UglyEart Hello fellow gardeners, I've directly sown seeds into small pots filled with potting mix. After they had a chance to grow a bit (about four days), I transplanted them into larger containers.

UglyEart Not much to say, I was a little worried about the light and pH since I'm just starting out and don't have a meter or much knowledge. Thanks to a few of you and your diaries, I think I've got it.

UglyEart The girls are doing okay, I nudged the pH down a bit to keep it in check. It's 80% coco, 10% perlite, 10% potting mix – not sure if that's ideal, but hey. Let's keep things rolling.

UglyEart One of the girls is having some difficulties, so I reduced her food portion. I hope this helps her improve. I hope they will be strong enough for some light training next week.

UglyEart I haven't really done much this week other than feeding and installing flies traps as they seemed to love the coconut.
UglyEart This week was rough, one of my plants looked droopy so I'm cutting back on its food. They seem to be pre-flowering, but I'm not sure. I'll add more light and make sure they get everything they need. Ive also removed few fan leafs that obstructed soon to be flowers.

UglyEart They look healthy except one girl, but I cut back on watering, hoping she'll recover. Other than a little defoliation and bending a few leaves, I haven't done much else. I added a 100w light because they seemed a bit light-starved.

UglyEart This week I've been focusing on improving my plant watering habits. I believe I'm making progress, though further refinement is needed. They do have a slightly stronger odor than last week. I've relocated my grow tent to the outbuilding, and nighttime temperatures are dipping to 65°F, which is somewhat concerning. I'm also working to lower the humidity to 50%, as it occasionally climbs to 75% despite the automatic ventilation.

UglyEart One of my girls outgrew the light, so I followed some advice and did some HST—terrifying first time, but it worked, and I didn't lose a single . The rest are doing great except one that's been struggling from the start, but since I'm making oil from it, I'm letting it grow at its own pace. Check it out and tell me what you think of my first grow ever.

UglyEart CBD kush is getting there, according to Dutch passion they should be ready next week but I think they need at least one more. I have some issues with rusty leafs so I give them all light flush - 6PH water with calmag and bio heaven.
well any problems early on you have seemed to survive... you kept things too moist (bugs and droopy leaves), don't mix potting soils( your pests were living the soil not the coco) with coco(or organics) it opens the window for pests and bacteria problems that would not be an issue in pure coco coir amended with other inert materials (Perlite), use 10-15 percent vermiculite for added silica to help insure a strong plant... but they are going ok now so don't over think things
