This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule.

My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution.

Natrona Week 4 April 20-26 Veg
Highlights of this week:
I defoliated the large fan leaves from the main stems on the Fastbuds testers, however, Lemon Cherry Cookies only has 8 fan leaves on her so why bother. She shad a massive stretch. I wasnโt really measuring but I think over 15 inches. Her wide node spacing is evident in the pics.
and tight.

Natrona Week 6 May 4 โ 10
FLOWER 1
I fed twice this week as below but added 15ml Power buds since I have some left over.
Micro 4tsp
Gro 4 tsp
Bloom 4 tsp
CalMag 4tsp
The power buds hold the ph stable as it took 1.5 tsp PH down to bring the ph to 6.8. I usually Ph to 6.5 or 6.6. but I didnโt want to chase my Ph. PPM 1440 temp 70. Everyone had 5 inches of stretch from last week.
Pics 5/5 & 5/7
I got a new phone a few weeks ago and have been experimenting with different settings and lighting. Pics and videos were taken at the beginning of the week. The tent gets too hot, as high as 91f and at this point that sets up for disease. 5/5 I had planned on defoliation but Lemon Cherry Cookies only has 8 fan leaves so why bother.
Fed bloom 2 TBSp /G 120ml Ph 5,9, PPm 555 temp 67.6F
Events last week: Sunday 27th I flipped the controller to flower Iโm setting the target VPD to 130-140.
I added an air conditioner to the room and ran the duct into the lower vent of the tent aimed up into the center. Changed it to the top vent the next cay.
I set the AC on low cool during the day and high cool at night. Iโm hoping for colors from the phenos.
Hopefully this will cool the tent down and help the humidity. First I moved the air conditioner duct to the top vent since it was blowing directly on two plants. As I mentioned above, Iโve had humidity issues. The humidifier warned that water was low. 10 messages and every time I checked it, it was full. AC infinity is shipping a new one now.
5/5 OMG. Lemon Cherry Cookies has spots in her leaves and clawing. And my tall FBA2502s are very pale light green throughout. I purposely reduced feeding so not to overfeed which is my ongoing issue, and damn if I havenโt swung the other way. So everyone is getting more nutrients.
Increasing the ppm to 1320, PH 6.7, 66F

As I mentioned last week, I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. AC Infinity does not extend the warranty to the replacement parts. I guess that makes sense since they would be in a state of perpetual free replacements. I bought an new one from Amazon. It came with a new controller which is different from the controller 69 currently using. I decided that while it is very inconvenient and inefficient to monitor the tent throughout the day, I would rather finish this run without introducing a new unknown variable. I will continue using 3 circulating fans, the 4โ exhaust vent from my 3x3.
I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. She continues filling out her buds and the trichs are starting to form too.

Maybe a little early but i did some trichome pics. The pics show a few amber heads scattered about but its still a month before harvest.
I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4โ exhaust vent from my 3x3.
I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative.
Lemon Cherry grew another 2 inches to 46 inches and towers over the Frostbanger gals by over a foot.
She does not show nutrient issues like the testers # 4 &5. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I broke off a limb as well as removed 2 large lower fans.
P.S I added a no churn ice cream recipe in week 4 of Natronas recipes. It is easy 3 ingredients. I bought Mango puree instead of fresh and reduced that to reduce water content. Try it. ๐

Not much to say Iโve reduced the micros and grow fertilizer and increased the bloom.
As for defoliation, I havenโt done any. My Lemon Cherry Cookies doesnโt have many fan leaves to begin with and those that are fading just fall off. Her buds are fattening up. Trichome pics last week are basically clear with a smattering of milky. Lemon Cherry Cookies has a 56 flower day period that will be mature around June 28, Iโll start flushing the week of June 18th.
I included an easy no-churn Ice cream recipe. It is a very delicious dessert. I hope you give it a try.

@Sour_D, She is stretching tall quickly and taller than 2502S. Very spindley with minimal buds, I can count on both hands ๐. She is definately not a big yielder. She better be good.
iโve attempted this strain x5. i was able to achieve all the characteristics except size. all 5 plants never got taller than 10-14 in (25-35 cm). 3-5 gal containers but all started in solo cups. maybe i should start in final container cuz it seems that once the tap root feels the bottom, it starts to concentrate on finishing. except for yield, very very happy with the strain.
@hypertencio, I always put my autos in their final pot. 3-5 gal is really all autos need due to their short life span. Lemony cherry i can't wait to try this one.
Beautiful fruit variation with a touch of sweet pastry ๐๐๐ช - great choice ๐I'm interested in your opinion on Airpot flower pots. Until now, I've been using textile flower pots. I've been using Airpots for two growing cycles, but I'm using the Airpots that I bought. But I'm not happy with them at all. The main reason is that my plants seem to be lacking since then. I think the reason is that not all the nutrients can reach the roots because a lot of water leaks out when watering. Plus, it's very laborious and there's a big mess after watering. Do you have a similar or different opinion, can I ask...? ๐ฆ๐ง
@Targona, I like them they are washable, reusable, and i have learned. 1) when the roots hit the air, they burn off. The plant sends out more new roots so it root prunes. 2) must drain the reservoir after watering so the roots don't sit in water that interfere with nutrients absorption, 3)Requires more frequent watering because or air circulation around the base. I Use catchment bins to catch run off. Oh and I know now to pack the soil onto the sides really well. Sometimes water shoots out the sides.
