Royal Jack Auto- RQS (my second grow!)

everythinggrowz Week 1 of veg. (03/12/2024) I consider veg when i see the first set of true leaves show but still using the seedling light spectrum on my grow light until it gets a bit bigger. filled the bucket with regular tap water also notice in the picture the rock wool is touching wet clay pebbles. in my first grow I didn't do this. the rock wool was too high up and the plant dried out and almost died. moving forward I will always make sure the rockwool is not drenched underneath water bat at the very least getting hit by the bubbles from the pump this run I am also using a humidity dome for early seedling/ veg. the last time I think this part went slower because the humidity was not high enough to grow before larger roots were formed. this way it should be able to pull more moisture from the air. the 100W vivosun light is at 25% and 8 inch away to provide 250 - 300par will not add nutrients until the plant starts turning yellow. the same reason I don't ph the water starting out. no reason to ph something that isn't uptaking any nutrients. once its able to it turns yellow because it needs them then you add the nuits and ph. which will most likely be my next update. ***Added a bonus photo from the Royal dwarf plant I just chopped as well***

everythinggrowz Week 2: Taken on Saturday 03/22/2025 Have not switched lights to veg yet but will in the next few days. (waiting for the other plant I have in the tent to catch up) Close to having discoloration in the leaves so about to switch from tap water (not ph'd) to PH'd tap wat with nutrients will post next when I add the nuits in a few days

everythinggrowz 3/29/25: finally changed from plain non ph'd water to nutrient solution Using General Hydroponics: Flora Series early veg chart (nutrients added in order listed) 5 tsp/5gallon cal mag 18ml/5gallon floramicro 17ml/5gallon floragro 13ml/5gallon florabloom Light raised up and also increased intensity. went from 25% to 40% intensity Making the ppfd go from 268 to 330 ec 1.6 ph 6.0 ppm 820 Seem my ph meter is on the fritz but was about to use the ph testing capsule and believe it is correct. tried to ph to 6.0 Also to note: my last plant showed discoloration after a certain time with only tap water. This plant still looks completely healthy but decided to add the nuits, up light intensity, and switch the the veg light spectrum due to the size of the plant and root structure. Shouldn’t need to refill or do anything but possibly move the light until the buck is empty. At that point it should be around time for flowerinnf nuits

everythinggrowz Meant to top a little earlier but was busy. 04/07/25 Everything is still looking good. Don’t have to do anything with nutrients or filling for a while since it takes long to finish a 5 gallon this early in the plants cycle Low stress trained the main stem as well. Will most likely be the only training that will be applied to this plant

everythinggrowz 04/10/2025 Haven’t done anything aside from LST some of the other main stems as seen in the pictures. Trying to keep everything uniform height

everythinggrowz 04/16/2025 Almost time to flip to flower light and flowering nuits. Nothing else to do looking good So far liking doing 3-4 LSTs with the plant. Seems to keep everything uniform and be giving more kola spots

everythinggrowz defoliated 05/06/2025 Still looking good. On 05/07/2025 refilled nuits 4 tsp/5gallon cal mag 17.5ml/5gallon floramicro 17.5ml/5gallon floragro 24.75ml/5gallon florabloom will be the same nuit amounts from here on out

everythinggrowz 05/13/2025 Growing well, don’t have to do anything but refill the nutrient water whenever needs (usually every 2 weeks or so)
