TreeTent310 One week in the books for this girl! I am counting day 1 as August 31st. I decided to start in solo cups and transplant once they start to get too big, hopefully that doesn't cause any stunting or anything. Other than that not much to report this first week was easy peasy just water plain ph'd water and let them do their thing. Once I transplant I will give them a day or two and then start training with LST. My last round of FastBuds went absolutely great, and I expect this one to be even better! Stay tuned....

TreeTent310 This week she has grown pretty well! She has taken to the transplant and training perfectly fine so far. Still just watering with plain ph'd water right now, may start adding nutes next week or so. She is a bit smaller than my Blackjack but still looking very healthy and strong so I feel like she will be a great plant when all is said and done. For now just keep up with the training and probably start the beginning of flower/stretch in the next week or so too. I love Gorilla Glue strain so can't wait to try my own out. Everything else I have from FastBuds is super dank and tasty I am sure this will be no different. I guess I will find out in 8-10 weeks or so!!!

TreeTent310 This week was the first week of nutrients and she definitely grew a lot this week...very bushy. Right now the training is starting to pay off as well, spreading out all the bud sites and filling out the pot. I expect the next couple weeks to bring on the stretch and start to see some pistils showing up as well. I am probably going to lay off of the training pretty soon and just let her do her thang! I really like this round so far she is super healthy and looking great. Can't wait to see what she does in flower!

TreeTent310 She is super healthy and growing extremely vigorously, but she is stretching out more so than stretching up so far. She is very uniformly shaped as well, all the tops are about the same height which should hopefully make for equally fat buds all around. Definitely planning to try out the Symbys nute system for the flower cycle. This girl just barely starting to develop white pistils so maybe still another week or so of stretching to come. Either way she is super healthy looking and on the right track right now. Will post again next week and hopefully we will be starting to flower a bit at that point!

TreeTent310 She is going good this week. I thought she would be further along in flower at this point, but she is definitely flowering just going a bit slower than expected. Pistils are popping up all over the place but no big stretch and no budlets forming just yet. She is very bushy with lots of bud sites so I think she will ultimately end up being a fat yielder! I really am feeling good about this girl just waiting for her to make the final push and starting pumping out some buds!!

TreeTent310 This little lady is taking her time. Especially compared to my previous Fastbuds grow and the other auto in my tent. She is still barely about to flower, no real buds at all, just pistils and still stretching as of now. I think this next week should be the first real week of flowering and she will start to produce some actual buds. I think this plant will ultimately be a good yielder, she has just lasted an extra week or two in veg longer than I originally expected. She is very bushy and healthy looking just waiting for some buds to show up!!!

TreeTent310 This was a good week for this lady. She is still stretching and getting taller everyday, when she is on the stand she is almost as tall as the Blackjack now. I really think she will end up being worth the wait and produce a lot of bud as she has a ton of bud sites all over. Still quite a ways to go in flower as she is just getting going ,but she is definitely fully flowering at this point and we should have some actual buds by the end of next week. I am excited to see how she performs in flower and watch those bud sites get all fat and sugary!!

TreeTent310 This week was a good one for this girl. She is finally starting to really flower and get some nug meat going. She ended up stretching quite a bit as well so she is a decent size with LOTS of bud sites. Hopefully she will be a decent yielder when she finishes up in another few weeks. At this point just feeding and watering and letting her do her thang until she finishes. Hopefully that will only be a month away tops but we will just have to wait and see . She is definitely on the slow track as far as autos go but I think she will be worth the wait in the end

TreeTent310 Shit went south this week for some reason! She is definitely deficient in some kind of nutrient , I am pretty sure the issue is Maganese deficiency. I am not sure why this happened, but hopefully it doesn't fuck her up too badly or kill her completely. The leaves are dying off quickly, soI am hoping I can save her before she gets completely ruined. Definitely bummed about this but I think that I can keep her alive until she finishes up and hopefully still get some good nug off of her. Bad timing for a nute problem mid flower but I am dealing with it the best I can and keeping my fingers crossed that she will pull through.

TreeTent310 She is still suffering a bit this week. It doesn’t seem to be as bad as last week because the leaves aren’t dying as fast or spreading as quickly. The buds are getting fatter still though and starting to get a little frosty as well. I’m just hoping she will make it to the end at this point and I get some decent buds. I think she will make it!

TreeTent310 Buds are fattening up big time this week and the frost is starting to come on strong as well. She is also quite smelly when I turn off the extraction fan. Besides the maganese issue and the fucked up leaves she is looking pretty decent and I think I will ultimately get some good buds off of her! I am most likely just going to do one more feeding then we will be doing plain water for the next two weeks. I have a feeling she will be finished by then as she is starting to milk up a bit now. This has not been the easiest grow abut I think she will finish OK so BUT we shall just have to wait and see!

TreeTent310 This week she is nearing the end finally. Buds have fattened up considerably in the last 2 weeks and trichomes are milking up nice as well. She’s just been getting plain water. I will keep flushing her for another few days and probably chop her this weekend! She smells fantastic and buds look dense and frosty despite her deficiencies she seems to be performing just fine. Will know for sure soon just how good she turned out. Hoping for the best!!!

Loving these buds! At first I was a bit underwhelmed by frost, smell, and the taste too but they’ve been curing a bit longer now and I think that was all they needed because this is some straight up FIRE! I think I burned her a bit by having the light too close/too powerful but despite that she still performed great! One thing is for sure FastBuds strains are hearty and can handle less than perfect growing circumstances pretty damn well. I have had heat issues, bug issues, and now lightning issues with FastBuds plants and every time they do just great, if I can provide a perfect environment they’ll be even better I’m sure. These buds get you nice and zoned out type of high where you catching yourself staring off into space. Very good relaxing night time smoke. Trimming was a pain in her and she needed a lot of defoliating throughout her life so bring your clippers ignore you grow one of these! All in all another great strain from Fast Buds!

TreeTent310 Overall she was a great plant! She took a little longer than I thought and she was stressed by the light but she finished strong despite it all. Buds are dense and sticky and starting to get smellier and tastier the longer I cure them. The high is a heavy one that leads to zoning out and deep thought about nothing lol which I enjoy. Really gets you more stoned than high. Loving all the FastBuds I have tried so far. I have Pineapple Express, California Snow, Cream Cookies, and Zkittles from them as well so many more fastbuds diaries to come! Definitely a strain and breeder I would recommend to anyone trying to grow some autos...in my experience you recommend really can’t go wrong!

Very cool ! they look so bushy !! I'm a first timer myself I was going to get some auto's but I'm not really sure how they are in comparison to a photo period plant . Maybe on my next try I'm going to do some cause these look lovely ! :D Keep up the awesome work -Happy Growing !

@The_Projexx, thanks a lot! I bent them down early on to get the bushy shape going. I did the exact same as you and grew photo period plants my first round then did a round of autos next. I think they scare newbs away from autos by saying they can be harder etc. There definitely is less room for error as you have less time to correct any mistakes, but if your first round goes well I’d say give them a shot! Thanks again!!

@TreeTent310, in my opinion autoflowers could even make it easier for a newbie, they grow really fast and flower without flipping the light schedule. They won´t revert to vegging due to light pollution. One thing is to make sure is you do not torture an autoflower, as you could stunt her and dramatically affect your yields. I´m interested on autos and will be testing on the future the quality of the buds, vs photoperiod strains for which I will get seeds of popular strains and run them side by side with their auto counterparts.

TreeTent310 commented7y ago
@ZenBuds, couldn't agree more some benefits to both for sure. Faster and somewhat easier for Autos but a bit less room for error. Either way if you just follow the basics and don't do too much then you should be alright and end up with some fire at the end of your grow!!

Another issue with autos is that a killer phenotype can not be preserved forever via cloning
the end.
