Cloudy means peak THC levels, while amber signals the THC is beginning to degrade into CBN, giving more of a body-heavy, sedative effect. Quick tip: For a more uplifting, energetic high, harvest when trichomes are mostly cloudy with very little amber. For a more relaxing, couch-lock effect, let more amber come in, around 20–30%. Also keep an eye on pistils, when around 70–90% of the hairs have darkened and curled in, you’re usually right in that harvest window. Let the plant tell you when she's ready.
