bildo This was a bad week for me, but I learned a lot from it. The growth of the three ladies was slowed tremendously. I concluded its due to a few things: The temperature in my tent was getting too low. The pots I planted the seeds in were too big, and I should have started in smaller pots and transplanted. I also believed I over watered a little bit.

bildo After learning from last week, I added a space heater to the tent to increase both the day and night temperatures. The three plants began to grow at a more regular pace by the end of the week. Although they are all the same strain, each plant looks much different from the other two.

bildo All three plants have been topped and trained the same way by now. One of my plants, is noticeably bigger than the other two. I have noticed that I only have to water around every 3 days. The black jars in the back of the tent are lettuce and basil plants I am growing hydroponically using the Kratky method.

bildo For most of this past week, I was away and the plants were under the care of my mom and dad. They did a pretty good job because I came back to some healthy plants. Right before I left, I attempted a FIM. I came back and the node that I FIMed continued to grow regularly, as if it was never FIMed. The fan leaves have noticeable cuts where I initially snipped it. Maybe I cut too high up. I am not sure what went wrong here because it was my first attempt at a FIM. Good learning for the future.

bildo Lots of growth this week, I am very pleased. I'm getting close to the point where I am thinking of flowering. Maybe 1 more week to switch to flowering? The canopies aren't too even, as the plant in the front is much more mature than the other two. This is my first grow, so please let me know if you recommend me doing anything prior to flipping to flower.

She's looking great! Well done! There are a couple of things I would suggest:
1) a little more clean up around the main stalk.
I'd remove the little stuff from the branches, the stuff that is near the main stalk.
Those tiny branches that would yield only popcorn.
2) Remove the strings.
I see several places where the plant is growing around the tie.
When you start to flower. She will have a big growth spurt.
You'll want that growth to go towards the flowers, not the branches or stalk.
In my experience, if you leave her tied down, during the flower stage. She will spend more energy on the branches and stalk, rather than the flower.
My diary has a good comparison to show what I am talking about.
The Cheese was untied, and has grown large flowers.
The White Widow Max was left tied down during the flower stage, and grew a very large stalk. While having only small flowers.
So again, I'd say cut her loose for the flower stage.
Otherwise - you've done very well !!!

bildo I cut down on the Cannazyme and started using Botanicare CalMag. The plants are beginning to fill in the trellis net. Just about a week or two until I plan on flipping to flower. I wish the net I have had smaller size holes, but I'm sure this one will do just well.

bildo Second week of flowering going very well! I have one predicament, the lower branches under the trellis net might need to be removed. I'm not too certain which ones to remove because I already removed a lot of them, but there are some large healthy ones that are just not making it up to the net (like the one in the photo I pointed out). With branches like these, is it better to remove them now?

bildo Started this week off with a big defoliation. I thought I pulled off too much at first, but it worked out alright. I plant on defoliating one more time around day 40 of flowering. Trichome are visible on all the plants but the one in the back right has a lot more than the other two. Starting to get a little sticky.

bildo 6 weeks of flower so far. The nugs are looking pretty good. At the beginning of this week I noticed the leaves yellowed and I also noticed symptoms of nutrient burn. Now looking at it, it seems like the leaves are changing colors because they are getting late into flower. I noticed a small amount of purple showing up on a few leaves. I watered with only water twice and just fed more nutrients at the end of this week, including the CANNA PK.

bildo I have concluded the problems with the plants are due to light burn. The nugs are getting big, and one one of the plants they are super dense. The strain is supposed to be 9 weeks of flowering, so I may begin flushing soon.

The grow went relatively well. I had 3 plants of The Church by Greenhouse Seeds, but each plant was very unique. Each seed I got germinated and grew strong and healthy. Would recommend Greenhouse Seeds to other growers. The high was nice and relaxing. It made me giggly and mellowed me out.

bildo This was my first ever grow and I am extremely proud of it. The nugs are dense and smell fantastic. The phenotypes on each of my plants were very unique, and each has its own smell. This did make it a little harder to care for the plants, but it ended up working out fine. I opted for a dry trim and did a tight manicure on the nugs. I plan on turning the trim into cannabutter using a sous vide machine.

@MovingOn, Thanks man! I found only one other person on this website who has done this grow in the past. I'm super excited to see how it turns out. One thing that is interesting is that each of my three plants looks very unique. I'll post pictures of the differences in week 5 update.
