KannaKoom Hey all,
Just an intro to myself, I would say I'm fairly new to growing. This will be my second grow and I'm super excited to get this going! Not too long ago, I harvested my first 2 autoflower plants and they are currently in the curing process. I ended up getting 2 ounces off of one and 1 ounce off of the other. I learned a lot from my first grow and one of the main points I got was to not overreact. I plan on applying what I learned to this grow and cannot wait. I was originally going to wait until the end of July to start again but after trimming and jarring my first grow, I had the itch the very next day to plant a new seed.
This time around, I am only planting one seed. This is due to the fact that my grow light, at the moment, is only 150W and my tent is only 2.7ftx2.7ft. While I felt my light and tent held up okay with 2 plants, I feel I had potential to yield better results all around with one plant.
The medium I am using is Bush Doctor Coco Loco in a 5 gal. pot mixed with 15 tbsp of Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4. For the seedling stage, I have currently have the light on a 24 hour schedule at 300ppfd, 24 inches above the soil. I placed a humidity dome over the seed location to add temp and humidity and have been spraying the soil with a spray bottle when the top layer is looking dry.
Conditions of the tent: 72f degrees average, 75% humidity average

KannaKoom I noticed around midnight 6/7 that she started to poke out of the ground, by the time I opened my tent at 11am 6/8, she had grown out of the soil and her first leaves unfolded. I kept the humidity dome over it for the first day and removed it the second day to give the seedling a bit more light.
For the first week, until she is out of the seedling stage, I am running a 24 hour light schedule. I brought the light down to 20 inches above the plant and bumped it up to 325ppfd. My reasoning behind this is due to the fact that I feel my previous grow did not get enough light in this vital stage of growth and it put the plants behind by a week or two. In addition, according to Fast Buds, these plants benefit from high intensity lighting. One week from sprout and I am already seeing great growth compared to my last grow.
Final thoughts on the first week: Overall, I feel that I am on the right track. Growth seems to be 3 days faster than where my previous grow was at around the 7 day mark and she is already forming her 2nd node of true leaves at a rapid rate. I did end up bumping up the PPFD to 350 around day 5 leaving the lamp distance to plant the same as before at 20 inches. She seems to be responding well to this, not showing any signs of stress. For the second week, I plan to switch to the vegetive stage, once the second set of true leaves develops a bit more. This will entail switching the light spectrum to better suite the vegetative stage, and changing the light schedule from 24hrs to 20/4. My previous grow's light schedule was at 18/6 and while I saw good results from this, I'd like to see if there are any benefits to a 20/4 light schedule.

KannaKoom 6/17: I am keeping things as is for the time being. The light is 20 inches from the plant at 350 PPFD on a 24 hour light schedule. Growth seems to be constant and picking up steam with tighter inter-nodal spacing at these settings. I plan to switch from the seedling light spectrum to a vegetative light spectrum once the second set of true leaves gets a bit more of its form. I will also change the light schedule from 24hr to 20/4.
6/19: Today marks the first day of the 20/4 light schedule using a vegetative light spectrum. All other conditions are the same. I'm still only spraying the soil once a day but feel by next week, I can up the feeding with a little calmag. We will see!
6/22: End of week two and things are looking great. I'm still a newb but I can see improvement in my strategy this grow. The plant is growing nicely and seems to be on a good pace. 6/21, I added in some calmag and upped the feeding amount. I also bumped my lighting up a bit too. I saw quick results as seen in the timelapse that day, as the leaves started to pray up. As of Sunday, all is well and so far this grow is exceeding my expectations!

KannaKoom 6/24: Things are looking good! Haven't really changed much, but I did bring the light a little closer to the plant and I brought humidity down to 70%. The bud sites are growing very quickly. Hoping to be able to start some LST by the end of the week.
6/26: Loving the growth still! Keeping things as is still, as I am liking the results so far and don't think she would benefit from any adjustments. The 4th node has dropped nicely and 5th is coming along fast! Also, I planted four mystery seeds I received from a friend and three of the four popped today! We plan on trying our hand at a little outdoor growing with these. Nothing like a little experimenting, right?
