Neetly Week 0 Day 1 Alrighty my first grow ever but I’ve done my research through growweedeasy.com. And I’ve decided to go with 70/30 mix of coco coir and pelucite into 5 gallon fabric pots dosed with Cal Mag; and I’m planning on feeding it with FloraTrio next week. Week 0 Day 2 They split around hour 19! Gonna wait for it to grow a little more then transfer into rapid rooter that came with the kit. Just Transferred into the rooter and keeping it warm on top of my pc, hoping to see some sort of sprouting by day 3/4 and good weather to transfer these babies over. So far, I’m just keeping the ziplok bag moist with 5.5-6.5 pH balanced water. Week 0 Day 3 Transferred the rooters into the final pot for the rest of their growth, these puppies are fast growers ! pH is a consistent 6.0, and I’m keeping them in my garage since it’s 60F outside. Hoping for warmer weather, at least when she sprouts her first couple of leaves. Week 0 Day 4 Just transferred the pots outside, hoping to get those sprouts some fresh sunlight. And hoping the good weather holds up. I think I should be able to start the coco coir nutrient schedule tomorrow. Going to base it off this schedule, Week 1 ( https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/coco-coir-flora-series-schedule.pdf ) Week 0 Day 5 Growth has been good so far, unfortunately it seems like one of the super lemon haze girlies didn’t make it :( i’ve started to feed them the nutrients from the seedling section of the schedule. Keeping an eye out for any changes. Week 0 Day 6 Spotted a couple of aphids, gonna look into natural insecticides/ordering ladybugs as a natural predator.

My only concern is how I’m going to contain the nutrient water, I know I can make em about a week in advance but what do I store it in? And how would I transport it to water my babies?

Hey growmie, for storing your nutrient water, just grab a clean plastic jerry can, a 5gal water jug, or even a food safe bucket with a lid. Dark containers are better, stops light messing with it. Keep it somewhere cool and just give it a shake or a stir before you use it. For watering, nothing fancy needed, watering can, jug, even a cheap pump sprayer if you want to get fancy later. Early on you don’t need a big setup, keep it simple. One tip, always double check your pH before you use it, even if you mixed it a few days back. pH likes to drift around when it sits. If it starts smelling weird or nasty, just dump it and mix fresh. Early growth is way too important to risk 🤞🍀♥️

Neetly Forgot to document Week 1 Day 1-4 Week 1 Day 5 Aphids are a real pain in my ass, looking into insecticides that are safe/don’t change the scent or flavor of my babies. Week 1 Day 6 Just smushed two adult aphids, I’m thinking of ordering a Spinosad based insecticide. Comment if you have any other suggestions for insecticides, currently only aphids are the problem. Week 1 Day 7 Finally picked up a Spinosad based insecticide. I went with this one. “Monterey Garden Insect Spray with Spinosad“ just dosed all the plants today.

Neetly Week 2 Day 1 Things are looking good, still seeing aphids but I’ve been spraying with the spinosad insecticide hoping it’ll kill em all off. These babies are looking nice and strong and I’m seeing the second nodes poke their little heads up. Week 2 Day 2 Haven’t noticed anymore on my girls. It looks like the Spinosad insecticide is working. Week 2 Day 3 Was watering my plants with plain water as I fed them nutes yesterday, and I noticed some browning on the tip of one of my blue dream’s leaf. Going to do a bit of research to see if it’s nutrient burn or something else. Week 2 Day 4 Noticing some brown patches on some of their leaves, some research points to calcium deficiency but I’ve always been watering with CalMag so maybe It’s pH fluctuations? Week 2 Day 5 A bit of a windy day today, I woke up to some of my girl’s having a tear in their leaves but all should be fine. Still sticking to feeding every other day with 10/20% runoff. Maybe I should consider commenting when I feed them.. Week 2 Day 6 Girls looking good, no nutes today but I did water with calmag. Getting a little worried about the far right Blue Dream, the rest of thre girls have been growing very well and she’s just a touch behind. Hoping for the best and prepping for the worst. Week 2 Day 7 Growth is good ! Super Lemon Haze is going ham while the blue dreamers are lagging behind a bit.

Neetly Week 3 Day 1 Growth is good, just watered them with calmag water making sure I get 10-20% runoff, sprayed insecticide as well. Week 3 Day 2 I’m seeing the 3rd node pop It’s cute little head out, hoping they continue their insane growth. Fed them nutes today. Week 3 Day 3 Growth is amazing so far Super Lemon Haze is going crazy and I might start LST soon. No nutes today but I did water with CaliMagic as per the nutrient schedule. Week 3 Day 4 Thinking about implementing LST, gonna do research on when to do so. Fed the girls nutes and moved the pots around to hopefully get more sunlight. Week 3 Day 5 Catastrophic disaster today, my dog ate two of the Blue Dreamers rip. Watering the rest with calimagic and I’m gonna smoke this pain away. Week 3 Day 6 N/A Week 3 Day 7 Fed the girls nutes, starting LST as well WITHOUT topping.

Neetly Week 4 Day 1 Continuing LST, and implementing some leaf tucking. Fed nutes. Also defoliated some leaves that weren’t lookin too hot. Week 4 Day 2 Adjusting LST, leaf tucking, watered with CaliMagic. Honestly I’ve been autisticlly researching about Indoor tent growing and I might take the swap over to it as the weather has been garbage. Maybe a 24-0 light schedule in a 2x4 with a Spider Farmer SF1000D and Vivosun AeroStream H05 and a random 4” exhaust fan. Week 4 Day 4 Watered with nutes two days ago so instead of watering everyday I’m watering when the top lair of coco gets dry. Been noticing some white hairs as well so I guess she’s transitioning ? Week 4 Day 5 Coco is still moist so no water for today, adjusted LST points and tucked some leafs. Week 4 Day 6 Coco is also still moist, LST leaf tucking and insesticide today. Week 4 Day 7 Top of the coco is dry so I’m feeding them nutes today, using the transitioning feed schedule of week 4. 1/2 tsp FloraTrio and CaliMagic per gallon.

Neetly Week 6 Day 2 Just got a 2x4 tent setup with a Spider Farmer SF1000D in it, really hoping this change and the 20/4 light schedule boosts growth. Fed nutes yesterday when the top of the coco started getting dry and defoliated before feeding. And we’re looking at a PPFD of ~580. Week 6 Day 5 Things are looking up! Did a bit of defoliation due to the massive amounts of growth and I’m looking to feed the girls nutes tmr, the coco looks like it can go for another day before the top layer is dry enough. Adjusted some LST points to distribute these bud sites.

I'd guess your environmentals are extreme. Leaf morphology is highly dependant on environment plant finds itself. To summarize. Leaf morphology, or the shape and structure of leaves, is strongly influenced by environmental factors. These factors include temperature, water availability, sunlight, and nutrient levels, and plants adapt their leaves to optimize survival and reproduction in their specific environment. Leaf morphology is a dynamic trait that reflects a plant's evolutionary history and its adaptation to its specific environment. Plants have evolved a wide array of leaf shapes and structures to thrive in diverse conditions, showcasing the close relationship between plant form and function. Very high light, very hot and humid, with a little too much stress, will be a big contributor to what you see. Not good or bad, just is what it is. Although the leaves look tiny they will have a much higher stomatal density than larger leaves, the diffusion pathways for gas exchange are much shorter allowing the tiny leaves to produce more specialized gas exchange to perform in high stress environment. Everything is a signal, temperature, intensity etc. If the plant receives extreme environment signals it will dramatically alter the underlying mechanisms to better perform in those extreme conditions. Problems arise when plant receives mixed signals........ In nature in natural conditions, everything is linked, in nature you would never have 95F 40rh in a overwatered medium with no drainage so the signals never get confused. Whereas indoors we have people running 77f 90Rh on seedlings and wondering why she isnt growing for 4 weeks..

I agree with Organoman, what are we looking at? Plant looks ok, ease up on some of the training and it should do just fine next round. I think you may have dwarfed it a bit this run but still will produce.

Yeah, I would guess this is a mechanical issue. I have every now and then a single leaf that looks not for 100% healthy and most of the time it was a unrecognized mini-accident while training the plant (as you mentioned with the LST-wire). If there are not leafes start to look like that, I would handle it as "no problem".

One of my Blue Dreamers has this brown tip, I’m not sure if it’s nute burn or light stress.
