Minuteman_Organics Soaked seeds in 1% h2o2 for 24hrs. Sowed 1in deep in Stonington blend soil in 3.5in pots. Also added mycorrhizae. Watering to maintain optimum moisture. Noted weight of soil and water for ideal conditions of soil saturation. Keeping under humidity dome. I'd say temps are low 60's with lights on 24hrs.

Minuteman_Organics 17/17 germination for the old lot 14/17 germination for the new lot *(15/17) 3 of the new lot seeds did not crack. So I dug them out of the soil and cracked the tip between my two fingernails. I re planted those 3 seeds and watered heavily. If they come up that's great. If not. Oh well. Results are surprising. I would have assumed that the old lot seeds would have experienced a hardening of the seed coating. Update day 3 everything is going well. Took off all the stuck seed coatings. Turned up the power a little on the. No leggy seedlings!! Added a humidifier set to 70%. Added a heater with a controller set to 70F. Added a fan to strengthen the plants. Fun times ahead Day 6: Update on uncracked seeds: 1 of them recovered. other two did not. Gave the plants their first real watering now that the first true leaves have started to develop signaling root expansion. Used 32oz of water and 1/8tsp seaweed, 1/8tsp humic acid and 1/8tsp recharge Day 7: no signs of stress or over watering so I think it was a success.

Minuteman_Organics Day 8! Plants are doing great. No complaints yet. The week has been super smooth up until the end. See next post for more details on the overwatering...Kinda forced when the plants are so small. No signs of root or stem rot or anything. And they already are looking a little better after the few adjustments to the environment. I did see that the temp was going doing to the 50's at certain points due to my inline fan kicking on for 30 minutes every 4 hours to clear the stagnant air. Should be all set now with the controller

Minuteman_Organics Another week in the bag! onto the third set of true leaves. A few more and the MAINLINING BEGINS! This previous week was a mixed bag. I unfortunately had to leave for the weekend and was forced into overwatering the plants during a cold snap in my area. Not great for target VPD. In order to compensate, I have setup my AC infinity 69 controller (giggity) and set the VPD value. Turned up the heater now that I am back and gave myself more control over the ventilation fan. Other than a little cold snap of chill, the plants are looking pretty good. Hoping they recover this week in the warmer heat I am giving them during this cold snap. Warmer weather coming soon Update 3/6: Plants have made an almost full recovery from the cold snap and overwatering. Some legacy leaves will probably be permanently damaged. This doesnt matter to me too much, once the mainline starts all those leaves were gonna get composted anyway!

Minuteman_Organics Week 4! Plants have fully recovered from the cold snap! Took about 3-4 days of stunted growth Hand watering is always fun and difficult when the plants are small. Stonington blend is not recommended for starting plants unless you add perlite to lighten the soil base. One benefit is I only have to water like once a week! Been oxygenating the water to prevent root rot and feeding recharge every time. Liquid humate and fish to round it out and stimulate biology.

Minuteman_Organics Wooo it's was a close one. Plants were starting to get a little stressed in the small pots. Saw some root bound symptoms and quickly evaced to fabric pots. 1 gal frabic pots

Minuteman_Organics Mainlining has begun. I'm gonna need some good training to help manage these plants outdoor so I am glad I'm starting early. Plan to top maybe 3 more times... Took clones and put them under 12/12 light. Trying to identify sex since I'm mainlining and it will be delayed significantly I can legally only have 12 female plants and since I am not trying to get the landowner in trouble with the town I'm gonna abide. I have 32 samples so if it's an avg yield I'll get 16 fems to choose between. I'm honestly betting it'll be 11 females based on my past luck with this strain. White clover cover crop is coming up through the straw mulch layer to hold the top layer of moisture in. Next week I will be adding blumat irrigation to practice before my big greenhouse expansion. Onwards and upwards 👆

Minuteman_Organics The week after the topping and they are doing great. No real complaints from me. Been trying to maintain perfect watering using a scale. Think I have it pretty good. Plants are growing fast in both tents now that I have a controller over the exhaust fan in the second tent. Now it hovers around the perfect humidity for the vpd and the results are great. Many are on their third nodes but I may wait till everyone is caught up to the same point before proceeding

Minuteman_Organics Mainlining continues. Another week. Another topping after 3 nodes of growth. Sex is starting to appear. Mostly for the males which makes sense as it's a rush to see who can spread their seed first. Been rubbing stems and some of these have got me really excited. The short stocky plants seems to resemble more of the black roze while the tall lanky plants resemble the ethos kush in terms of smell. Lots of spicy hash but we get some really floral potpourri, and sweet zkittles candy, and even some dried meat and tobacco. Lots of interesting stuff!!! I have shifted the timing of the lights to give them more nighttime sun to keep warm. It's been cold the last few weeks. They've been showing a little stress but nothing major. Excited for warm days so I can put them outside

Minuteman_Organics Busy week separating the boys and the girls. Unfortunately the ratio is looking rather poor for me. Like 60:40 m:f but it's still a little early. I could be misreading some pre flowers. Plants are doing well. I topped them up with a little more soil to fill in the gaps in the edges.

Minuteman_Organics Another week down. Getting ready for outdoors. Bringing them out during the day. And inside and night. Gonna start leaving them out a few nights a week on the warmer days The m:f ratio is equaling out to be much closer to 1:1 which is great. The clones I'm not giving as gifts could also make great backups for some of these. Most of my friends grow indoors so I give them the short and stocky phenos and I keep the tall lanky

Minuteman_Organics Hardening off. Some minor stress noted in a couple of them but for the most part they are transitioning to the outdoors well. Giving them some supplemental light to prevent crazy stretch since my backyard light sucks

Minuteman_Organics Finally back to sunny days. All plants were brought back outside. They were getting eaten alive in the basement. Glad to bring them outside and hose them off from all the potassium sulfate, spinosad and soap. We are onto 8 tops

Minuteman_Organics Terrible couple weeks. No year without it's drama's I suppose. Last week I got hit with terrible black spot fungus and spider mites. Had to go into emergency mode. Bought bonide infuse since I was fairly certain I was dealing with black spot based on the symptoms and the fact it's commonly found on maple trees and my backyard is shaded out by a maple tree ...so whenever it rained my plants were getting doused in spores. Treated the second I saw the festering wound. The branch is gone unfortunately. Burned it. A week later and symptoms seem to be disappearing. Black necrotic wounds are stopping in their spread and severity. Been checking everyday in areas that were infected. Definitely is working. 10/10 product. I will say that it ruined my shitty spray nozzle with the bubbles but that's a cheap replacement. This many months of work. Definitely not

Minuteman_Organics We have a full recovery from fungal infection. No signs of mites. All good over here! Hoping to move into the final position next weekend. They will be in 65 gallon pots in my homemade coots style soil. We are at 8 tops per plant. Will probably go to 32 in the end

Minuteman_Organics Things are finally moving along. The greenhouse is getting pushed to next year due to rain every weekend. Still growing the plants next to the location just gonna have to scale back and put two plants in each 65 gallon. They will be trained with a trellis net heavily to compensate. These girls are up to 16 tops each. Hoping the heavy training will pay off for this pivot
