03.04. Day 22
*****************
The Sour Frootz from Karma Genetics are developing very well so far. We're currently on day 23 since starting, and these are cuttings—not a seed run.
The plants have survived the initial rooting and growth phase well and are now showing nice growth. Two days ago, I switched the light to 12/12, which officially marked the beginning of the flowering phase. The plants have responded well to the change—they've started to stretch slightly, which is typical for the beginning of the flowering phase. The internodal spacing remains compact, which speaks volumes about the genetics.
You can see that the cuttings were well-rooted and had a stable foundation from the start. Things are getting exciting from now on, as the next few days should show more clearly how strong the stretch is and how the pre-flowers develop.

Day 28 (Flower Day 8)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones (cuttings, not from seed)
Today marks Day 28 overall and Day 8 of flowering since switching the light cycle to 12/12. The Sour Frootz clones have transitioned well into the flowering phase, showing the early signs of bud development. White pistils are now clearly emerging at the nodes, confirming that all four cuts are healthy females and fully adapted to the new light schedule.
The plants are stretching moderately, which is typical for this stage—internodal spacing is increasing slightly, but they’re still maintaining a nice, manageable structure. Foliage is lush green, with no visible signs of nutrient deficiencies, pests, or stress. The leaves have a good turgor pressure, and overall vigor is high.
Environment and conditions have been kept stable during this transition, which is key for smooth hormonal shifts during the early flowering stretch. At this point, training is minimal to allow vertical growth and space for future bud sites to develop fully.
The strain is already giving off a faint, sweet-citrusy funk when disturbed—an early preview of the terpene potential ahead. From here, the focus shifts toward flower formation, monitoring for signs of over-stretch, and making sure the plants have everything they need nutritionally to support strong bud growth.

MistaOC 17.04. Day 36
Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones
Training: HST + SCROG
Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management.
To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy.
The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves.
Everything is on track. From here on, the focus shifts to flower bulking, maintaining stable environmental conditions, and avoiding excess humidity as the flowers start to pack on mass.

MistaOC 07.05.
Grow Diary – Day 56 (Flowering Day 36)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones
Training: HST + SCROG
Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom
Status: Everything is running perfectly!
At Flowering Day 36, the Sour Frootz plants are thriving in the mid-to-late flowering stage. Bud development is in full swing—dense, frosty, and increasingly aromatic. Trichomes are now clearly visible across the flowers and sugar leaves, signaling the beginning of the ripening phase.
The terpene profile is becoming more pronounced: a pungent, fruity-sour aroma with subtle gassy notes is filling the grow space, pointing to a promising final product.
Nutrient Program:
This grow is fully organic using Green House Feeding’s Bio Line:
• Bio Grow has been applied since the vegetative stage, providing a slow-release base nutrition.
• Bio Bloom was introduced after the stretch ended, precisely when the plants shifted focus from vertical growth to flower development.
This timing has proven ideal—plants are vibrant, healthy, and showing no signs of deficiencies or excesses.
Observations:
• Stretch has completely stopped; canopy remains stable and well-managed within the SCROG net
• Buds are continuing to swell and frost up
• No signs of overfeeding, nutrient burn, or pests
• Humidity remains under control to prevent mold or bud rot
Looking Ahead:
The plants are now entering the ripening phase. The focus going forward will be monitoring trichome development, aroma intensity, and bud density. In roughly two weeks, harvest timing can be assessed based on trichome color and desired effect (e.g., milky vs. amber).
MistaOC Grow Diary – Day 65 (Flowering Day 45)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones
Training: HST + SCROG
Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom
Date: May 16
Status: Maturing beautifully – final phase underway
At Flowering Day 45, the Sour Frootz are deep into the flowering phase and transitioning steadily into the ripening stage. Buds are now dense, resin-coated, and maturing nicely across all tops. Trichome production has intensified significantly—under magnification, the majority are cloudy, with the first few amber heads beginning to show.
The canopy remains uniform thanks to earlier SCROG and HST work. No further stretch has occurred. The branches are supporting impressive bud weight, with some light staking now helping where necessary.
The aroma is rich and layered: strong notes of sweet citrus and sour fruit dominate, backed by a subtle gas-like funk that fills the tent. Terpenes are peaking and beginning to stick to fingers during inspection.
Nutrient Management:
• Bio Grow continues to work in the background as a slow-release base.
• Bio Bloom remains the main driver for flower bulk and resin support.
The organic feeding regimen is holding strong—no signs of lockout, deficiency, or excess. Watering remains consistent, with careful monitoring of humidity to prevent mold as bud density increases.
Current Observations:
• Buds are compact, frosty, and aromatic
• Leaves show natural late-flower fading on older fans (normal)
• No pest pressure or mold present
• Environment stable (moderate RH, good airflow).

MistaOC Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones
Training: HST + SCROG
Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom
Date: May 24 (Saturday)
Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching
At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas.
The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency.
MistaOC Grow Diary – Day 79 (Flowering Day 59)
Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics
Plants: 4 clones
Training: HST + SCROG
Nutrients: Flushing – pH-adjusted water only
Lighting: LED at 50% intensity
Date: May 30
Status: Final flush in progress – harvest slightly delayed
Today marks Flowering Day 59, and the Sour Frootz are now well into the ripening phase. For the past three days, only pH-adjusted water has been given, initiating the flush phase. At this point, the nutrients in the soil are nearly depleted, and the plants are naturally drawing on internal reserves—visible through gradual leaf yellowing and fade.
The plants are approaching ideal harvest maturity. The delay in harvest by a few days allows more amber to develop and maximizes terpene maturity without compromising overall quality.
Lighting Conditions:
• The LED is currently running at 50% power to gently finish the ripening process while minimizing light stress and preserving essential oils during these final days.
Plant Observations:
• Buds are hard, resinous, and aromatic
• Strong sour/citrus funk intensifies with every day
• Natural senescence is occurring – older fan leaves fading evenly
• No nutrient deficiencies or toxicity present
• Humidity stable around 50%, airflow is optimal
• No signs of mold or late-stage issues
Outlook:
Harvest is likely to occur within the next 3–5 days, depending on final trichome checks and desired effect. You’re in the home stretch now, with flavor and resin peaking. Continuing to monitor closely for optimal harvest timing is key from here.
