Kush8 Welcome to this report, dudes! It's time to get some action happening in the grow tent. I've got a few strains lined up from a few different breeders, and I've been staggering their starts over the past few weeks. Here’s the current lineup and how they kicked off: My germination method usually involves soaking seeds in water + hydrogen peroxide + about a gram of sugar for about 20 hours. After that, they go into paper towels, which are then placed in a plastic bag for 24-48 hours, kept at 23-27 degrees Celsius to encourage popping. That little bit of sugar is just to give the seeds a potential boost to get things rolling. Auto Banana Blaze from Dutch Passion: The first Banana Blaze popped into soil on April 9th, 2025. This one came up pretty quickly, which is always good. Quick Brand Lowdown: Dutch Passion is a well-known seed company, been around for a while. They've got a reputation for solid genetics. This Auto Banana Blaze is supposed to be on the sweeter side. White Widow XXL Auto from Barney's Farm: This White Widow XXL Auto started germinating on March 30th, 2025, and went into the soil the very next day, March 31st, 2025. It also germinated without much fuss. Quick Brand Lowdown: Barney's Farm is another established name from Amsterdam. They're known for a wide selection of strains. This XXL version of White Widow is expected to be a decent producer. Second Auto Banana Blaze from Dutch Passion: Yup, got another Auto Banana Blaze going! This smaller one hit the soil on April 18th, 2025. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the first. Auto Kong 4 from Paradise Seeds: Last in the lineup, my Auto Kong 4 started its life in soil on April 27th, 2025. Quick Brand Lowdown: Paradise Seeds is another long-standing breeder from Amsterdam. They focus on stable genetics. This Auto Kong 4 is an autoflowering version of their Kong 4. That’s the starting lineup! I’ll be dropping regular updates as these bitches get bigger. Stay tuned!

Kush8 Week 1-4 Pics and First Feed! LST on the WW! Welcome back to this grow , dudes! Im rolling into our first weekly update, and I've got some pics to show you how these ladies are doing. The images you're seeing cover the period from April 9th right up to April 29th, 2025. Things are looking pretty good in the tent. I've given them their first taste of nutrients, adding some GHF Bio Grow to the mix. They should be just fine with this little boost. Big news on the White Widow XXL Auto: I actually started some Low Stress Training (LST) on her around April 26th. For LST, I'm just using some cheap, flexible metal garden stakes that are rubber-coated on the outside. I bend them into a hook, then clip them with a clothespin to the edge of the fabric pot, gently bending the plant over to create that lean. The goal is to open up the canopy and promote more even growth, which should definitely make an impact on the final yield and plant structure. Check out the progress: White Widow XXL Auto (Barney's Farm): This girl is definitely the front-runner. You can see she's established well and is already showing off some nice, broad leaves. You can't quite see the LST in this shot, but it's happening, and I'm expecting it to pay off! Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - First One: The first Banana Blaze is also putting on some good growth. Still a bit smaller than the Widow, but healthy and pushing out new foliage. The Setup: Here's a look at the whole operation. You can see the Mars Hydro light doing its thing, and the plants are nestled in their fabric pots. I've labeled them to keep track, since I've got a couple of Banana Blazes going. The Kong 4 just recently joined the party, and the second Banana Blaze is also still quite young. Overall, I'm happy with how they're transitioning from germination to early vegetative growth. They look healthy and happy under the lights. That's it for this week's visual update! I'll be back with more as they continue to stretch.

Kush8 Week 5-6 Progress & Current Feeding! (May 3rd - May 8th) Welcome back, dudes! Time for another look at how things are progressing in the grow tent. These pictures cover the period from May 3rd to May 8th, so we're seeing some good development on all fronts. The girls are doing well! I added GHF Bio Grow once at the beginning and plan to wait 8 weeks before adding it again. I'm currently using GHF Bio Enhancer every two weeks at 1 gram per liter. From what I'm seeing, it seems to be working well for them, helping with nutrient uptake and overall plant health. Here's a breakdown of the current state: White Widow XXL Auto (Barney's Farm): This White Widow is definitely loving the LST! You can see how much wider and bushier she's getting. The training from April 26th is already making an impact, opening up that canopy nicely and encouraging side branching. This is exactly what we want for an autoflower to maximize those bud sites. She's pushing out new growth like crazy. Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - First One: The first Banana Blaze is also putting on size. I've noticed a few little yellowish/lighter spots on some of the leaves. Nothing too concerning right now, but I'll be keeping an eye on it to make sure it's not progressing. Could be a minor splash or just some early signs of nutrient needs shifting. Other than that, she's looking vigorous. Pre-Flower Action: Looks like the White Widow,is already starting to show signs of pre-flower! You can clearly see the pistils forming at the nodes, which means we're transitioning from vegetative growth into the flowering stage. Exciting times! The Younger Ones: The second Auto Banana Blaze and the Auto Kong 4 (started April 18th and April 27th respectively) are still in their earlier stages, focusing on vegetative growth. They're both healthy and stacking up nodes. Overall, the tent is bustling with activity. The addition of GHF Bio Enhancer seems to be boosting their overall vitality. I'll continue to monitor them closely, especially with the onset of flowering. Stay tuned for more updates as these ladies start to really stretch and fill out!

Kush8 Week 7 Progress & First Bloom Feed! (May 9th - May 18th) Welcome back, dudes! Things are progressing well in the grow tent. These pictures cover the period from May 9th to May 18th, showing steady growth and the start of flowering for some. I've made a key change to the feeding regimen: I've added GHF Bio Bloom to both the White Widow and the Banana Blazes, at a rate of 3 grams per liter of soil. This is to support their transition into the flowering stage and help them develop those sweet buds. Here’s the breakdown of how things are looking: White Widow XXL Auto (Barney's Farm): The White Widow continues to thrive. Her LST has really opened up the canopy, and you can see plenty of new bud sites developing. She's stretching nicely as she enters her flowering phase. Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - First One: The first Banana Blaze is also showing good progress and is responding well to the added Bio Bloom. The earlier yellowish spots haven't worsened, and overall she's putting on solid growth. The Younger Ones (Second Auto Banana Blaze & Auto Kong 4): These two are steadily growing and stacking up their nodes. They're still a bit behind the older plants, but healthy and establishing well. Overall, the tent is bustling with activity, and it's exciting to see the first signs of proper bud formation. The new Bio Bloom addition should give them all the fuel they need for the upcoming flowering stretch. Stay tuned for more updates as these ladies continue to fill out and frost up!

Kush8 Week 8/9 Challenges & Continued Growth! (May 21st - May 31st) Welcome back, dudes! This update covers the period from May 21st to May 31st. We've got some good progress, but also a minor hiccup that I've been tackling. It looks like I messed up with the pH for a bit, and as a result, my White Widow XXL Auto has developed a visible Cal-Mag deficiency. This is a bummer, but it's something I'm actively working to correct. Live and learn, right? I'll be keeping a close eye on her and adjusting things to get her back on track. The good news is that the other girls are handling things much better: Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - Both Plants: Both Banana Blazes are feeling good and continuing to progress well. They seem less sensitive to the slight pH fluctuation and are just cruising along. Auto Kong 4 (Paradise Seeds): The Auto Kong 4 is still doing its own thing. Up until now, it's primarily been on just water, but I did add some GHF Bio Grow to her recently to give her a boost. She's looking healthy and building structure. Overall, it's a mixed bag this week with the White Widow showing some stress, but the rest of the crew is powering through. It's a constant learning process, especially when trying to balance multiple plants with slightly different needs. Stay tuned for the next update as I work to resolve the deficiency and these plants push further into flowering!
