It has developed strong roots again after I had to put it completely back into the net, which is of course reflected in its low growth. As you can see from the pictures, it has only suffered external damage. If the photos didn't turn out so well then I blame it on that. 🔸I didn't even manage to measure the pH value every day, I just looked into the tent to see if it still looked good :D I didn't even look at the water level for 3 days and had to top up with 10 liters, but as it is sealed airtight, the moisture stays in the bucket and on the roots. 🔸I had to make a difficult decision and the two cherries have grown so big that they have stretched to well over 25 cm. They took up far too much space and as the cup grow is more important to me, I got rid of one cherry. You can imagine what the smell in the tent is like together with the runtz...awesome 😍😍😍 🔸I pour 5 liters of nutrient solution into the bucket every 2 days. But at some point you have too many nutrients in the solution and you have to change your water. The small burnt leaf tips are exactly the result of this... changing the water too late and having too many nutrients in it...but this still looks hamless 🔸What can I say, I'm thrilled...She really got very little love from me, but still developed remarkably...The side light is doing its job, I wouldn't know how else to light this monster properly...I'm 100% sure I could have gotten a lot more out of this grow. I have set up the dehumidifier as a last resort as it has been a bit rainy the last few days. I now have a constant 55%, but +1-2 degrees warmer at night...well, better than mold. 🔸I only add water with Cannazym and Bloom Booster, so EC=0, as my water is 0.5, so my nutrient solution for the last week has 0.5 EC and 5.6 pH. She still drinks about 1 liter a day, but it has become less. So the nutrients are steadily decreasing. 🔸I would like to address two points and have marked them in red in the photos. Thank you, you can also call me Picasso. 🎨🖌️😂😂 1. you can clearly see the area of the plant that has received no or the least light. The stems are still very green compared to the upper ones which look reddish purple. The other side with the additional light does not have this, where the reddish part starts a little further down. Schnabeldino I decided to harvest this plant in 2 parts, as the lower buds can still mature a little. I am very happy with the first part, it was almost 740 gr wet... It wasn't much work as there were few leaves and the buds grew very tight and compact. My whole apartment stank and I'm sure you could smell it on the street too haha. What can I say? Growing Chilled Cherry was an absolute pleasure. She handled everything I threw at her and forgave my mistakes—if I even made any. Throughout the entire grow, she showed no signs of deficiencies. Her leaves always looked strong and healthy. I might have overfed her slightly for a few days because I didn’t change the water in time… I didn’t check the water levels every day or put in too much effort, and then—suddenly—she just took off and outgrew all my expectations. I was honestly surprised by how much of a difference this growing method makes. The plant absorbs nutrients much faster, grows quicker, and gets significantly bigger compared to soil grows. She stretched by about 2.5x—more than doubled in height. Her development was outstanding, with an abundance of trichomes covering the buds like sparkling crystals. They look beautifully frosty. The bud volume could have been a bit higher, but that really depends on the strain. In any case, her appearance is classically Indica, with just a few thin leaves. The buds are incredibly hard and dense—feels amazing. I'm even considering getting her THC value tested. I cut one bud last week and tried it today… wow. Very, very potent—I’m impressed. The smell is intense, with subtle hints of cherries and candy. The taste is a harmonious blend of fruity sweetness and light nutty notes. I really like it! I’m sure that after curing, it’s going to be mind-blowing. I thoroughly enjoyed my first hydro grow. Everything went smoothly without any major issues. I'm just a bit annoyed that I had to cull the second Cherry later on. Still, I can wholeheartedly recommend this strain—unfortunately, it’s a limited release.
