mushjj We were inexperienced and let it take too much rain. This washed away the nutrients in the soil and compacted the soil.
Our hypothesis is that the compaction of the soil impeded the root development and thus the whole plant. In addition to the yellowish coloring of the leaves, indicating a lack of nitrogen.
We added a generic fertilizer to supply the nutrients.

mushjj Catarina's leaves have regained their bright green color, showing that the fertilizer was effective.
