Wobbles: The Wonky Cannabis Plant

Kenough Here we are in week 1, I use @einamio as a reference on how things should go if I do everything correctly. So far it is good. I'll keep her at more than 450 PPFD because why not she seems to like a lot of light. At the end of the week once she has a few more leaves I'll up it to a 20/4 schedule. I think this lil girl can take a lot more light and grow even faster. I check in at least 4-5 times a day to make sure I'm not burning her. Should start thinking of a name, a cute one this time. I have finally decided on the name: Wobbles the wonky cannabis plant! Even made a drawing of him From now on the journal will be dedicated to Wobbles' adventure and her struggle to produce a bud in her ragged apartment under a desk.

Kenough Well, another week has passed and the growth has been very good. Her legs are finally starting to thicken up so LST should be on schedule around day 20. IDK how I'm going to do it with this nonexistent intermodal spacing. It's definitely going to be a challenge! If anybody has any ideas on how to do LST when there's no spacing I'd be very grateful! Should I reduce the PPFD from 450 or reduce the 20/4 schedule? Any help is appreciated! 🙏 I went against everyone's advice again and did LST anyways. She's way too bushy not to do LST. LST Update: LST is a right fucking mess. The leaves keep covering the lower nodes no matter what I do. I try to keep them away but it might be a losing battle. I will try anyway. By reading her vibes I have decided that she has plenty of nutrients for this stage I just watered her with 1L of water. (15.11)

Kenough It's week 3. It looks alright. Wobbles has evolved into a bushy fucker, a bit too bushy for my tastes. The issue with his bushiness is that it doesn't expose his lower nodes to light. I am hoping in the next 2-3 days that I will be able to expose them to some light and get them zooming upwards. I'd like to thank @einamio once again because I copied his tip about watering with large quantities. Wobbles seems to really like lots of water. The adventures of Wobbles the wonky plant continue! Also many thanks to @QueenOfTheKind and @Nickeluring for some interesting tips. I still have trouble believing that toping on day 14 results in such magnificent plants. I'll give it a go next run def. Day 23: Preflower has almost begun, I can already see the lil white pistils forming. Exactly as expected to the day. I am very glad I started LST when I did, as from now I have almost a single week before it all kinda firms up and it's over. Today she has noticeably expanded her internodal spacing allowing for easier LST. I am hoping this trend continues for a while. Day 24: She's slurping that water, in 3 days the pot was basically as dry as it could be. Could switch to watering every other day? Day 25: Wobbles is still a bit smaller than I'd like, but at least LST is starting to look alright now. Day 26: Wobbles is still wonky af. Why do some of her leaves point straight to the ground? That's not where the light is coming from dummy 🤦‍♂️

Kenough Wobbles has started to flower, and she's no less wonky than when she was a seedling. I've decided to showcase some of her many odd quirks. The amount of leaves on each branch is completely random, sometimes it's 3 on one side and 4 on the other. 5 on one side and 7 on the other is also common. A lot of them don't even face the light, 4 will face the correct way and one of them will face the ground. That's not where the sun is dummy 🤦‍♂️ All in all it's going very well, considering my cheap under the desk setup. Hmmm in the last 2 days, the growth has slowed down. Not too sure why exactly. Maybe I overwatered in combination with over 700Ppfd, which might be a bit too much for her

Kenough I've gotten sick and have kinda neglected Wobbles a bit too much. Guess the LITFA has its limits. Wobbles has gotten sick too, it's a serious cal-mag deficiency. Buds are looking alright I guess.

Kenough Fast forward 4 weeks and Wobbles is doing alright. Once again I grew a dwarf lmao. Next time I'm not doing any LST and I'll just let it grow. Wobbles has some fucked up leaves but since it's close to harvest I'll just let em be.
