ForbiddenSecret Hi folks! I've started a new batch. Lemon Orange is my favorite now, so I'm growing it again. Alright, let's get back to germination. The seeds sprouted quickly and shed their helmets in no time!

ForbiddenSecret On Saturday, it will be a week since they shed their helmets. They look great and are almost the same size. Lemon might be a bit taller, but King's Juice has a thicker stem—which isn’t surprising since Lemon Orange is mostly sativa, while King's Juice is an indica.

ForbiddenSecret Hello folks. The week wasn’t without problems, but the growth rate is still good. Lemon Orange looks better and bigger, although judging by the drainage, it consumes less than King's Juice. King's Juice has deformed leaves. Overall, there is a slight deficiency of calcium and magnesium. This week, I will transplant them into the standard Autopot containers and update with new photos.

ForbiddenSecret Week Update – Transition to AutoPot System This week, the plants were successfully transplanted into their designated 15-liter AutoPot containers, and the system was switched on a day ago. I’m still noticing some signs of nutrient excess on the leaves, but I expect them to fade as the plants grow and the substrate gets gradually flushed with fresh nutrient solution. As for growth differences, Lemon Orange is now slightly behind King's Juice in overall development, but it remains taller. Everything else is visible in the pictures. Plans for the Next Week Topping the main stem to encourage bushier growth. Implementing SCROG Looking forward to seeing how they respond in the coming days!

ForbiddenSecret The week went well overall. I topped the main colas, which helped the side branches catch up and grow stronger. The girls also gained noticeable height. I defoliated a bit — removed some fan leaves that were blocking light from reaching lower branches. I tried increasing the PPM from 550 to 700 using the base nutrients, but it resulted in slight nitrogen toxicity, so I brought it back down to 610. For the next reservoir mix, I’m planning to keep it around 600 PPM as well, but with slightly less base nutrients and a bit more CalMag. By the way, if you can recommend a good CalMag with low nitrogen, that would be much appreciated! Overall, the growth rate is improving. I’m planning to keep them in veg for another week or two, then flip to 12/12.

ForbiddenSecret Nothing to add. Will add photo after defoliation. I'm going to flip the light to 12/12 after few days after defoliation

ForbiddenSecret Hi there. Sorry guys, I don't have enough motivation to keep a report, but I'll try to do it anyway. That said, as you can see, the plant has been flipped to flowering and is already stretching well and showing buds. I don’t really have enough vertical space for Juice — it’s huge compared to Lemon. Overall, things seem to be going okay. There’s a slight potassium deficiency, but I’ve already tried to fix it: yesterday, when mixing the solution, I added 2 grams of pure monopotassium phosphate to 6 liters of water

ForbiddenSecret The plant is still growing well, but I’m seeing clear signs of potassium deficiency — burned leaf edges and progressive necrosis on older fan leaves. This is the third time I'm growing in Autopot and the third time I'm running into the same K deficiency. I haven’t changed the nutrient lineup — still using Connoisseur Coco A+B, Big Bud Coco, and BioBizz CalMag. I'm beginning to suspect that the issue might be a calcium-induced lockout due to too much Ca in the reservoir. To address this, I’m planning to completely cut out CalMag and slightly increase potassium using KH₂PO₄ (monopotassium phosphate). Hopefully this will help rebalance things. Any feedback is welcome — especially if someone has solved this kind of issue in Autopot+Coco setup.

ForbiddenSecret This week I slightly modified the feeding formula — I removed Big Bud and switched to PK 13/14 instead, since it offers a better elemental balance for mid-to-late flowering. I also added potassium silicate (technical grade, liquid glass) to slightly boost potassium and provide some elemental silicon. Despite the adjustment, potassium deficiency symptoms continue to progress — especially on newer growth. Leaf edges are yellowing, curling is more pronounced, and tip burn is visible on multiple tops. Interestingly, the plant grown in reused coco (with some old root mass left inside) shows milder symptoms, possibly due to residual potassium released from decomposing roots.

ForbiddenSecret Another two weeks down, and the tent’s definitely alive and kicking. Some branches started leaning over, so I tied up the colas before things got out of hand. I pulled CalMag for a bit, thinking it was leaving residue in the reservoir — but turns out the real culprit is probably the Connoisseur Coco base. Kinda sad, because I really like these nutes, but looks like they’re not the best match for hydro-style Autopots. They leave sediment. Time to move on. I added a 25-micron filter to the circulation pump, and that helped quite a bit — though it’s still not perfect. Next grow will be with CANNA Coco — hoping for a cleaner run. Lemon Orange already looks like it's getting flushed, even though I haven’t started yet. Gonna give it two more weeks and then probably chop. King’s Juice? That thing exploded — totally outgrew the scrog because I didn’t bend it in time. Bit of a jungle now, but I’m rolling with it. Oh — and they’re drinking like crazy: 2 liters a day from the res, easy.
