TreeTent310 So far so good. Not a whole lot to report just yet. She is growing steadily, working on her 3rd node now. I plan to transplant her into a 5 gallon pot soon and once she gets settled in there I will start to top her and get the mainline going.First attempt at mainlining a plant so we will see how it goes. I think it is going to take a minute to get to flower with all the topping etc. Hopefully the mainline technique pays off and will yield some fatty buds!

TreeTent310 This week she was transplanted into her final home. She is going fabulously so far! I am sure she will be somewhat stunted from the extreme trimming, but hoping she bounces back ASAP so we can really start to train her and get the mainline structure in place. So far so good! Hopefully she keep on track!!

TreeTent310 Mainlining has been surprisingly easier than I thought so far! We are 3 weeks in and almost done with the set up of the mainline. We pretty much just have one topping session left to go and then we will change the time/light schedule after that! I was really hoping to finish the autos before the light schedule had to be flipped but not sure if that will still work out or not. It looks like the mainlines were faster and the autos were slower than I thought, so there may be some overlap and the autos may have to deal with a few weeks of 12/12. Not the end of the world either way for me as long as they churn out some decent buds I will be a happy camper. Probably 2 more weeks of veg at the most and we will see how this whole mainline set up works out. Hoping for the best!!!

TreeTent310 She is doing pretty good! Almost done with the training she is a bit behind the Candy Cream but she isn’t definitely on track. Still getting structure set up for the next week or so than hopefully I will be switching the light schedule and getting this girl into flower. I’m super pumped to see how these mainlines turn out! AND Honestly it hasn’t added nearly as much veg time as I thought at all, I’m surprised how well both ladies have taken the toppings and bending! If this works out I will mainline again for sure.

TreeTent310 She is doing well this week. Recovering from all the toppings and finally catching back up to the Candy Cream. The plan right now is to let her get a bit longer and then we will trigger flower in the next week or so. Her structure is looking good. I am excited to see how well she does in flower! That will be the true test of how well the mainline technique really works. I have a feeling both mainlines are going to be BIG yielded. I hope so at least!!

TreeTent310 She is doing great this week. She’s been smaller than the Candy Cream all along but she’s starting to catch up a bit. She’s coming along nicely. Her structure is looking nice. I just changed up the light schedule so she should be stretching and really taking shape in the next couple weeks. I’m stoked to see how she ends up doing in flower! Definitely excited with this grow so far!

TreeTent310 I guess this would be her first week of flower, or at least her first week of 12-12 light schedule. She has not shown any pistils or anything yet but she is starting to stretch a bit and take a nice shape. I am getting pretty excited to see how she performs in flower . Everything so far has been a piece of cake. She has handled all of the training very well and now she is just able to der her thing and hopefully bloom like crazy and produce some fat flowers!!

TreeTent310 2nd week of 12-12 schedule she has stretched out a bit and started popping pistils this week too. She is looking great especially since I defoliated the undergrowth. Now she’s set up in a more true mainline fashion. I have had a lot of fun with this grow. I can’t wait to see some buds forming and fattening on this girl. Definitely going to be a great plant if everything continues to go according to plan. So far so good though. Loving this grow!!

TreeTent310 We are looking very good this week! Bud sites are coming along and I thinking she’s done stretching out too. The candy cream was sensitive to the light and had somebody minor issues but this girl has had no issues at all. The mainline is definitely coming along. I’m pumped on this grow so far. Still a little ways to go but pretty much just hoping to kick back and watch the buds fatten up!

TreeTent310 Buds aren’t looking nice this week. Filling in on the stalks and looking mighty sugary already as well. When I turn off the carbon filer my garage smells like sweet baked goods I absolutely love it and I’m sure it’ll only intensify in the coming weeks. She is coming along very nicely, hasn’t given me any issues whatsoever. Loving everything about this grow so far. The best is yet to come!!

TreeTent310 We are firmly in mid flower mode this week she is starting build up some bud meat and get some frost going too. Not sure if she has too much space between nodes to get fully chunked up but time will tell. I honestly still think she’s got another month or so to go before she’s ready so I’m just being patient and enjoying watching her grow fatter by the day. Nothing much else to report I’ve just been doing light defoliation on a few leaves here and there but other than that she’s just doing her thing. We are getting close to the end I’m definitely happy with everything so far this plant has been the easier of the 2 mainlines and she should just coast to the finish line. I’ll be posting another weeks worth of photos soon!

TreeTent310 Not too much to report this week. Just stacking buds really and fattening up at this point. I was out of town for the holidays so these pics are a few days short of the full week. She’s looking much closer to being done already! I started checking trichomes and they’re starting to get cloudy so I’m thinking maybe one more nutrient feeding then we will start flushing her. 2-3 weeks more for her so the end is very near. I’m super stoked on how she’s looking right now just hoping for some more fattening of buds in the next couple weeks. She is definitely going to yield more and be done faster than the Girl Scout Crack. Be back in a few more days with updated pics...buds are much bigger now than when I took these before Xmas!

TreeTent310 I posted the wrong shit in week 13 this is the right pics/post for the Girl Scout Crack. She is a week or so behind the Candy Cream but she’s looking great. Very frosty mugs and super dense. Her nug structure is totally different from her partner in the tent she has those super dense golf ball type buds where the Candy Cream has long fat buds. Both are looking good though. I’d say she’s been more resilient to light issues and nutrients etc, she is a really hearty plant. 1-2 more feedings for her then we will start to flush her she’s really gotten much fatter recently so I think the next few weeks she will really fill out and finish up. Getting close to the end now checking trichomes every couple days she’s still got a lot of clears waiting for those to cloud/amber up a bit and she will get cut I’m guessing 3-4 weeks still on this lady but it’ll be worth the wait!!

TreeTent310 She’s getting pretty close now! She got her last feeding and will be getting plain ph’d water from here on out. She may actually yield mora after all she’s got some fat lower buds compared to their other. Nugs are looking really chunky and frosty right now they’re definitely going to be rock solid once they’re all done. Small heavy/dense nugs are my prediction for this girl. Have another week or so left then she’s a goner!

TreeTent310 Almost done now. Last week of flushing her and then she will get chopped. I think she might end up yielding more than the Candy Cream she doesn’t smell nearly as strong though. If you need discretion the smell on her is pretty minimal so could be a solid option for someone in that situation. Buds seem like dense af golf balls. Was hoping they’d swell up a bit more but I think the yield will be between 2-3 oz so I’m not too mad at that. Will be back in a week or 2 with harvest results!
This shit is great! Very frosty rock hard nugs from this girl! Literally all the way down the buds are totally solid and laden with crystals. The entire grow she was easy to deal with. Barely required any maintenance or trimming and had absolutely no issues at all. She never got too smelly even when fully in flower, which may be a plus for someone who is trying to grow discreetly. This would be a great strain for any newbies because it was such a piece of cake to grow and the weed came out great. You can smoke this one anytime too which is nice. It gets you nice and relaxed without making you too sleepy. Awesome buds...very tasty and stony!

TreeTent310 All in all this one has been one of my favorite grows period. The plant came out fantastic. It handled all the training well and formed a really beautiful mainline/manifold shape! She was the easier to deal with and train of the two I mainlined as she required almost no defoliation and really just grew into the shape I wanted without too much fuss. The buds on this girl are the tastiest I have grown at least for me personally. It has the perfect earthy kush taste and smell that I really love. She ended up yielding a lot more than I originally thought. I figured she would be the smaller yielder of the two but she just edged out the other girl by a few grams. This bud is good for smoking all day or anytime of day because it doesn't drain you of too much energy to still function. Definitely one of my favorites that I have grown so far. I think my quality has improved steadily with every grow and this one may be my best yet!! Will be popping more of these in the future for sure!
Nice growth this week! It looks like you finished your mainlining. 8 tops right?
Quick question. On the earlier toppings your stripped all the secondary growth when you topped. It doesn't appear that you continued that practice on toppings two and three. I've seen a few grows that let those secondary nodes grow out as "extra" tops, which sounds good to me, but does that defeat the purpose of mainling and creating the manifold?
@Quexos, that is right! Toppings 2 & 3 both took place on the first available node so there was nothing to remove beneath them. There has been some new growth tips popping up since I have stopped topping. My issue now is....do I trim them or keep them!! It is something I am wrestling with I think I will trim the lowest ones and keep the ones that have some potential to become significant tops. We will see...first time trying this way so it is all new to me, I have to experiment a bit and see what works best I guess.
@TreeTent310, I guess that was my question. I thought everything was removed every time you topped so that it focused energy on the 8(?) colas you were creating. I don't see how those other nodes would hurt though. I'd be a little hesitant as well. I've seen a couple of mainline grows that look really long, like a centipede almost. I think those kept their secondary nodes when they emerged. In the tutorials it mentioned making sure each side of the first topping had to be basically equal. If you have 4 extra secondary nodes then 2 would have to be on each side.(?) Otherwise the plant's energy doesn't flow equally to each top.
Man... I've been looking at a shit ton of main-line grows as I am starting my first Main-Line grow (first diary) and you are killing it. I plan on setting up my manifolds just like you are. How much defoliating do you plan on doing? Are you going to let the off shoots on your main colas grow or cut them off and just grow the 8 colas? I'm gonna follow you and check out how your grow works out, feel free to follow me too. Seriously man, nice set up! Peace homie 👌🙏💪
@Wheytoobaked, thanks a lot bro! This is my first mainline too, so I am still figuring it all out. Overall, I have defoliated a little bit pretty much every few days, but just overly large fan leaves and anything that was shading bud sites too much.
I really debated for a couple weeks about cutting or letting the lower growth grow. I ultimately decided to lollipop them pretty good and got rid of most of the lower growth. I am a bit behind on posting so I have another weeks worth of photos to put up in the next couple days so you can see exactly what I have done! I will post the pics soon so you can see how much BETTER they look now lol. And now they are more of a "real" mainline which should just grow 8 big colas. Time will tell how she turns out but I think she is set up for success right now.
Seriously, thanks for all the love!! I will definitely follow you as well!
@TreeTent310, Looks great man!!! Very curious how they develop now you switched to 12/12. I'm about 2 weeks behind you, so your diary is a good example to look at. 👍🏼
@IndeKast, thanks so much!! I am pretty intrigued to see how/what they do in flower as well! They will have been on 12/12 for one week this Sunday 11-11-18. They have just barely started stretching a tiny bit so we will see...
