moonwalking The plants are entering the bulking phase. Bud sites will start fattening up soon, but right now, it's mostly pistil growth.

moonwalking Just about to enter Week 4 of flower in a couple days, amber pistils are starting to appear. Blue Dream strain is known for a 9-10 week flowering period, so pistil color change around Week 4 is just the beginning of the ripening process. Still in the mid-flowering stage. The most dramatic bud expansion happens between Weeks 5-7. The real ripening happens closer to Weeks 7-9, when most pistils (70-90%) darken.

moonwalking Notable increase in size and density. Blue Dream flowers for 9-10 weeks so they're just past the halfway point. I added Organic Dry Molasses, Organic Worm Castings, Organic Seabird Guano.. the Seabird Guano really stinks! it took a few days for the stink to go away after adding an additional layer of soil on top. I also added a pinch (about 5ml/gallon) of Epsom Salt to one plant that was beginning to turn slightly yellow, that helped and it's back to green. There was also a little chem burn at tips of leaves from Tiger Bloom, so I flushed them a bit and have decreased feeding for a while and it has helped.

moonwalking Plants are in late flower (around week 6). Buds are swelling nicely, with lots of frosty trichomes developing.
moonwalking They're stacking up nicely but still need a few more weeks to go. Just keeping it simple with my feeding, only giving them Organic Dry Molasses, Worm Castings, and SIGNAL Terpene Enhancer tea.
Also, just to be clear, this is 4 plants total and the front left is the top clone from the plant at the rear right. the rear right plant was growing like 3 times as fast as the other two so i topped it and made the clone. the other two plants were not topped.
moonwalking Still cooking on the vine.. letting them marinate.

moonwalking The right rear plant that is the fast grower, is ripening slower then the other two. i moved lights to be more focused on that plant. at this point i think they're ready for harvest once the white pistils on that plant turn orange. i want to harvest them all at the same time, so i'm guessing maybe in a few more days. trichomes look good, from what i can see they're mostly cloudy and some amber.
At harvest i am planning on washing the branches, i have 5 gallon buckets and 17 gallons of distilled water and baking soda and lemons and 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. i'm going to use 1/4 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed & filtered lemons) .. 1st wash will be in 1 cup H₂O₂ with 4 gallons distilled water.. then 2nd bucket is the baking soda and lemon.. then the 3rd bucket will be room temperature distilled water.. then the final 4th wash will be slightly chilled distilled water.
