A dream of Mandarin Cookies R3

Termeair The seeds have successfully fought their way through the first layer of soil and will now concentrate on root growth and slowly start to grow. Lamp is on 30% so it should be around 200ppfd after the seedlings stuck their heads out, it didn't take 2 days for them to just fall over. The temperature is 24 degrees with a humidity of 60-88% approx. i know that seedlings are sensitive, but to just fall over and die without touching them is really weird. i started 3 out of 5 seeds of the mandarin cookies r3 and unfortunately they all died. i hope the last two survive the seedling phase, i've never had any problems with the start, which is why i'm a little bit unsure what the reason is.

Termeair we had a lot of problems with the seeds, they all germinated but caused a lot of problems in the first 2-3 weeks, i guess i just got a shitty batch. One just fell over and developed a very strange stalk but fortunately caught itself. One just died or stopped growing and changed from vital green to dark green almost dead color from one day to the next after the night cycle. at this time i had put the remaining seeds of the pack of 5 all in water with 3% h2o2 in a 2/1 Ration of Destiled Water to germinate, all up after 12 hours but still had problems as described. Anyway, 3 out of 5 made it through the germination phase and one of them will become a mother plant

Termeair in week 3 I repotted them all, regardless of size, into the 15 liter end pots and let them growing now untill they reach the right size to get topped

Termeair So slowly in week 4 I was relaxed as you could see that the plants continued to grow and do their thing regardless of their strugle. The first of the MC was topped, the other two are still waiting. in week 4 i switched the mars hydro up to 40% and hung it 60 cm apart so that the distances between the internoids weren't too short, as they were still a bit too narrow for me.

Termeair Week 5, today I thought it's time to catch up on what's been going on and continue with regular updates as the ladies have the biggest struggle behind them

Termeair the plants were pruned, defoliated, topped & prepared for mainlining. 2 plants will still lose shoots but these are too small for me at the moment so I will wait. so far 10 shoots have been cut & moved to a mini greenhouse for cuttings today on 03.07.25 it's seems like we hit 2 difrent types of Phenos, one taler one and one short & bushy one. the smalest Mandarine cookies is 13 cm long, followd from a 21 cm bushy one and the taler one is 32 cm

Termeair We are not dead and still doing well but have been a bit lazy about taking pictures as I don't have a good device for it unfortunately. So let's talk about the ladies. A lot of growth has happened. All Mandarin cookies have come through & even the bitch is slowly catching on. The Purple Queen will take up a lot of space, just like the Super Lemon Haze, so I'm really looking forward to the yields. I'm planning to more or less veg for about 2 more weeks and let the ladies under the net grow a little under the tent and then let them grow over it, as soon as they are a few centimeters over it and almost all the spots have grown, I'll switch to flowering. mainfolding didn't work the way i wanted, i was too rough sometimes and that's why i lost a branch on one of the cookies. also because i actually wanted to take cuttings from one of the cookies but the shoots became so enormously long that i decided against it and will mainline it, so if you look at it technically it's not mainfolding anymore. More hst and scrogen with mainlining and 2 folded plants since i had/have problems with overfertilization in between because the lawn fertilizer with mykhorizza was a bit too generous, i only watered 4-5 times with water and wait until the plants are no longer so dark green and only add 1 ml per liter after reading calmag. i also use 40% power with 40 cm distance. Termeair So last night we switched to flowering. everything took a mega long time, but I successfully cultivated all the phenos and grew them as cuttings & so we are also through with the vegetation phase. Two plants suffered relatively well with cracked stems, but that just happens, the time at the lst also took its toll in the long run. I have been fertilizing for 2 weeks with 5ML per L Terra Vega & every 2 times 1 ML CalMag per L, by repotting & mixing myself the soil has lasted extremely long before I even had to start fertilizing properly Cuttings are in water with ph 6.8 ec 0.46 Water Temps 25° i'm thrilled too see what happens with in the next 2-3 weeks

Termeair Flowering has begun, the lamps are at 80% and at just under 1000 to 1100 ppfd, depending on how the plants are doing, they will be added to or reduced.

Termeair We are near the end of week 4 of flowering. The tallest MC got signs of cal deficit due to the distance to the light, so I pulled it up a few inches and lowered the intensity to 80% This week I added one last time so Terra vega and from now on I will only use Terra Flores and CalMag So far all good and the threshold phase should start slowly next week
