GuyPablo This is my second grow, (first diary). I used same set up for first grow. I did all autos and purchased from Royal Queen seeds, 2 x Cookies Gellato, 2 x fat banana and 2 x northern lights, my pals and I really impressed with the results and some very nice smoke. Decided to try some photoperiods this time out and keep a diary. Love this website reading other people's experiences is very helpful. I've done three Royal Cheese - Fast, love this strain to be so common in UK, don't see it much these days. Germimation method used, - seeds soaked in filtered water in the dark overnight in a shot glass then added to a damp kitchen towel put in a large sealed ziplock bag in the airing cupboard, after two days large tap roots and potted in their final 15 litre fabric pots. Light set at 35% power at mo. Using auto govee humidifier and hygro sensor to adjust environment without opening , really handy being able to check/adjust via WiFi. Second sensor on Spider Farmer extraction fan to cross check both sensors for accurate readings.

GuyPablo Lowered height of light to stop seedlings stretching, also turned humidifier off as soil staying very moist, have barely watered this week once every 4 days, think the soil is absorbing water through the fabric pots from the humidifier. Clip on fan arriving tomorrow, as other fans a bit too powerful seedlings were starting to lean a little. No nutes other than root juice as biobizz allmix quite hot/nutrient rich to start with

GuyPablo Had concerns over damping off towards start of the week as seedlings tall leggy and leaning over, reduced light height to 8 inches and increased power to 60%. Last time I grew autos the light was a lot lower and whilst good yield nice smoke they were very bushy and short and stocky so experimenting a little with light height this time to increase spacing between nodes, 20 inches was way too far, being careful though as lights 450w, brill light spider farmer but gotta watch power a bit. The drop in light height and introduction of small fan making the plants wobble slightly has dramatically improved their strength and thankfully no damping off. Extraction fan on permanently set to 1 or two so low settings, nice air flow. Also sealed a couple light leaks so plants are getting their restorative darkness for 6 hours a day and overall touch wood looking fit and healthy. Pleased with the amount of growth after two weeks. Very light touch with nutes and watering at mo, .4 litre daily with root juice and bio heaven promote healthy organic soil. Fingers crossed so far so good. Happy growing all. :)

GuyPablo Day 21 since germination, added a little bit of fish mix to watering schedule, a little bit of yellowing on foliage, ph testing RO filtered water and bringing it down very slightly to 6.5, I think possibly the soil as all mix quite nutrient rich to start with so going really easy on the nutes at mo and not too concerned, if it continues or notice more will water till run off check ec of the soil just to be on safe side. Pleased with the amount of growth after 21 days :)

GuyPablo Got some leaf taco ing, and a two of the plants have developed some yellow leaves, burnt tips, I don't think it's nute burn as amount of nutes watering every 2 to 3 days is very low, I thought possibly potassium deficiency, increased fish mix slightly, the yellowing is not effecting the top leaves only so I didn't think light burn, I've moved the light up a few inches to be on safe side and turned power down from 70 percent to 60 percent, using photone app to measure DLI/par intensity and reading about 700 so possibly too high. Gonna flush the two plants worse effected, PH testing RO filtered water to 6.5, also added a bit of cal mag, hopefully following the flush, should sort itself. Any advice greatly appreciated fellow growmies :)
