S4nchi Here we go again. After last‘s year successful grow of Cream Mandarine Auto, we decided to give Sweet Seed‘s red collection a try. Dark Devil it shall be.
3/3 seeds germinated after 4 days in peat pellets. When the roots showed up at the bottom, seedlings were transferred into the final pots.

S4nchi They’re growing nicely. I removed the hoods. The Stems are already purple. We had a few heavy rain showers over the last couple of days but they don‘t care.

S4nchi This week, I added nematodes to the soil to prevent future gnat problems, an issue I ran into last year. I fed with selfmade aloe juice to stimulate root growth. And since we got some scorching weather ahead of us, I also covered the soil with pine mulch to keep it from drying out too quickly.
The babies are enjoying 10 hours of direct sun per day.

S4nchi All 3 devil ladies made some progress. Not so much height-wise with them uniformly now being 13 cm tall, but in terms of sidebranches appearing, getting a little bushier, and the stem thickening.
I‘ll just let them grow as they are. No topping, no LST. Since the strain is new to me, I‘m pretty curious how they turn out without my influence.
The wick watering system works nicely. I have to refill the 5 liter reservoir approximately once a week although we had already some hot days. The lower third of the fabric pots feels moist and cool but not wet.
Nice choice. Had one in late summer last year. Hasn’t purpled and only 37g dry. But nice buds and it growed above 28 degrees in flowering… ultra stressed. I will watch your grow :)
