Wedding Cake Round 2

starlightcannabis Cloned both my wedding cake plants that are now in flower. Both from seed so I think we're seeing two different phenos here: plant #1 is definitely taller whereas #2 is much shorter and bushier. In my last round of WC I trained both the same way, resulting in two different heights. This round I'll be training the clone from #1 heavily with HST, mainlining, super cropping, etc. Clone #2 will get minimal training and focus on upward growth. Excited for this round!

starlightcannabis Very big changes from last week! Pheno 1 has been mainlined and hst has started. Pheno 2 is much bushier so I'm not hst'ing her, but rather just fim'ing and very light LST to keep her growth rate up with pheno 1. I have both phenos in flower right now too, and depending on how the buds come out I'm hoping to select just one of these for a final run later this year.

starlightcannabis Plants still recovering from continued training, pheno 1 is beefing up (rotated 180° to get ppfd coverage on the other side), pheno 2 fim results are panning out.

starlightcannabis Sorry for missing a few weeks on these. It's mostly just been boring veg growth. They're both ready to flip as soon as the flower tent is open in the next 2 weeks. At this point I'm just pruning them and keeping them small enough to be ready for the flower stretch. Planning to cull pheno 1 pending smoke test of it's buds. Pheno 2 is easier and more colorful, also seems to have higher resin production. All of this is pending first harvest in a couple weeks.
