Catawbiense Im excited for those two strains, especially the Frosted Guava 😋 Their Start to their lifes was rough. Has to recover from nutrient-burn aswell as underwatering.

Catawbiense So i did top them yesterday. Increased the lights to 75% (2x75w=150w). They now will get some time to recover. I will start with some lst soon. End of this week they will get their final 11Litre pots (Rootpouch).

Catawbiense All plants have reacted well to the topping. So far im a big fan of both frosted guavas. WRT seems to be the weaker genetic. Not sure if i will keep all 3 of them. The weakest WRT might end up on my balcony or garden.

Catawbiense The plants are now all well rooted and respond well to the biogrow fertiliser from Biobizz. Add 2ml/L biogrow fertiliser with every second watering. The weakest WRT was given away today. Started mainlining today(no additional topping). This is the first time I have used this training method. I think next weekend at the latest the 4x OSS plants will be repotted in 11l or 12l growbags. At the moment it is 33° outside and about 26° in the growbox. This is because I close all the shutters in the flat in the morning until late in the evening. Then I ventilate overnight until 06:00 in the morning. I have reduced the light from 75% to 65%, i.e. approx. 130w. As soon as it cools down again tomorrow, the lights will be turned up to 80%

Catawbiense I have had a medium infestation of fungus gnats for a few days now. The cause is repotting too late. I had to water daily and there was just too much moisture in the substrate. I repotted them yesterday in 11 litre pots. The roots were badly damaged by the fungus gnat larvae. I removed a good part of the old soil and thus also destroyed some of the roots. The substrate b.T.i. (bacillus thurigiensis israliensis) was poured into the new pot. I have also ordered nematodes which I can pick up on Tuesday. I will not continue with mainlining. I have the feeling that I have lost a lot of time as a result. Next time just topping again and then lst with a scrog net. I now have 8 main shoots on all the plants except one (it broke off lol). I might get another scrog net to carry out a light LST. But the most important thing now is that they root well in the new pot and that I get rid of the fungus gnats. Repotting has certainly removed a lot of larvae. I had over-fertilised the plants in the smaller pot towards the end, especially the FG1. Now water 2-3 times with water only because the biobizz light mix has enough nutrients for a week for sure
