Northerngrower We just cut her down. Upon reflection of the past 10 weeks I’ve made a few conclusions. This is my second grow, the first was 4 Girl Scout cookies auto. We got a whopping 16.1 oz dry. This time we wanted something a little more special. So we found these red poison seeds on line. Mistake #1... we live in a remote northern community and ended up having to use Walmart brand soil. It is too dense, not enough perlite. Plants suffocated a bit, and likely were also over fed as a result of the poor soil. Mistake #2 gave too much of my previous crops 16.1 oz away, so we are running out of smoke and maybe harvested a week early as a result.
Mistake 3. Being so northern we had an average temperature the last ten weeks of about -30c. Colder than cold. So the natural gas furnace dried up the air too much inhibiting early growth
I must say our red poison was totally worth it!! I think, so far. Trimmed wet weight is 80 g 😔. But that’s ok because it looks so cool and smells so good. I looked at her everyday in wonder and awe for 10 weeks . Loved it!!. I will updat when dry. .
We Jared her up at 20.8g. Very much love the smoke. My wife and I tried some last night. Sweet deliciousness. No couch. Good conversations. I’ve got two seeds left, I’m going to try them with good soil and a humidifier and see if I can get closer to this legendary 5.3oz plant I’ve read about. Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement. Sunny ways 😎
