DrJekyll_MrKush Week 4 – Things Are Looking Good Starting off Week 4 with a little experiment – decided to try a SCROG on one of the 7 autos, just to see how she takes it. So far, so good – she’s bouncing back nicely. These F1s are really something! The rest of the girls are doing well under LST, spreading out slowly and steadily. Everyone looks healthy, and growth has been pretty consistent all around. All in all, a smooth week so far. The tent’s looking better every day – curious to see how things develop from here.

DrJekyll_MrKush All seven girls are looking happy and healthy! I did a bit of defoliation this week—just had to take off 2 fan leaves per plant to let those lower shoots catch some light. They’re loving it already. Started feeding them a bit of bud ignitor and maaaan… they’re popping off. Growth is explosive. You can really feel the energy shifting—like they’re gearing up for something big. Stretch phase is just around the corner, so now it’s all about keeping them nice and tidy in the tent, making sure all seven have their space to shine. So far, so dank 😎

DrJekyll_MrKush Week 2 of Flower — The Stretch is real! So here we are, second week into flower and the girls are really stretching hard. Managing 7 at once is proving a bit tricky — had to do some trimming and clean up the lower branches to avoid future popcorn buds and to push more energy to the top colas. One thing I really appreciate about these Medusa F1s is that, like many other F1s, they’re super uniform in height and structure, which makes life so much easier when running multiple plants at the same time. Noticed a few light green leaves (mostly the new growth) — I’ve been slowly increasing the nutrient dosage but it seems like some of them want more than others. Running more plants at the same time definitely brings new types of challenges, but it’s all part of the game. Happy growing everyone! 🌱✨🔥

DrJekyll_MrKush Week 3 - End of Week Report Basic parameters: • pH: ~6.5 • Light schedule: 23/1 • Air extraction: 106 m³/h • Watering: approx. 14L every 1.5 days for 7 plants → ~1.33L per plant per day This week has been quite eventful! I finished week 3 and decided to test some HST (a bit late, I know) on three of the plants, just to see how they would take it. So far, they’re handling it well, no signs of excessive stress. One plant had already undergone topping, and she’s responding nicely too — especially considering the smaller pot, she’s spreading out horizontally and helping fill up the space in the tent. Speaking of which, the tent is now completely full, so I had to defoliate once again — that’s the third defoliation in three weeks, almost like clockwork. They’re responding quite well to it so far. Today I also let them get really thirsty before watering — leaves started to drop slightly. It’s a little stress test to toughen them up, hoping not to overdo it. So far, they still look happy and strong. We’ve got about two weeks to go and the buds are starting to fill in nicely. White pistils are mostly all out already, and now the heads are bulking up. Hoping to see the first signs of browning pistils in the next few days. Let’s see how they push through this final stretch! 👊🌱🔥

DrJekyll_MrKush Buds are swelling fast. Pistils are turning amber on most top colas, and the structure is tightening up day by day. Some side branches are even catching up thanks to good light spread. HST clearly paid off — the stressed areas are pushing multiple fat tops with solid density already. No recovery time needed, she’s just powering through. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, a few ambers showing up now. Resin production has increased a lot this week. Sugar leaves are sticky and frosty. The smell is getting louder too — sweet and creamy with a gassy/earthy background. Definitely loud for an auto. Plant looks happy, still feeding strong, no signs of fade or deficiency. DrJekyll_MrKush This week marked a serious shift. The main colas are swelling fast, and you can clearly see the difference compared to last week. Structure is tightening up, buds are stacking, and weight is starting to show. The side buds are finally coming in, building up volume after a slower start. I’ve cut back on the heavy PK (Boom Nutrients) and switched to Overdrive by Advanced Nutrients for the next week. The idea is to push the final stretch without overfeeding or stressing them out. What’s wild is how Medusa F1 seems to change overnight—this strain really doesn’t play around in late flower. In just the last two weeks, the visual progress has been drastic. Space is still a big question mark. Running 7 plants in a 90x90 tent is tight, but airflow and light coverage are holding up for now. The big question is whether it’ll translate to actual yield or just look impressive. So far, so good. Let’s see if these girls can fill out the tent and make it all worth it.

DrJekyll_MrKush Growlog GD – Medusa F1 – Final Week “Just Flawless Finish now, then it’s showtime.” We’ve hit the last stretch. Flush in progress, only Flawless Finish in the mix—no salts, no extras. Just clean water and patience. Chasing that smooth flavor and the kind of stone that talks back. The HST colas? Responded like champs. Thick, solid, stacked right. No sign of stress, just straight production. Even the side heads are showing up strong—frosted, swollen, not playing backup. Trichomes are fully cloudy, zero amber. Not time yet. Two phenos look like they’ll need a couple extra days. No rush. We’re not growing for calendars. Aromas are deepening, resin’s running thick, and every top looks ready to be famous. Final observation mode: steady hands, close lens, no distractions. Scissors are coming. For now, we watch and wait.

DrJekyll_MrKush Grow Report – (Royal Queen Seeds) Strain: Medusa F1 auto – Royal Queen Seeds: 7 Medium: Coco Irrigation: Manual Flush: 10 days with Flawless Finish (2 ml/L) Water: Always left to sit before use to remove fluoride Drying: Multi-level circular drying rack, dehumidifier active in grow room Desired effect: Uplifting, not couch lock Planned curing: Minimum 3 weeks The harvest has finally arrived after a smooth and steady grow cycle. I started the flush when the trichomes were roughly 80% cloudy and 20% still clear, aiming to avoid heavy sedative effects and focus on a clearer, more energetic result. Buds came out dense and resinous, with a strong and varied aroma profile—some plants lean toward a persistent sweet scent, while others have more distinct lemon notes. This could be due to two different phenotypes, or simply uneven development across the plants. Two of them probably could have used a few more days before the flush, but I chose to synchronize the entire crop. Drying is currently underway using a multi-level rack inside the grow tent, with a dehumidifier running to control ambient moisture and prevent excess humidity buildup. Once drying is complete, I’ll begin a curing phase of at least three weeks. About one-third of the harvest will be used for my first attempt at an ice or lator extraction. Big thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for their excellent work on this strain. Strong genetics, uniform growth, stable nutrient response, and a surprisingly rich aroma already by late flowering.
