Seen your comment for week 3, Usually you don’t need to ph with organics, the water should be declorinated though, soil bio caries the nutes for you and auto regulates it, is best to start with a soil that has some kind of organic correction as opposed to inert. If you definitely need to ph down an organic way is Lime. Just something to think about... Cheers happy growing, good luck!!!

you can mix ph down with anything lol, dont listen to anyone except yourself, so much nonsense in this space. anyway you can just squeeze a bit of lemon juice to your feed, that should pH down for you.

Pretty sure you can pH decrease anything you want without a problem to nutes… lol. If your growing organically you don't want your H2O to be to acidic or it will kill the microbes and block the intake of nutes. A pH between 6.2 and 7.0 is fine. Your organic medium will usually buffer any pH of H2O to an acceptable range for your plants as long as your medium is healthy. I use RO water that pHs to about 6.8 lately so I don't add any decrease to it for the organics. I pH decrease to 5.8 for the hydro grow I'm running too. Happy gardening and Peace

Things looking much better. Got my earth juice natural down. Now the question is should i go with Biobizz fishmix or run my canna coco a&b. Also been experimenting a lot lately and one thing is tap water versus Aro water tapwater definitely seems harder to pH and keep stable than ro water especially with Canna. I never knew how good I had it. But nothing is learned by staying safe I have about seven runs under my belt but clearly I had a lot more to learn on organics and certain nutrient issues.

I have some Earth Juice Natual Down coming so hopefully this will be in the rear view mirror soon. Right now tho its cost me some yellowing on older leaves. Nitro def.

Ya im used to that huge problem and some things there are good reasons why there are conflicting things but these kinds of discrepancies are ridiculous. I’d like to get a hold of Grow guru from Dude Grows Show he would know and he runs bio. So you’re saying they are wrong and if I run something like biobizz that’s an organic and add pH down that’s not a problem? That would also mean that you’re saying for me adding my mix at 7.0 without pH down is definitely wrong? Tap water is 130 ppm/7.1 ph After bubbling off ph goes to 8 and ppm increases slightly Fishmix at 3ml per gal / 300 ppm After mixing it goes to 7 ish. Do i add this final mix at 7? I have never willingly added a mix at 7 but alot are telling me its ok cause the coco ( that has re-charge and Cal mag buffered) and microbial activity will take care of it and bring it to a lower pH to the plants. This is what i get for switching nutes at this time. Girls were transplanted last night and look ok but bottom leaves look a little yellow.
