The plants have been transplanted for around 1 week now in their 1 gallon bags with amendments & living soil. All but the rage killer tuna has been F.I.M'ed so far. Rage killer tuna is notoriously known for growing very strait upward without much lateral branching. That is very evident even this early on

The Gorilla Sherbert & Exotic Animal, Both got root bound in the cups before transplant and have been a little slow with recovering but they will eventually bounce back around. I would have to say that the Jungle Lava, Strawberry cookies & Stinkin Bishop are all the best performers so far. The 3 Lamb Chops have been germinated and we will see how many come up in the next few days! Today was their first feed with Duel Fuel & other nutrients, Until now they have been feeding off the amendments in the soil & 2 microbe feeds. This program will be a hybrid feed with as little use of the synthetic end as possible.

We will be sexing them as soon as their big enough to get a few clones from and then sexing the clones. The Gorilla Sherbert & Exotic Animal are finally now starting to get their act together. These 2 ladies got really root bound in the cups they where in before the transplant and have been a little slow to come out of it. The leaf structure seems VERY indica dom. DECEMBER 14th 2023 - All 3 of 3 lamb chops are germinated, They will be going into their 1 gallon bags in 7 days. All of the plants are vegging along nicely, The gorilla sherb & Exotic animal are still lagging behind, I am wondering if they got a bit of root rot so I gave them a little wash feed of hydrogen peroxide mix today with some enzymes, Amino acids and b vital to see if that helps. Going to keep them and get them back to full health as I think it is a good lesson & practice triaging them. I might start another seed of each in a week or 2 depending on how much they lag behind, But we have 4 very strong beasts growing right now so they can take their time especially with the lamb chops coming up now. This weekend or next, We will be cloning the top's of each of the healthy plants to give us multiple mothers of each strain. DECEMBER 15th 2023 - Going to transplant all of the main 6 tomorrow, The Lamb Chops will get transplanted into 1 gallon bags in 7 days from now. Everything is vegging vigorously now! The Exotic Animal & Gorilla Sherb are now fully bounced back from being root bound and are growing rapidly. All the main 6 plants will be transplanted to 7 gallon fabric air prune bags next weekend, The lamb chops will go into their 1 gal bags & we will be taking the rest of the clones to multiply the amount of mom's we have. Our plan is to rip the clones off of whichever plants are ready first while the rest continue to veg, So example being if the strawberry cookies, Jungle Lava & Stinkin bishop are ready to give us enough clones for the beds, We will load all the beds up with those strains while the rest continue to grow. I am hoping within 8 weeks from next weekend, We will begin to have some plants ready to take the clones from. We will be starting with 25 per bed & raising those numbers up in later grows.

Subscribe now to our you tube to make sure to not miss it! New photos coming up shortly! JANUARY 9TH 2024 - Well the plant's finally have begun to grow again and come out of root boundness. This update is going to be covering the mistakes and lessons learned so far for anybody else looking to raise moms. So the original 6 plant's got moved out of their cups too late. The ragekiller was least affected by this, But right from the first transplant they where rootbound & I completely forgot to break up the rootzone during transplant. Secondly, Having little time with this MARS HYDRO LIGHT, I am used to the SPECTRUM KING's and having to use them from the roof of the tent due to their penetration. When we raised up the MARS HYDRO light, The plant's where seeing such a low amount of PAR & the plant top temp's where not at the place they needed to be. I really had to get the light a lot lower down on the plant's & the growth rate through some of the earlier to mid weeks have been much slower than they should have been. When I transplanted them out of the 1 gallons, They should have gone into a 3 gallon before all the way up to a 7 gallon bag and again, I forgot to break up the root zone. So once they got into these 7 gal's they really just kind of shut down growth. I made the choice instead of throwing them out and starting again, I was going to learn from my mistakes and correct this or at least try. So I removed each plant from their 7 gallon bag & meticulously broke apart the root zone of each plant then put them back into their bag, Gave them a watering with hydrogen peroxide to get rid of the dead roots and raised the light down closer to encourage more rapid growth and root development. Now we are at a point that they are finally breaking out of it and recovering and beginning to grow again. So for our clones, We are going to rely on the F.I.M technique to produce only tops for our clones. That way the uniformity will be much higher in our crops & the top's of plants are always the best clones. To this end, We are stripping away all lower growth and focusing on making the plant direct its energy into making us more top's. Right now each plant is working on making their set of 8, Then 16, and so on. This will require more time so in the mean time we are making multiple's of the rage killer tuna and if need be, We will run a large percentage of rage killer clones this crop. This strain is known to struggle to create a bushy plant so turning them into mom's will be a little more of a challenge but the genetics will be well worth it. This weekend, We will be taking clones from both lamb chops and sexxing them, Hopefully they both turn out to be female's they really look like they could be. They represent the perfect transplant timing 0 issues. They will be going into 3 gallon's next, Not 7's. As we embark on this journey of production these learning curves are all part of the process having never made mom's before, Or had to size up plant's into different pots. I hope sharing this with you all in a candid way helps anybody else having these issues ! Next week, We should see the ladies looking much better :) They are kind of naked now that we have stripped away all lower growth to begin production on the top's for cloning. JANUARY 11TH 2024 - Today the ladies look AMAZING. Their recovery strategy has worked and they are back now to growing vigorously. Utilizing the hydrogen peroxide first to clear away dead / infected roots, After taking the girls out of the planters and breaking up the root zones carefully and fully. Putting them back in, Letting them dry right out then beginning the recovery feed's listed above to help specifically with their needs. Utilizing REZIN for its molybdenum which is great at helping the plants intake nitrogen, It helps to utilize the nitrogen content from the amino acid's and improves the plants uptake when it needs it most. Everything in these feeds was used for a specific purpose & the results are now on display. This is what is possible, When you understand your feed and what your nutrients are all capable of, What role they can fill and when & how to mingle them for best results. UPDATE - JANUARY 13TH 2024 : @OriginalSensible So the plants are vegging along lovely, But one thing I have noticed is out of all of the plant's, The Stinkin Bishop is throwing pistils and staggering nodes. These plants have been on an uninterrupted light cycle, The VPD in the room has never been at a point where the plant's would stress SO much that they would kick into flower and NONE of the other plants are doing it, Not even the GORILLA SHERBERT FF from fastbuds or the STRAWBERRY COOKIES FF from Super Sativa Seedclub & those are 2 Fast flower strains that actually have autoflower genetics in them and they are vegging along just fine. I am curious could you have perhaps sent me the wrong seeds ? Otherwise there must be some unstable ruderelis genetics that have gotten into your photoperiod version of STINKIN BISHOP. Even if it reverts back to full on veg, Once we do this crop of it, It is unfortunately going to be the first of the original 6 mom's to get pulled out of the race and replaced with a @seedsman strain. A warning to anybody else looking into this strain. Unless we get a response on this & I got sent the wrong seeds somehow. I am also growing out your jungle lava for a mother & it is also vegging along just fine and not beginning to show flowering signs. Only the STINKIN BISHOP. Which sucks, I was hyped about this strain @OriginalSensible UPDATE - JANUARY 14TH 2024 : We have germinated a couple seeds to replace the Stinkin Bishop mother @ the end of this cycle. We have popped @Seedsman some Purple Ghost Candy from SEEDSMAN & A limited edition version of Rude Boi OG from SEEDSMAN aswell. So the plan is, If the Stinkin Bishop reverts and continues vegging, We will rip 1 cycle of clones off of it then it will be replaced. If it continues to flower out even though it is under 18/6, It will obviously be removed right away. @Seedsman Could we get some phenotype information on PURPLE GHOST CANDY & RUDEBOI OG ? We will be ordering a new ideal air warm mist humidifier for the main room instead of using the cool mist one we have now. So we will be waiting for that to come in then taking the clones. We will be looking for a total of 150 plants. Each tent will be getting its own diary. We have started up the second generation moms for the next crop after this & at that point when that harvest is in and reviewed, We will take stock of what we got & remove the weakest performers and raise up new potentials as we put in the remaining producers for another round & so on until we find the best line up of moms we can. LegacyMarketFarm MARCH 21ST 2024 - So this is the last photo's of the ladies before cloning. We had the freezing temperatures & frozen ground drag on longer so we had to delay for that. As well as our c02 burner, We had to configure from natural gas to propane by closing down the valves that allow the flow into each burner. We have it dialed in now & are prepped to rip clones this weekend. The ladies are giant and more than ready to produce 25-32 each VERY easily. Our second FC-E4800 is in the mom tent now as well. After cloning, We will be removing 3 of the original 6 plants. This is the POWER of MARS HYDRO / GREEN PLANET MARCH 25TH 2024 - We got a very good batch of clones off of every plant. 28 x 6 trays, I am hoping for a high rate of success off of these they look great thus far. LegacyMarketFarm APRIL 18TH 2024 - The 3rd batch of clones was taken yesterday and mother plants stripped back aggressively now that focus will be going toward the beds and clones. The generation 2 mom's are going to be vegged up and ready to produce our second harvest's set of clones. We have taken 3 batches of clones kept them in half gallon bags in each of the beds so we can pick the absolute best of each to transplant into the beds & proceed into the grow with. LegacyMarketFarm MAY 1st 2024 - LAST batch of clones have come in, Did 3 runs off each to get the plant count high enough to have the ability to pick and choose which clones to keep to get the best of the best. So a nice surprise was that we got to add in purple ghost candy to the run ! @seedsman seeds PURPLE GHOST CANDY , Out rooted every other strain in the room showing as soon as 5 days in some cases. The EXOTIC ANIMAL was extremely hard to get to root and take and grow vigorously. So we ended up cutting back on the exotic animal to fill out the bed with the PGC. We will be axing 3 of the mom's out of the tent right away & keeping the rest for evaluation after harvest, Stinkin Bishop is going, Even though it roots well, I did not like how much it haired up & for that reason its gone, Exotic animal is gone as well. As much as I love animal cookies and the sound of this strain, It HATES to clone and is damn near impossible to get it to take well. We ended up getting enough for a few rows, Then the Gorilla Sherbert is going as well, As it is a weird mutant sort of phenotype just shooting strange leaf patterns out. Our updated roster is as follows : PURPLE GHOST CANDY ( GREAT ROOTING 5 DAYS ) RAGEKILLER TUNA ( GOOD ROOTING 5-9 DAYS ) STRAWBERRY COOKIES ( GREAT ROOTING 5-7 DAYS ) LAMB CHOPS ( GOOD ROOTING ( 7-12 DAYS ) The EXOTIC ANIMAL, Was awful I ended up getting 4 that where worth keeping, But that is A-OKAY because we had a really pleasant surprise with our phenotype of @seedsman PURPLE GHOST CANDY. This star grew up quick and managed to get big enough by cloning time to give us a few, We figured we would run a few to test it this crop and see if it was worth keeping. To our surprise, EVERY clone we took of this strain took & rooted very well. So we kept the 4 exotic animal clones & put them in with the jungle lava, We then filled the empty bed with PURPLE GHOST CANDY. Giving us a full bed of this great looking strain. We ended up removing the Exotic animal, The stinkin bishop, the jungle lava and the Gorilla Sherbert. All where moderate at producing clones, While we are looking for the absolute best of the best. LegacyMarketFarm MAY 26TH 2024 - The gen 1 & gen 2 mom's have recently been cut back & lights have been dialed down to 35% to slow the growth down on the mom's until they are needed for cloning in a couple months. We have gotten it down to a science now with how to manicure them & cut them back then have them re-grow out again. I am VERY proud of myself as this is my first attempt at growing out mothers myself. I have always vegged out seeds & flowered from seeds with my own previous smaller ACMPR grows, Then managing other peoples grows they usually bought clones in I never had the opportunity to learn this aspect of cultivation, Until now & I feel we are doing very good ! These things are monsters and are super healthy and strong. With that said I would love any input or advice for growing out mother plants that we could use to improve even further ! I am always open to learning more. @seedsman The RUDE BOI OG seed has to be at least 5-6 years of age & it germinated no problem, I burned it with the bar LED's too close to them when they first germinated and it looked touch and go for awhile but I did not give up on her now she is going to be one of THE best moms, Wait and see ! Also, BE WARNED if you use these fabric pots that are supposed to air prune the roots for you & allow you to keep the plants in them indefinitely. The ORIGINAL set of them worked great on our first batch of mom's, BUT we almost lost the generation 2 mothers because of them failing and the roots grew right out the bottoms of the bags into the run off's from the feeds and almost messed up the generation 2 mother plant's luckily we spotted it, Transplanted them out into different fabric bags & resolved the issue.
