Breaking the ICE First Photo Outdoor run

Aznygrow After Germination and warmer weather, moved the 1L seedling pot into the greenhouse and suspended it under the roof. The indoor space (LED setup) dropped in temp, while the GWH held 22–26 °C during the day. Better light spread + stable warmth = perfect for early veg. Weather turned cooler and cloudier – perfect timing to move her into the greenhouse. She's suspended close to the roof where it’s warm and bright but not too intense. Temps stay stable between 17–20 °C daytime, 10–13 °C at night. Soil stayed slightly moist after a light root stimulator feed.

Aznygrow At the end of week 2 in the young life of my ICE plant, we can summarize First true leaves fully developed, with the second set visibly forming by the end of the week. Some early stretch occurred, but was corrected by lowering the pot to increase light intensity. No visible signs of stress, overwatering, or deficiency. One light watering with biolora Turbo Root Activator. Cloudy weather provided gentle light for a smooth transition into natural conditions. A smooth and healthy week overall. The ICE adjusted well to her new greenhouse environment, with steady growth and strong early root development. Looking good heading into Week 3! Next week I want to transplant her into the Greenhouse soil lets se how this will work out :)

Aznygrow ICE had a calm and healthy third week of veg. The second and third leaf pairs expanded fully, and the fourth set was visible by the end of the week. Growth remained compact with good structure – no stretch, no signs of stress. Leaf color stayed vibrant, and the stalk thickened nicely. On June 5nd, she was transplanted from her 1L pot into the final greenhouse bed. The soil had been prepared weeks earlier with Floragard Grow Mix Organic and worm humus. Pro-Mix HP with mycorrhiza was added to the top layer. Dry mycorrhiza powder was applied directly to the root ball at transplant. The plant was placed slightly deeper than pot level, watered in gently, and settled in perfectly. Conditions were overcast, which made for a low-stress transplant, and she's now standing upright in her permanent spot. No nutrients added yet – just letting the roots explore the living soil mix. I'm so excited to see what will happen cause that's the first time I grow a Lady in a bed.

Aznygrow This week marked ICE's recovery phase after transplanting into the greenhouse bed. She had to settle in while I was away on vacation – and she did. No transplant shock. Strong root establishment, visible vertical and leaf growth Before I left, I connected her to my Irrigation System in my Greenhouse. Weather was cloudy with a few hot days, but the mulch and drip system kept the soil moist and stable Automatic watering system worked perfectly – no signs of under- or overwatering Cause of the Cloudy days and her new place in my Greenhouse, sun was a commodity and the internodal spacing is a bit wider as I like it but the two hot and sunny days at the end of the week made up for it. In the coming week I plan on Topping her and start some LST for more controle over the space she uses.

Aznygrow This week marked a significant moment in Ice’s training: the plant was topped and underwent its first light shaping. Unfortunately, the "shaping" wasn't intentional :D my neighbor dog tail wagged her, the stem bent and developed a noticeable kink. Despite this incident, Ice is still standing strong and hasn’t shown any major signs of stress. The kinked area began to thicken over the following days, forming a callus-like bulge I think that's a good sign that recovery is underway. I added a bamboo stake and soft clip to support the main stem. Otherwise, things I noticed; The two new tops from the topping cut are visible but have shown minimal vertical growth so far. (surly she was working on the kink) Lateral branches at the lower nodes have begun stretching and gaining size, likely encouraged by the topping. The main stem has visibly thickened, especially at the damaged section. My plan going forward is to LST the branches after her recovery.

Aznygrow This week marked the beginning of advanced shaping for "Ice" in the greenhouse. After her earlier topping, both main tops were re-topped to promote four symmetrical growth sites. To take full advantage of her space and reduce vertical stretch, I also gently tied down the developing side branches using soft string. Due to the long internodes and lack of a container edge, anchoring points were limited — but I managed to secure the strings effectively by anchoring into the soil and adjacent structures. Her main stem (which had previously kinked) is now visibly thickened and stable, showing no signs of stress. She’s recovering well and redirecting energy toward the new top nodes and side branches. Growth remains healthy and lush, and light penetration is improving thanks to her widening shape. I'm planning to monitor her structure daily and adjust ties as needed. No defoliation yet — just letting her push now that she’s fully in training mode.

Aznygrow This week was marked by steady vegetative growth and a structural shift in ICE's development. ICE continued to stretch due to longer internodes, likely a result of genetics and mostly partial shading. While the "stretchy" appearance is still present, the plant is now showing improved branching and development in the side shoots. I also continued training the lower branches outward using garden ties to encourage horizontal structure and better light distribution. Overall, ICE looks healthy. Some minor leaf damage (holes and discoloration) appeared, possibly from pests or minor stress, but nothing alarming. New growth is vibrant and lush. I'm excited to see how the structure fills in now that the canopy is opening up.

Aznygrow The plant continued strong growth this week, with a healthy green appearance and solid branching. LST was adjusted again to manage height, and the top colas were tied down successfully. The structure is now much more balanced and horizontal. Minor leaf damage (from pests), but nothing concerning. Weather was mild with a good amount of sunlight — overall a great week for growth.

Aznygrow I call it Green Hell. She had good growth this week too, I adjusted the LST and needed to cut some branches. Some leafs still damaged, but nothing major. Stem thickend but branches still flexible. Internodial growth still too much but weather is poor and position in the Greenhouse could be better (noted for next year)

Aznygrow Compared to week 9, the plant has really taken off, strong vertical growth continues and it’s now pushing against the limits of the greenhouse. The stretch (low sun intensity and suboptimal placement and tomatoes thieving sun :D) is very obvious, with longer internodes and a lot of fresh foliage filling out the space. Structural training was continued to keep height under control, tying and bending have helped to open the canopy, but managing space is becoming a real challenge. Leaves are a healthy green overall, though some lower fan leaves show minor damage (pests). Overall, the plant looks vigorous and healthy, thriving despite the tight space, the next weeks will be all about controlling stretch and guiding her smoothly into bloom(hopefully soon cause more growth is problematic :D) .

Aznygrow Yes, it's official, she is getting too big for my Greenhouse. The strong vertical growth continues needed to LST her she is now growing over to my Tomatoes. The Good Thing is the Internodal spacing is getting smaller, so light seems to be better up there. She continues to look healthy and vigorous, this week she got some of my fermented plant juice but overall no other Nutrients till now (most likely only getting some bloom nutrients if she ever gets into bloom :D). No signs of bloom till now tho.
