Depends on water capacity... e.g. in coco you can re-irrigate when top is still moist or just starting to change colors, while a heavy soil you want to wait for top 1" to dry. You are likely closer to the 1" 'standard' than coco, i'd wager. Just make sure it doesn't wilt. If you have growth on top of soil, that's a sign you should allow more dryback to occur. Fully saturated is a lot of water weight. Water-weight is also an excellent observation to use to trigger an irrigation. If you do so at same loss of weight, it'll require a very similar volume of water to accomplish the task. if you have any issues with the dryback you choose, wait longer...

Get yourself a ec metre for soil. Ec requires salts and water to conduct, when ec gets low or stops then it's time to water, once you water you take ec again to check of the.ec spiked up so somewhere you want it to be. If it's still too low you add ppms to get it to the ec best suited for optimal growth. Ec is essentially how much "shit is getting done" . Simple but highly effective, completely removes the if/maybe doubts. Pots should be fully saturated each watering. Really helps me with my 100 gallon pot. ☺️ makes life easy.

Hey growmie 👋 If the soil still feels moist and the pot is really heavy, you're probably good to wait a bit longer. With living soil, it's often better to let the top few centimeters dry out slightly before watering again – especially if you're not seeing any signs of wilting or deficiency. Overwatering is more common than underwatering in these situations, and roots love that wet-dry cycle. So if in doubt, give it another day or two and check again. ✌️ Happy growing – she’s probably just chillin’ in there 😄🌱
