Germination

TheTerpologist I'm embarking on my first grow, I'm starting both plants in the tent and plan on moving one outdoors as the weather gets better here in Upstate NY. The Gorilla Z was a freebie from Fast Buds, so I'll wait to see which one is doing better before I transfer it outdoors. Any tips, pointers, or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

TheTerpologist Week 3 Veg April 18th (Day 14) - nothing April 19th - both plants received around 17 oz R.O water. GZ was fed with 1 tsp Big Bloom, .5 tsp Grow big and .5 tsp soil recharge. SJ was fed with .5 tsp soil recharge. April 20th (16) - Nothing April 21st (17) - SJ received 700ml R.O. with .5 Grow Big & 1tsp recharge. GZ received 600ml R.O with .5 GB, 1 tsp recharge, 1 tsp Big Bloom April 22nd (18) - Nothing April 23rd (19) - Both plants watered with 1000ml + 1 tsp recharge, first leaves snipped off of GZ as they were receiving little to no light and kept going into soil. April 24th (20) - chopped SJ first leaves. It's worth mentioning the Grow big I'm using was left outside over an easy coast winter, I definitely believe it's potency has decreased. The new leaves appearing seem a bit yellow should I foliar spray with Epsom salts? Also recommendations on defoliation would be much appreciated if I should even bother at this stage, aswell as some recs for LST. (E.x. pull bottom leaves down with hooks blah blah)

TheTerpologist Away for most of the week, so I just left some pre mixed jugs and instructions on watering. Burnt left tips have been an issue for a while so I'm going to do a light defoliation and some lollipoping, followed by a flush with bush doctor hammer and then a watering with solution might, details will be in next week's post.

Good luck on your first grow. With autos, refuce recommended feed about to half. Then monitor for deficiencies.

TheTerpologistcommented2mo ago
@Natrona, I'll definitely keep that in mind, thinking I'll probably need to start Cal Mag soon, I only use R.O.
