Fortunato Looking back at it, the light was too far but I was afraid of overexposure to light. I know now to get it closer at very low intensity..I made sure humidity was high and sprayed the soil when it was dry. The seeds seem to me to have strong genetics.

Fortunato Looking back at it, another rookie mistake was not feeding the plants

Fortunato Fed the plants for the first time. They produced their first big fan leaves which was exciting to me. Humidifier stopped.

Fortunato First intervention to the plants. First I repotted into bigger pots. Then I decided to top the plants because I wanted to get some experience and it seemed like a pretty straightforward technique. And it was quite easy. To this day I don’t know why 2 of them don’t have a straight main stem..

Fortunato One of the plants is growing considerably taller than the rest so I thought I would try LST for the first time. It was a very enjoyable process and I think I did a good job. I got so worried by the leaves that are missing parts of their foliage only to realize that I must have cut them by accident when I was pruning before.😂

Fortunato Very happy with the plants growth I think now I have figured the watering and feeding cycles and it shows. I could’ve stayed in the vegetative state for a couple more weeks, but I was afraid of the restrictions of my tent. plants seem to have overcome nutrient deficiency I was seeing last week. I took care of all the light leaks prior to shifting to 12/12. Some leaves were removed for better sir circulation and light penetration.

Fortunato I am experiencing the flowering stretch of the plants. They have grown a lot vertically, but I’m also happy that the first pistils are showing, which means that there is no light leak, which was a huge concern of mine.

Fortunato The plants are still stretching but I feel this is the last bit. A few bottom leaves turned brown and fell and I removed a few more. It was quite hot this week and I didn’t give them extra attention with feeding/watering but later in the week they were back on their feet. I am happy with the bud+white hair growth.

Fortunato I think the stretch is over. Plants seem to be exclusively focusing on bud production which is great, it shows! First time leaving the plants as we are going away for a few days. I wish I had defoliated the lower part of the plants before this stage because maneuvering the pots to get good light for the colas is more difficult and some leaves are touching and that’s a condition for mold development. I added a fan below the canopies blowing up to remedy that. Hopefully all will be well when I’m back 🤞🏻

Fortunato All going to plan. I added the green sensation as per Plagron’s schedule and I thought I’d add cal-mag too. Increased the light intensity a tiny bit. Good weather this last few days a bit cool and 50s RH

Fortunato I was away on vacation for weeks 6 & 7 but my wife fed plants on a regular basis. The smell when I enter the apartment was stronger than before. The buds had gotten bigger and thicker evidently as a lot of the branches had bent. I added sticks and tied them so they are looking up. Not far from harvest now, can’t wait!
