Lowbuds Hey everyone, kicking off my Divine Rapier Auto grow for the Divine Seeds 2025 Global Autoflowering Competition!
This one’s going straight into an 11L square pot — that’s all I had on hand. I planted the seed directly into the soil and sprayed it with water mixed with a bit of H₂O₂ to help boost germination and keep things fresh.
She’ll be sharing the same budget custom space as my Black Opium, running under cheap eBay lamps.
Soil is reused from a previous run, boosted with worm humus, Root Complex, and Power Zyme — keeping it simple and affordable.
I’m curious to see how this smaller pot and direct planting will work out. If all goes well, I might even finish her bloom on my south-facing window bank for some natural light.
What I’m aiming for:
• See what an 11L pot can do in the same budget setup
• Keep things low-effort and easy to follow for anyone with limited space or gear
• Share honest updates and learnings
Seed is planted and ready to go — stay tuned for sprout updates!
Big thanks to Divine Seeds for sponsoring this grow with free seeds!

Lowbuds Day 1: Waiting for Lift-Off 🚀 | Divine Rapier Auto
Seed was planted directly into the soil a couple of days ago — 11L square pot with amended soil (worm humus, Root Complex, Power Zyme), sprayed with water + a bit of H₂O₂ to help with germination.
So far, no sign of her above ground yet, but I’m keeping conditions steady and the topsoil moist.
She’s in the same custom budget setup as my Black Opium — under cheap eBay lights, nothing fancy. Hoping she’ll break the surface soon. Patience mode activated.

Lowbuds Update: Seed Swap 🚨 | Divine Rapier Auto
So… the first seed I planted directly into the 11L pot didn’t make it — no germ after about a week. RIP little one 👻🌱
Luckily, I had dropped a backup seed on the balcony in a 20L pot, just in case. That one took off nicely, so it’s officially taking over as the new Divine Rapier entry for this diary.
She’s outdoors for now but will likely join the indoor setup later, or maybe finish out on the south-facing window bank if it fits the flow. Still sticking to the budget, real-life-grower spirit of the run.
New plant is healthy and rolling — updates coming soon!
Big thanks again to Divine Seeds for the opportunity 🙏

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 3 Update: Slow Start, Probably My Setup
Not much growth to report — she’s still small, and the second leaf set is just barely developing. Same as with the Black Opium, this one’s off to a slow start.
Lately I’ve been noticing this trend across a few seeds — most likely due to low light intensity and not enough humidity in my veg space. Definitely something I’ll try to dial in better for future runs.
For now, I’m just keeping things stable: light watering, no feeding yet, and watching to see if she picks up now that conditions are improving.
More updates soon if she decides to take off!

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 3/4: Finally Some Momentum 🙌
Looks like we have a survivor!
This Divine Rapier is doing better — she’s got two sets of leaves now and is finally showing some steady growth. Still small for this point, but she looks healthy and seems like she’ll make it.
Out of four seeds I started for this contest, she’s the only one that made it through. Not the smoothest start to this run, but I’m glad at least one plant is giving it a proper go.
Sticking with the plan: light watering, stable light, no training yet — just letting her build some momentum before I touch anything. Might stay indoors, or still finish on the south-facing window depending on how she develops.
More updates soon 🌱

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 5: Turning the Corner 🌿
Posting a little late — this was from last Saturday:
She’s officially bouncing back. The Divine Rapier has now pushed out her 4th set of leaves and is finally heading in the right direction. Growth is still compact, but healthy and well-structured.
After a rough start and a few seed failures, it’s good to see this one getting into gear. Conditions have been more stable lately, and she’s clearly responding well.
No training yet — just letting her stack a bit more before I start shaping anything. Definitely feels like the one that might carry this run.
More soon!

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 6: LST Starts Now 🌿🌀
Week 6 already — and she’s finally picking up. Not the fastest start, but this one’s got promise: tight internodes, nice color, and she’s holding steady.
The stem isn’t super thick, so I’ll take it easy with the first bend — probably just anchor and guide it slowly. Might also raise the lamp a bit — it’s been close, and I think that’s why the growth is so compact.
She’s in a 20L pot with reused, amended soil (worm humus, Root Complex, PowerZyme), still running light feeding for now. The structure looks good enough to open her up gradually over the next few days.
So far, she’s the only survivor of the 4 Divine Seeds autos I started — but she’s holding it down like a champ.
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for the genetics — more updates coming soon as training begins!

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 7 (Saturday): First LST Started 🌱🌀
Update from Saturday:
I started LST by gently bending the main stem over toward the edge of the pot. The internodes were still very tight, so I kept it simple — just one tie-down to open her up without putting too much pressure on the stem.
She’s in a 20L pot of reused soil, and feeding has been light but consistent — Root Complex, PowerZyme, and TNT Complex at half strength. She’s been responding well so far.
Not a big plant yet, but compact and healthy. Hoping the training will give those lower branches a chance to catch up now that light penetration is better.
Looking forward to seeing how she reacts this week 👀

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 7: Pistils, Move-In Day & Pest Patrol 🌸💡
She’s moving along!
This week I kept bending the main stem further to the side of the pot to keep that horizontal shape going. She’s stayed compact but healthy, and now — first pistils just showed up 🔍👀
With that timing, I’ve moved her into the better light zone that just freed up — now running under two cheap eBay lamps, should give her a solid boost going into early flower.
I also started bloom feeding:
💧 2L mix (usually lasts about a week):
Bloom Complex PowerZyme Booster
On the downside: I spotted some thrips, so she got a good shower today to rinse them off. I’ll also spray with a mild dish soap solution as a next step in pest control.
She’s the only survivor from the original batch, so I’m doing my best to get her through clean and strong.
Thanks again to Divine Seeds — she’s finally showing what she can do!

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 8: Growth Explosion! 🚀🌱
I came back after a few days away and… wow.
She’s at least twice the size compared to before I left — the LST has really opened her up and now she’s spreading wide and filling the space.
The move under two lamps clearly paid off, and she’s loving the bloom feed.
Right now she’s getting:
• Bloom Complex
• PowerZyme
• Booster
💧 Around 2L mix at a time, usually enough for a week.
Structure-wise, she’s pushing strong side branches, plenty of bud sites forming, and pistils popping everywhere. I’ll keep tucking and tying to keep light hitting all those lower spots.
Big thanks again to Divine Seeds — this is turning into a real comeback story for the only survivor of the original batch!

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 10: Stretch in Full Force 🌿⚡
The stretch is still going strong this week, and she’s really pushing upwards fast. Some of the top branches were getting dangerously close to the lamps, so I gently brought them down using garden wire to keep everything safe and open.
She’s also thirstier now — going through about 2L every two days instead of weekly. That’s a good sign she’s in full bloom mode and stacking energy for bud building.
On top of that, a light smell is starting to appear when I check on her — a nice preview of what’s to come in the next weeks.
Exciting times ahead as she shifts deeper into flowering! 🌸🔥
Thanks again to Divine Seeds for the genetics powering this beauty.

Lowbuds 📓 Divine Rapier Auto – Week 11: Shine and Stretch ✨🌿
She’s still stretching strong and developing more and more bud sites all around. To keep her safe under the lights, I’ve been bending some branches over — better airflow, no burns, and more even light distribution.
The first signs of shiny resin are starting to appear on the leaves and tips, a very promising sight this early into flowering. 🌸✨
This week I top-dressed with a handful of worm humus and gave her plain water. Soon I’ll move on to Phosphorus Plus to support the next stage of flower development.
So far so good — she’s really shaping up. 🙌 Big thanks to Divine Seeds for this resilient lady.
@Natrona, I had the issue with several seeds recently, I blame the heatwave, could be something else. However still decent from Divine Seeds, 3 out of 4 germinated well directly in soil. Is your Big Demon doing better?
