coolnout I soaked the seed for 24 hours.
I then placed it in a paper towel and
it germinated by the next morning.
At that time, the seed was put into
a rockwool cube and submerged into
the Hydrotron Clay pellets so that the
base of the rockwool cube was touching
the water in the DWC tank.

coolnout The plant roots are starting to expose themselves through the clay pellets.
The roots are short, and white!
I am working this week to slowly increase the nutrient levels to reach 500 PPM
and watching the plants reaction.
I added a humidifier this week as the outside air is 25F and the house heating season
has started.
I added an Aquarium heater to bring temps in D.W.C. back to 67F as it
was dropping into the low 60's during nighttime setback temp/65F.
The complications, never end................😁
coolnout The plant looks good with a bit of a tip to the leaves (nitrogen).
The roots are white and healthy.
The aquarium heater addition made a huge difference in root development.
This plant seems to like a higher PH than previous grows.
6.0 PH to the plus side seems best.
The stem is thickening up like its going to have some weight.
I love my girls chubby...........

The plant is starting pistillate flowers! That was fast. The stem diameter is 1/2".
The plant stretched five inches this week, from 7.5 to slightly over 13".
The plant is healthy.

coolnout The plant shot up to 46" from 29" last week.
The stem is woody at a diameter of 1.25"
I loaded up the nutrients to 785 PPM.
I thought this plant didn't like nutrients, it is
not fazed by a substantial increase!
She is eating about 2 tsp/120 PPM of nutrients every two
days sending the PH up.
The plant looks Sativa Phenotype.

coolnout This week started badly due to the root volume in a 5-gallon DWC.
I have grown many normal seeds with plants at 80", but I have never
experienced a plant whose roots were so refined that they choked off
the airflow through the DWC! I took the plant out of the 5-gallon DWC
and added more air stones, 8 in total. I put the plant in a 13-gallon bucket
and added about 70 drops of PH Up to correct the overnight PH drop of 4.0 due
to a lack of oxygen at the root. Everything went back to normal after this
procedure. The PH is now 6.4 and I also reduced the nutrients as the plant
is drinking water and not as much food.
😎Thanks for checking out my girls.
Take a look at my hydro vs soil comparison.
Both seeds started the same day after germination.
The hydro growth rate is astonishing.
