DabCrab Meet my own personally creation. Obviously the strain has it's roots based in the Skywalker OG family and thats all I'm telling. I've been waiting to pop these seeds for quite some time since I harvested the seeding mother a few weeks ago with a good friend of mine. I've spent the better half of a year breeding 3 strains together to bring this gem to fruition. This is a non feminized genetic breeding so regardless of whether it's a boy or a girl I'll be growing it and documenting it here. I've got quite a few seeds of this one since it was an intentional breeding so if one of these turns out to be a female i'll start a new diary from a clone of her. My goal is to pick the best phenotype of my new strain and breed it with itself to solidify it's genetics and make a powerful new strain to those fans of Starwars lore. Hopefully this one turns out to be a strong lady so that things can be documented smoothly.
Per my usual method the plant has been germinated in a small cup of Ocean Forest so there will be no need to add nutrients until after the first week or so.
Enjoy

DabCrab Welcome to week two of my baby. I'm excited to see how it turns out. Startup is a little slow but the plant looks to be soaking up the rays now getting bigger by the hour. It's clear the plant wont need transplanting or nutrients till week three so I'll be taking it slow and just letting it veg out. Enjoy :D

DabCrab This new strain is growing quite strong. A very interesting aroma that I can only describe as a sweet earthy smell from the leaves. He/She will be transplanted at some time this week to give more space for the roots to spread out. The plant is a little slow to develop but thats to be expected given it's genetic lineage (proprietary). No nutrients still as the plant doesn't need any until it grows a more superior root structure. Just lots of lovely PH balanced water thats been De-fluorinated. Nothing too spectacular other than the lovely 4 main tops and 2 ancillary nodes growing from beneath the canopy. I intend to defoliate and top again soon so that there will be around 8 - 10 tops (god willing). Keep and eye out for this bad boy/girl in the coming weeks. There will be some crazy topping and stress training to come. Cheers!

DabCrab It's the start of week 4 and there are so many tops. I'm still waiting on a bit more height as well as node growth so that I can top again but it looks as though the plant is almost ready for topping again :D
Nothing special to report, just more vegetation. 💤

DabCrab It's week 5!!! Woot. He/She has taken very well to the recent transplant. The plant is beginning to really bulk up. Bushing outwards while also getting some much needed height. I may begin to add nutrients this week so we will see how he/she takes it. I'll keep it nice and slow so the plant doesn't get stressed/ burned. It's just another simple week of vegetation. I may turn the lights off for a day or two to stress the plant into maybe showing it's gender this week. I think it'd be prudent to know at this stage there are a few others of her/him that are just as far along as he/she is so it'd be prudent for me to find out the sexes of this new strain. If this is a boy I'll add a strong female to her diary and they'll grow side by side for breeding. If it's a girl I'll pick the strongest male and grow him right next too her to achieve the same result. We'll be breeding this bad boy/girl with itself and documenting here for everyone to enjoy. If I do anything dumb PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know. Enjoy 😁

DabCrab It's week six. I'm still astounded that the plant isn't showing any gender traits. I'm keeping the light cycle at 12/12 until he or she begins to show some real and provable traits. I'm hoping that we can get a sign of things by the end of this week. Lets see what happens :D

DabCrab This week I topped the plant and begun training it to get setup to breed with it's partnered male. I'm training the tops in the canopy so that I can get as many possible seeds from this breeding as I can. We are going to start extremely light nutrients for this week to get her a little vitality after being so mean to her these past two weeks. Enjoy people :D

DabCrab It's week 8 and she's taken to her training very well!!!!
As you can see there is some slight nutrient burn on a few of the leaves since this was her first time getting some real nutrients. She's recovered very well and is beginning to add some serious height to all those new found tops. Once my flower room is done and ready for harvest She'll be going into flower to be bred with her boy toy to officially stabilize this very strong, and new, genetic creation. I'm very pleased with how she is turning out and cannot wait to watch her start to bud in about two to three weeks. Enjoy checking out how her training has worked out for her and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Cheers!

DabCrab You only get a video this week folks. I was in Alaska for a fun little 'end of the summer' vacation so you'll only be seeing the progress from the weeks growth. A lot has happened to her in these past 7 days. I hope you all enjoy. Next week she will be getting lollipopped and defoliated very heavily. Theres a lot to see in here as she's really shot up in this past week so I pulled apart the canopy for you to all see :D

DabCrab She's been stripped of most of her fan leaves preparing her for flowering and pollination.
She's an absolute monster recovering almost as quickly as I can stress her out. She's a magnificent strain and I can't wait to solidify her stability to keep her around in my private garden forever.
Enjoy this week of vegetation because after this she'll be going over to flower.
Cheers!!!

DabCrab She's perfected and ready for flowering/breeding. She will be moved into my flowering tent on day 73 to begin the breeding process. I can't wait to hit her with some pollen and see how her bud structure turns out. Should be a good show for everyone to watch.
I'll change the nutrients up next week to start giving her the nutrients she'll need for flower. We'll be gentle with her as she's not trying to produce fat dense buds but babies. Enjoy everyone :D

She's doing beautiful with her canopy. I'll most likely need to defoliate her by the end of this week. We won't be pollenating until around week three to four of flower so that the plant is in it's optimum growth stage to begin producing her seeds. The male is beginning to show heavy pollen nodes so we will be separating him from the girls at the end of the week into a collection growing area to preserve the pollen.
Not to much exciting stuff happening as she is just starting to flower and stretch a bit. I'm sure future weeks will be much more interesting but until then enjoy some pictures of her developing.
Cheers!

DabCrab Welp, it's week two and then some of flower :D
She appears to be a very slow flowering strain so we are probably looking at a 60+ day flower; possible 70+ day. Only the trichomes will tell. She's looking very beautiful with her evenly trained structure and small little nodes forming. Hopefully she'll get an explosion of growth in this next week or the following. Not much to report while we wait for the male to produce it's pollen to pollinate this beautiful lady in two to three weeks. Until then it's just a matter of documenting her first two and a half weeks of flower. Enjoy.

DabCrab Welcome to week three and part of week 4 of flower.
We are just waiting for her boyfriend to burst his pollen sacks so that she can get ready producing her seeds. Not much to report except she is stretching just a little bit as well as packing on a little bit of length to the hairs on her nodes. She'll be at the optimum point for flowering in the next week and a half. Until then it's just pictures and playing the waiting game. I hope you enjoy :D

DabCrab Welcome to week four and five of flower :D
We are waiting on her stubborn boyfriend to get it up. His pollen sacks are almost ready to burst. Once they are ready I'll immediately sift the pollen out from the plant matter and pollen sack husks so that I can hit this beautiful girl with some pollen. It's just a waiting game now. I'm pollenating her on the end of where I'd like to be doing it on the time tables but it's not much of an issue. She'll produce plenty of seed if I get her pollenated by the end of this next week. Until then just enjoy some pretty photos :D

DabCrab SHE'S PREGNANT!!!!!!!
As I told you all last week my male wasn't doing too well. He wasn't maturing as well as I'd hope but thankfully I was able to get one of his pollen sacks to maturity so on day 105 I was able to successfully pollinate two of the branches on this beautiful girl. You can see in the picture of my pollination on day 105 that I put the empty pollen sack on top of the flowering node to show you how it's done basically. Not to much else special happening in this week other than the amazing circle of life. I can't wait to show you pregnant resin sacks in the week to come ripe with seed. Until then enjoy these pictures :D

DabCrab Welcome to week 5 and part of week six of flower :D
I apologize in advance for the overly purple photos this week. I just couldn't get my camera to take good photos this week with my camera. I came to find out that my camera was in the wrong mode by the end of the week, hahahaha. Sorry about that folks.
She's all good and pregnant! You can start to see the sacs that would normally fill with resin start to show that they are ripe with seed. Sadly my camera couldn't get a good photo of her pregnant nodes but I will make sure to take good photos of them next week. I was sick this week an apathy really took over when photographing all my girls. Darn cough medicine making my head foggy.
She's been pollinated for over a week now, most sources site that you should wait about 3 - 5 weeks after pollination to harvest your seeded buds from the plant to make sure you have as many fully developed seeds as possible. I'll be checking one gland at week three, week four, and week five out from pollination to see how ready they are. I'll most likely let her run a bit longer in that time frame to make sure the seeds are nice and healthy. For now it's just a waiting game until she is ready for harvesting. Until then I hope you enjoy my purply purple photos.

DabCrab Welcome to the end of week seven and part of week eight of flower.
This pregnant girl is in flush now. She's about two and a half weeks along since being pollinated and looking pretty good in my opinion. It's not really noticeable that the resin glands are producing seeds yet and most likely won't be visible for pictures until the final week before harvest. These girls will be given about 2 more weeks of growth until I harvest them. I may harvest some of the un-pollinated flowers from the plants if the trichomes tell me they are ready sooner. Until then it's just pictures and playing the waiting game, I hope you all enjoy. Cheers.

DabCrab She's almost done flowering. All of her trichomes are nice and cloudy and a few appear to be ambering up but they are taking their sweet time. What's most important for this flowering girl is that her seeds are beginning to pop out of the pregnant calyx's on her. She looks to be ripe with very healthy seeds of the tiger striped variety. Judging from the flowering length of her parents I'd say she'll be done in between day 63 - 65. I have to say I've very much enjoyed growing this girl and it was pretty fun training her and stressing her out despite there not being a real need to do so other than a little bit of practice. I'll be posting a few more days of her in the next week but for the most part she's about done. I hope you all enjoyed this grow like I did. Cheers!
She has turned out beautifully. I couldn't be prouder to say that this is my own personal and unique strain. She smells exactly like Trainwreck with a hint of Kush in the background while looking exactly like her father. The next time I grow this girl I will be doing so for yields as this time she was just grown to test out how she handles stress and training as well looks when flowered for purposes other than breeding. While I did happen to pollinate her so I can continue her genetics from seed once again I did leave most of the buds un-pollinated to really give her a nice try. She smokes so smooth with a sweet flavor on the inhale with an earthy yet flavorful exhale. Her high is much like that of Trainwreck while having a bit more grit behind it like that of a more potent THC content.

DabCrab I'm so happy to have finished the final round of breeding this beautiful girl. She is everything I hoped her to be and more. The next time I grow her I know exactly how she wants to be treated so that I can speed up her training and growth to do this exact same thing to her in less time. In a few weeks I'l be sprouting her seeds to do this all over again so I can proudly reap the rewards of my year long labor finalizing this strain. I'll breed the seeds together again one more time and then begin phenotype hunting the strain. I hope you guys and gals enjoyed my breeding of a brand new strain and wish me luck in continuing her lineage in the future. Cheers!
