is about helping the soil activate and harmonize, giving her what she needs before she starts asking for more. The mix keeps her cell structure strong, supports microbial life, and encourages consistent early root development. She’s loving it and it shows. ⸻ 💡 The Environment – Light & Movement This week, she’s been bouncing between two active grow zones, as we continue to refine the entire setup. It’s all managed within the TrolMaster ecosystem, offering precision control over both lighting and environment. She’s currently rotating between: • ThinkGrow Model One Bars – soft, powerful full-spectrum LED bars with excellent canopy penetration • Future of Grow Black Series 600W – full spectrum, deep reds for flowering intensity Both are synced and monitored through TrolMaster, giving us: • Consistent PPFD targets (250–400 µmol/m²/s for now) • Environmental tracking for temp, RH, and VPD • Freedom to adapt space as needed while the grow evolves 🎛️ Why this setup? Because we’re still dialing in the room and flexibility is everything. She’s adjusting beautifully to these shifts, showing no signs of stress. A real soldier. ⸻ 👀 What to Expect / What Not to Expect Expect: • More node development, maintaining compact shape • Flower pre-signs within the next 7–10 days • Slow, deliberate shift toward stretch (if she chooses to stretch at all) • Stronger feeding signals as roots fully colonize the pot Not to Expect (just yet): • Pistils or heavy flower behavior • Wild vertical growth • Deficiency signs (thanks to our balance and microbial boost) She’s exactly where she needs to be. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude & Shoutouts Huge thanks to the partners helping this journey become a reality: 🌱 Zamnesia Seeds – for delivering timeless classics like White Widow and keeping the legacy alive 🔧 Aptus Holland – for the precision nutrients that support both living soil and direct feeding 💡 ThinkGrow – for elegant, pro-level light bar systems that keep our canopy even and calm 🚀 Future of Grow – for the Black Series 600W, bringing serious intensity and bloom readiness 🧠 TrolMaster – for letting us control every detail, from light to leaf, with precision and peace of mind ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts – Week 3 This White Widow is more than just a plant, she’s a rebirth after a rough start, a solo performance, and now she’s writing her own pace into this grow. No rush. No shortcuts. Just care, balance, and a slow, steady climb toward bloom. We’re watching closely, learning daily, and adjusting with love. Thank you for walking this path with us. DogDoctorOfficial 🌱 White Widow – Week 4 Veg | No Rush, No Stress, Just Grace Genetics: White Widow (Zamnesia Seeds) Light Schedule: 11/13 (Flower From Seed) Stage: Week 4 – Still Veg Structure: Compact, Healthy, Now Branching Environment: 30°C | ~50% RH | ~2.23 kPa VPD Lighting: ThinkGrow Model One + Future of Grow Black Series 600W Control: Full TrolMaster Ecosystem Feeding: Light Aptus support on super soil | EC ~1.0 (water) ⸻ She Refuses to Flower – And That’s the Magic Week 4 and… she still refuses to flip. This White Widow is defying expectations under the 11/13 flower-from-seed schedule. No pistils. No stretch. Just calm, confident vegetative growth. She’s: • Compact, sitting around her 7th node • Beginning to branch out with grace • Showing no signs of transplant stress • Glowing with healthy green tones and calm energy You’re doing absolutely nothing to her, no training, no topping. Just observation, care, and space. And she’s returning the favor by thriving gently on her own terms. ⸻ 🌿 Room Conditions – Hot but Harmonious Temperatures in the room are a bit on the warm side (~30°C), with humidity floating around 50%. This gives us a VPD reading of 2.23 kPa, slightly high, but… No signs of stress. Not from her. Not from the sisters sharing the space. Why? Because your room’s energy is balanced, even if imperfect on paper. Plants feel intention, and ours is clear and steady. ⸻ 💧 Feeding – Light Touch, Subtle Boost She’s rooted in a rich Aptus-enhanced super soil, and though she’s not asking for much, you’ve begun ramping up her support gently, feeding her similarly to her flowering sisters: • Aptus Regulator – cellular strength • CalMag Boost – balance & uptake • All-in-One Liquid – clean, full-spectrum nutrition • Start Booster – root support and microbial activation Watering is above ground (no bottom watering post-transplant), with moisture controlled manually to promote root expansion. ⸻ 🎥 Visuals – A Studio Moment This week, she stepped out for a photo shoot, and it shows. 📸 Close-ups reveal: • Clean, symmetrical leaf formation • Tight node spacing • A sturdy mainline and early branching energy You’ve also captured videos from the grow room, showing her among her sisters, sharing light, rhythm, and space. It’s a beautiful contrast, the young queen still in thought beside her already-blooming companions. Even though some soil data came from a sister plant nearby (EC ~2.0, temp ~25.6°C), we’re noting that simply as a reference—not her exact readings. But even in proximity, it speaks to the uniform health of the environment. ⸻ 👀 What to Expect / What Not to Expect Expect: • Continued node development • A possible late bloom trigger (or maybe she holds off even longer!) • Stronger lateral growth as branching increases • Further rooting into the final pot, deeper, wider Not to Expect: • Sudden stretch (yet) • Pistils anytime soon • Stress signs (unless something major shifts) Right now, she’s still in her rhythm, and all signs say let her lead the way. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude & Shoutouts As always, none of this would be possible without the amazing support of our partners: 🌱 Zamnesia Seeds – for this legendary White Widow, full of mystery and legacy 🔧 Aptus Holland – for smart, low-impact nutrients that work with the soil, not against it 💡 ThinkGrow – for smooth, reliable LED bars giving plants space to thrive 🚀 Future of Grow – for the deep-spectrum Black Series 600W that’s ready for bloom when she is 🧠 TrolMaster – for the control and peace of mind that lets growers focus on plants, not problems 🧠 SpiderFarmer – for the control and crbon filter a peace mind that lets ⸻ 💚 Final Thoughts – The Quiet Before the Bloom We often chase speed in the garden. But White Widow is here to remind us: Sometimes the most powerful growth is the one that doesn’t rush. She’s staying grounded. She’s finding her rhythm. And she’s showing us that timing isn’t a rule, it’s a conversation. Stay tuned, dear growmies. Her story is still unfolding—and we’re just getting started 🌿✨ #WhiteWidow #ZamnesiaSeeds #Week4Update #ThinkGrowLED #FutureOfGrow #TrolMasterControlled #AptusPowered #FlowerFromSeed #GrowDiaries #CannabisCommunity #LEDGrow #11_13Cycle 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial White Widow – Week 5 | First Signs of Pre-Flower 🌸✨ Light Schedule: 11/13 from seed Room Temp: ~30.7°C Humidity: 57–60% VPD: ~1.89 kPa Water pH: 6.0–6.1 EC: 0.6 Watering Method: Hand watering ⸻ The Story So Far This queen has a story worth telling. We started with multiple White Widow seeds, but due to an uneven heat mat (lesson learned!), only one seed survived, this very plant. She’s been with us from germination, through her careful transplant into a prepared super soil boosted with Aptus Micro-Mix, Mycor-Mix, and substrate buffer powder. From the start, she’s been under an 11/13 light shuttle, and while I expected earlier flowering, she surprised me, holding back, stacking nodes, and keeping compact. This week, in her fifth week, she finally shows her first clear pre-flower signs. ⸻ Her Look Right Now She’s not tall, but she’s perfectly built, beautiful leaf structure, tight internodes, and starting to branch nicely. The leaves are a deep, healthy green and carry the classic White Widow vigor. I took her out for a studio photo session this week, capturing top shots, side views, and close-ups of her perfect symmetry. ⸻ Feeding Update Up to now, she’s had: • Aptus Regulator • Aptus CalMag Boost • Aptus All-in-One Liquid • Aptus Start Booster Now that she’s entering pre-flower, I’ve removed Start Booster and added Top Booster to support the transition. Current mix: • Regulator • CalMag Boost • Top Booster EC sits around 0.6, pH about 6.0–6.1. Even though she’s in rich super soil, this light feeding supports her until the full soil biology kicks into gear. ⸻ Conditions Yes, temps are a bit on the high side at 30.7°C with 57–60% RH, giving a VPD of ~1.89 kPa. Not ideal, but she’s handling it well, no signs of stress. Hand watering continues, and I might keep it that way for the full run to maintain control and intimacy with the plant. ⸻ What to Expect Next Now that she’s showing pre-flowers, I expect a slow but steady transition. Being in 11/13 from seed, she might flower more compactly, with denser bud sites rather than stretching heavily. This phase will be key to see how White Widow expresses under this unconventional light cycle. ⸻ Gratitude & Shoutouts 🙏 Huge thanks to those making this journey possible: 🌱 Zamnesia Seeds – for preserving and sharing this legend of the 90s 💧 Aptus Holland – for the precise, high-quality nutrients keeping her thriving 💡 ThinkGrow – for the perfectly balanced LED bars delivering even canopy light 🚀 Future of Grow – for the powerful Black Series 600W 🧠 TrolMaster – for environmental precision across the grow ⸻ 📸 Check the gallery for close-ups, overhead shots, and a short video tour of this beautiful survivor. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. DogDoctorOfficial White Widow – Week 6 | Second Big Flower, Buds Forming 🌸🌿 Light Schedule: 12/12 from seed Room Temp: ~28°C (stabilized with AC) Humidity: ~66% VPD: ~1.33 kPa CO₂: 450–800 ppm Watering: Hand watering Soil Content EC: ~2.96 ⸻ From Hairs to Buds This week marks a real turning point. Our White Widow is moving past simple hairs, now we can clearly see the beginnings of tiny buds forming. It’s the second big flower stage in her journey, and the structure is starting to express the true White Widow personality: compact, resinous, and promising. I took her out of the tent for another photoshoot, capturing her in detail with the Sony A6000. Close-ups show her leaves, structure, and those first clustered flowers. I also filmed short videos, including one where I share how I talk with my plants daily. For me, it’s not optional — it’s part of a symbiotic relationship. Plants respond to energy and care, and I believe everyone should try it. 🌱💭 ⸻ Light Strategy – Emerson Effect Simulation A special note this week: I recorded a screen video from the TrolMaster TM+ app to show how the lights are scheduled. 🌅 Wake-up: The reds switch on 15 minutes before the whites and blues. 🌇 Wind-down: At night, the reds also stay on 15 minutes longer than the other spectrums. This is designed to simulate sunrise and sunset while taking advantage of the Emerson Effect, a synergistic boost in photosynthesis efficiency when far-red and red light are combined with other wavelengths. The result? Plants wake up and settle down more naturally, with smoother light transitions, reduced stress, and potentially increased energy capture. It’s a small tweak, but it reflects how every detail of this environment is tuned with intention. ⸻ Environmental Changes This week, a big addition: the AC unit. Before, the room was running hot at 31–32°C and more, but now it’s stable at 28°C (occasionally 29°C). Combined with ~66% RH, this gives a steady VPD of 1.33, right in a comfortable zone for flower. CO₂ naturally fluctuates between 450–800 ppm, and the plants are thriving in these conditions. Even during the hotter weeks, they adapted beautifully, proof of the resilience of both the genetics and the environment we’ve been building. ⸻ Feeding & New Recipe Until now, she’s been on the Aptus base recipe: • Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L This week, I introduced a Plagron trio to push flower development: • Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Green Sensation – 1 ml/L Why now? Because she’s transitioned from stretch to actual bud formation. Power Buds helps with compact flowering sites, Sugar Royal enhances metabolism and energy (especially under high light), and Green Sensation supports resin and bud swelling later on. Together with Aptus, it’s a blend of precision and experimentation, trusting experience, intuition, and past results. ⸻ 12/12 From Seed – A Quick Recap This run is about exploration: • Started from seeds, with early germination struggles (mistakes included, lessons learned). • This White Widow is the sole survivor of those early days. • Straight into 12/12 from seed, she grew compact and resilient, surprising us by taking her time to flower despite the cycle. • Now, at Week 6, we see her first true buds. She’s not the tallest, but she’s beautiful, living proof of how genetics + environment + patience = results. ⸻ Looking Ahead What to expect: • Buds thickening and clustering. • Stronger aroma starting to emerge. • More demand on nutrition as flowering sites expand. What not to expect: • A tall, stretchy plant — she’s compact and will likely stay that way. • Early harvest — White Widow still takes her time, even under 12/12. ⸻ Shoutouts & Gratitude 🙏 🌱 Zamnesia – for the legendary White Widow genetics 💧 Aptus Holland – for the precise, reliable base nutrients 🌸 Plagron – for the flower enhancers that now join the recipe 💡 ThinkGrow – for the bar LEDs keeping perfect spread 🚀 Future of Grow – for the Black Series 600W full-spectrum power 🧠 TrolMaster – for automating and stabilizing the grow environment (and letting us dial in the Emerson effect with custom light scheduling!) And of course, thank you to everyone following this diary, reading, supporting, and sharing this journey. This project is about more than just one plant, it’s about experimenting, learning, and connecting with the grow along the way. ⸻ 📸 Check the gallery for: • Close-ups of bud formation • Studio shots with the Sony A6000 • Behind-the-scenes of the grow room • Video captures including the TrolMaster light scheduling demo • Daily plant connection moments 🌱 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic.
