Eddy568545 First day germination step just added a very small amount of coco grow base to get a ppm of 188. I no it's only the germination part but it shouldn't hurt. But I let it soak in a glass till it sank and now its in a bag with the paper towel method sitting in the grow tent with lights off and humidity should be higher since the seed is in the bag and damp nervous and excited to start my first Auto flower journey and my 2nd grow

Should I add cal mag to my mix I'm using distilled water with 0ppm

Yeah if you’re runnin’ distilled water at 0 PPM, you def gotta be adding Cal-Mag, even if you're using Sensi Coco. Sensi Coco’s got a bit in it, but not enough when your base water’s straight-up empty. Coco coir loves to suck up calcium and magnesium, so if you don’t feed extra, your plants will start showin’ issues real quick especially with autos that don’t give you much room for mistakes. I’d start with 0.5 to 1 ml/L Cal-Mag, just to bring your base up to like 150–200 PPM before you mix the rest of your nutes. Keep that steady in every feed. Rest of your setup looks dialed, and runnin’ AN with Fast Buds is a solid combo. Just don’t sleep on that Cal-Mag and you’ll be smooth sailin’ ✌️🌱💨

Eddy568545 Just up my nutes to 2ml today and first water to run off there in 5gallon pots. Hoping they take well to it I'm wondering if I should add cal mag to my solution since I'm using distilled water but not sure they say should be enough and advanced is made to be ran with ro water or distilled or worse case water with no more than 100ppms I got 565ppm without adding any calmag with my recipe let's see what it does fingers crossed any input or advice appreciated

Eddy568545 Beginning of week 3 started off this week bumping the base a little bit to 2.75ml but by the end of week 3 I wanna be at 3ml and the maybe play with 1 more week of grow at 3ml maybe 3.5 4ml and then week 5 then maybe switch to the bloom base but I don't wanna do it to early I'll let the babies tell tme with her pistils... Also just did a super small lst if u even wanna call it that just pushed the main stalk down to the side a lil not tide down tho today on both to get the lil branches to maybe speed up and catch with the top so I can maybe make a mini scrog or sog and maybe try a trellis without trying to top or fim a auto idk maybe pushing my limit on still kinda being a newbie. But let me know what everyone thinks any comments suggestions r greatly appreciated

I use in the lung room a Delonghi DEM10 Dehumidifier, its very good, keep the humidity levels right and turns automatically off when reaches the level wanted. I think the problem of having a dehumidifier inside the tent is that they create heat. If you are in a cold place its good but if you are in a hot climate like me I rather let it outside the tent in the lung room. Have a good one =))

Eddy568545 Nuthing changing for nutes think this might be the last week before I switch the nutes and maybe a week or 2 before switching to the bloom nutes not sure also debating on taking some of the monster fan leaves so bottom branches get more light and maybe catch up to the top is what I really want

Hey @Eddy568545 👋 You’re right — autos don’t need a 12/12 light cycle to flower, since they’re not photoperiod-dependent. That said, switching from 18/6 to 12/12 won’t harm them, but it can reduce overall yield since they’ll get fewer hours of light for photosynthesis. Here’s a quick breakdown: ✅ Keeping 18/6 = more light = bigger buds (in most cases). 🌓 Switching to 12/12 = might help if: You want to save on electricity You’re running photos and autos together Temps are getting too high during long light periods But if your environment is stable and you’re just growing autos, I’d personally stick to 18/6 or even 20/4 to maximize growth during flower. 🌱💡 Happy growing and good luck with your ladies! 🔥✌️

No it wouldn't have any benefit since autos go into flower on their own and not by light cycles. The only time I would even suggest it would be if your autos are sharing their grow space with photos or if it just won't go into flower. Switching now could slow down overall growth and bud production and also reduces yield potential.

Benefit.........none. Harm........delayed flowering and potentially much smaller yields.
