Mephisto - Northern Cheese Haze x Strawberry Nuggets

JakeTheGrower Decided to give Autoflowering plants a try! I'm running this Northern Cheese Haze cross alongside the original Northern Cheese Haze. Will be very interested to see how it turns out, and how to the two strains differ. Follow along!

JakeTheGrower Into week two. So far this girl is vegging out wonderfully. Nothing in particular to note here - good plant structure. She has been tolerant of higher than ideal temperatures and strong light at this early stage in the grow tent. Light is measuring around 500 ppfd. I'm going to start some LST now that she is more established.

JakeTheGrower Week three of veg - and by the looks of it, the LAST week of veg. This girl is just starting to show her sex, shooting out some early pistils. I've decided to call this week three of veg at this stage, but we're really entering into flowering mode. I'm a bit disappointed to see her flowering so young with relatively little veg development - but oh well. We'll see how she progresses. The other big update is that I've upgraded lighting in the tent. This girl is now under a Viparspectra XS1500 Pro. I can't say enough good things about this light. Very efficient, runs cool, and best-in-class light uniformity. Currently running the light at 50% a good 20 inches above the canopy and seeing 500 PPFD. Another bonus owing to the high efficiency is that the tent is running cooler. Always a bonus,

JakeTheGrower Week 1 of flower!…More like week 2 as we saw some preflowering happening last week. I did a bit of LST in the intervening period so some of those lower branches have sprung up. Between this plant and my other auto, I’ve got some kind of issue going on - looks like overwatering but I’ve been letting the grow bags dry out fully between watering. Not sure if this grow media is the culprit - I’ve never used it before.

JakeTheGrower Into week 2/3 of flower. Not much to here. She's looking decent. I've been trying to correct a nutrient deficiency - she's looking better this week. I was hoping for more veg time - this girl will be pretty small, but overall I can't complain.

JakeTheGrower Into week 6! The buds have put on some noticeable size and I'm starting to see some trichome development. Looking pretty good overall. Didn't do any additional feeding this week.

JakeTheGrower Week 7 overall - looking good. Very compact so not going to be a large yield...but developing nicely! Not much to report this week - no feeding, just regular watering.

JakeTheGrower Flowering continues to progress. Seeing increased mass, trichomes, and some browning of pistils. Continues to be smooth sailing! Looking forward to harvest in coming weeks.

JakeTheGrower Week 9 - we're approaching harvest! This NCH cross has packed on considerably more density than the usual NCH strain and the aromas are intense. Stay tuned for harvest within the next 10 days or so!

JakeTheGrower Really in the home stretch now. I'll be harvesting any day now - trichomes are cloudy with 10-20% amber. The buds have swelled up significantly in the past week which is great to see. At this stage I'm just trying to wait for the optimal time to harvest. Cant wait!
